Sohn Ho-young to Make Comeback as Solo Artist

Sohn Ho-young, a former member of the male band GOD, will make a comeback as a
solo artist after a year-long hiatus.

Sohn will release his ambitious first solo album, entitled “Yes,” in mid-September.
The singer has devoted much time and effort to his debut solo album, which includes
songs of diverse genres, such as funk, rhythm and blues, medium tempo pop and
ballads. Sohn also expressed new vocal and breathing techniques in the album in a
break from the techniques that he had used for seven years as a member of GOD.
Those who participated in his album’s recording praised his new singing skills.

Sohn also personally wrote several of the songs, displaying his skills as a musician
that he has acquired so far.

Singer Park Seon-ju, the producer of Sohn’s album and his vocal trainer, said Sohn
was the most energetic student she has taught so far, and spoke highly of his efforts
and talent.

The preliminary recording of the album was finished August 11. The recording
company and Sohn’s agency are reportedly discussing the final details of the deal,
but Sohn wants to re-record a couple of songs to ensure the top quality of his
album.

Sohn will give solo concerts on September 30 and October 1 at the Olympic Stadium.

Currently, the singer is visiting Hong Kong for a photo shoot.

The transformation to a solo singer of g.o.d. member Sohn Ho Young, who will be having his first solo concert
"First. LOVE LETTER-TO.YOU", is gaining a lot of interest.

Last August 17, 70% of concert tickets for Sohn Ho Young's concert were sold in 1 hour, according to four ticket
officers. This caused a surprise since the singer's 1st album "YES" has not even been released.

This record has made him rise to number 1 in the Interpark advance ticket sale chart and defeated Psy and Lee
Seung Chul.

"30 minutes before the opening of ticket sales, many people already rushed in, paralysing the ticket sale
system", according to an Interpark official.

Sohn returned to Seoul morning of August 17 after a pictorial.

Sohn Ho Young, who debuted 8 years ago, will be holding his concerts on September 30 and October 1 at the
Seoul Olympic Park Hall.

danny's kiss the radio had it's final show today. hoi and taewoo were there in the first half, which helped to lift danny's spirits. they also called joonie oppa, who is in the US. it was hilarious in the beginning, cuz he pretended to be a little girl and said "i'm hoyoung's fan!" kekeke.

2nd half was more touching. he read out messages from fans abt what ktr meant to them, or had done for them. by the end, he seemed to be trying very hard not to cry. during his ending ment he thanked the fans for supporting him, instead of doing his usual "내일 저랑 키스 하실거죠?" (he said he cldn't do it anymore.) instead, he ended with "언재, 어디서든, 다시마날때, 거날 저랑 키스 하실거죠? 안녕..." (whenever, whereever, when we meet again, on that day, will you "kiss" with me? bye...) sooo sad!

Yeah, I just saw the BoRa. Like what Eves said, Danny seems cheerful with HoY and TaeWoo. Wow, Joon in US now and called Danny on air. Aish... TaeWoo, he just like to break the secret when Joon trying to imitate girl voice. BoRa LQ & HQ are avail at few god pdbox. Not avail yet at mygodskygod.

So Danny don't cry in the end. The Bora that I watched only for the first half. I bet HoY and TaeWoo stay until the show end. Hope so... can't wait to see the pics soon.

^^ BORA stands for buinun radio. right? it's the video clip from the show. some shows will have cameras recording the whole thing. for last night, since it was live, there's BORA available.

i was with eves and meli last night. (thanks again, dongsaeng deul! ) i started posting on sudabang from evening. the sudabang girls were there since since morning, posting like mad, to show support. i posted a few messages for soompi and BR but trust me. it was crazy. you post and your message will be on page 4. i hope he saw them. =(

i think the show itself captured more than 10 000 posts last night. >_<

2 hours went by so quickly. i couldnt watch bora cause it was buffering pretty badly. so i had to stick to audio. he sounded really happy when taewoo and hoi were there. anwered a few questions from fans. personal ones too. (someone translate, please? ) but then he started reading the fans messages, his voice got sadder and sadder. i had tears in my eyes when he did his ending ment. took him close to 10 mins.. =( gosh, i'm sure it was hard for him..

i catched the last show last night...i was trying to access BORA but i can't watch it because of the Active X that needs to be installed first in the pc..(i'm just at a cafe last night T__T and can't afford to install any software)...the first part was really a good one...hearing the guys laugh together and especially when i heard Joon oppa's voice wishing Danny all the best...i was actually hoping that YKS will also call Danny and wish him the best but that never happened...

i also posted lots of messages in the forum and saw Naza unnie's messages too...probably meli was using hangul last night to post her messages coz i didn't see her name and the pc can't read korean characters too...T___T...felt bad not seeing Danny oppa last night...hopefully the Bora will be out soon...too bad it was raining hard in Malaysia last night and i guess that's the reason why it keeps on buffering on your end Naza unnie...

i know it's hard for Danny to leave the show...i can't also imagine another gasoo taking over...i hope they will change the opening song and the title of the show...it'll always remind the listeners of Danny oppa...
