I like Ayumi, but i'm not a huge fan or anything.
She's a great singer

I was a HUUUGE fan when I started getting into Jpop. Along with MALICE MIZER, she was the first I listened to. I started following her music around when "Free&Easy" came out. Unfortunately I think her best work is "RAINBOW" and before, so I lost interest around "Fairyland". I can't be bothered to even sample her new stuff now.

I absolutely adore how she helped the industry evolve. And I loved her 10+ track singles. Most remixes were misses, but there was some gold there. (I especially like "M Smokers Mix-")

I still listen to "LOVEppears" really often though. That was her best album ever, and I think the real peak of her career.

My very first Jpop artist. Was playing Thousand Arms way back then and I heard 'Depend on you' I've followed her career ever since ^^

Plus she's a Libra AND she's born just 3 days before me lol!

I have to say though her recent works have really been a hit or miss for me. Regardless I'm still a huge fan and will continue to follow her career!

I was a huuuuge fan of her! I loved her songs, esp. Dearest, No more words and Moments haha
But since I broke into the korean-music-generation I didn't really listen to her songs that often anymore....
But I still like her and her music though.

ayumi is the first J-pop artise who introduce me to J-pop and i love her ever since and will continue to support her ^^

and that recent news are there is this person she always regard as 'older-sister' and is very close to had passed away in an accident and it was really sad news...
and that she's is officially deaf @ the left ear. I'm was devasted..
i mean how heartbreaking can it be for a singer to be deaf. T_T
BUT she worked hard and continue for her fans, for her music despite the condition, and went to other countries for her tours and all.

I would say she is definetely someone worthy of respect in the music industry.

I'v only just started listning to Ayu, her music is amazing! her music style reminds me of Gackt a lot, I just bought the Best black and white and i loved every song, which is amazing because usally an album i buy will have at least a couple of songs i don't like. (except Malice Mizer, i love all there songs too).
