sorry to ask, but does anybody know what guitars hiroto and tora have used?

i used to really like them..but idk something changed maybe their music?

^ It's all about preference really, I quite like their new style of music, I don't think I would have given them a try if it wasn't for their new music. And that's not saying I don't like their old music, no, I quite love their old stuff. But as with most bands through time, they grow up and have a change in musical direction.
Some people are ignorant enough to find Mirror Ball, Rainbows and Cross Game remotely similar, but in all honesty, I find Cross Game a lot more like their old music and Rainbows a lot different to anything they've ever done.

Since, I'm kind of new to alice nine, i'm not sure which songs go to which album yet.. 8D...most of their songs are rock-ish, but their older songs were more of a hard rock...? -fails at explaining-

Yeah, their older songs were "harder". Like -dice- and Yammi ni Chiru sakura.
I'd love it if they did harder stuff like that. Sure, I do enjoy a light poppy-rock easy going tune every once in awhile but their songs seriously all sound the same now. Prove me wrong, but I have this slight hunch that you could play some of their recent songs together quite comfortably.


Shou isn't short, and the others can't be THAT tall IMO. Maybe he's just sitting down, or in a really awkward position that makes the others tower over him...or something.

Although it's an opinion (based on what you believe "hard" music sounds like), I disagree when you call -dice- an older song, it's quite recent when you compare it to their actual old songs, which is like World End Anthology, but there's nothing hard about that song is there?
Their old songs weren't harder, The all retained a unique sound, the same alice nine. sound, yet it was and still is, very different.

Let's look at ALICE IN WONDEЯLAND one of their very first mini-albums: shunkashuutou, souen -na mo naki kimi e-, HIGH COLLAR NARU RONDO, heisei juunananen shichigatsu nanoka and Siva&Diva. Which out of all those sounded "hard?" In my opinion, none, but they all had a unique sound. I actually find the songs in the mini-album to sound quite similar to each other.

Let's look at their first album: Corona, Velvet, FANTASY, DEAD SCHOOL SCREAMING, jelly fish, Q. & Kowloon-NINE HEADS RODEO SHOW- just to name a few. Out of all those, ALL had a unique sound, but really, the only "hard" song here would be Kowloon, and to an extent Velvet and Q.

Okay now look at VANDALIZE: the beautiful name, 百花繚乱, 昴, Drella & Waterfall, again, just naming a few. Out of those, I find 百花繚乱 and Drella to be pretty hard, and again ALL have a unique sound (the beautiful name does sound a little Coldplay/U2 for me though).

Now let's look at their first single: Time Machine, Merou ni Shizunde, Hana Ichi Monme. You can't seriously call any of these hard.

To be fair, I'll add the Yami ni chiru sakura single. There's only two songs on this album the other song is Byakuya ni kuroneko. Now with Byakuya ni kuroneko, I wouldn't call it hard, but I'd say it's getting there. But that's really only two songs. When compared to their other older music, there's a lot of variety of sounds, but they all still retain a very different sound.

alice nine. were never "hard." They were, and always will be unique.
Looking through those selected few, I think we can all agree there was always a catchy element to their songs.

I know what you mean by that. lately I've been listening more to their older stuff coz it is more 'harder'

but over the years alice nine. has produced different kinds of songs ranging from hard rock to soft ballads
so there should be something that satisfies everyone.

Actually, now that I've listened to more of their recent songs, there are some songs that I consider "hard." I agree that Drella is pretty "hard." I forgot which were the other ones though.

Yup I agree, I don't think Alice Nine.'s songs weren't that 'hard' even from way way back. The only way that I could describe their music is that their songs are unique. Every song they make shows their versatility as a band and that's what's good about them. And for that I will always appreciate and love Alice Nine.

The catchiest upbeat alice nine song..... there are a few that I like actually. Lawl. I would say....Rainbows, Blue Planet, Red Carpet Going On(?), Q, 13, Hana Ichi Monme, and White Prayer. I think these are quite upbeat-ish and catchy? Would Cross Game be considered upbeat?

Lawl. I always thought White Prayer was a slow song because I'm not too fond of slow songs, but I mixed up White Prayer and Eraser. (Even though I like Eraser) Therefore, I never really listened to it until a few days ago. It's a pwnage song lawl. In White Prayer, when Hiroto and Tora were in that glassed cage, Hiroto looked like he didn't want to be with Tora XD. I always thought he looked cool in White Prayer, but I think he looks cooler in Cross Game. He's just...pure pretty handsome in that MV plus Tora looks cool too. ;D >__< What's Pondori lawl..? First, I'd say their most 'catchiest' song is their 'hardest' as well: 闇ニ散ル桜 (Yami Ni Chiru Sakura). Also Q. クエスチョン. Saga sings some lines and it has funny Shou-Engrish<3

My favorite looks:
Tora --> White Prayer. Mohawk + black wife beater + white blazer + specs = damn sexy.
Saga --> Shunkashuutou & Ruri No Ame. (and when he's molesting his bass<3)
Shou --> He looks the same to me in every music video, but concept-wise, I'd say White Prayer and Rainbows. His leopard pants~ (or the nipple picture mikamoui posted xD)
Nao --> Pooh-San looks really good in Blue Planet and Ruri No Ame.
Hiroto --> Number Six.
