I've been a fan of Mega Man ost for as long as I can remember
and I'm somewhat of a Jay-Z fan....but this is an awesome combo.

Rappers do sample video game beats.
Yukmouth of Luniz sampled Secret of Mana in "Young Geez"
Kool G Rap sampled Final Fantasy 7 battle theme in "We G'z"
Eminem, J-Black, and Masta Ace sampled Soul Caliber in "Hellbound"
etc.etc.
Video game music does lend itself to creative sampling and instrumentals. And agree, Megaman 2 OST is the one of the best out there.

These are amazing remixes, although I thought he was going to sample directly off the game. it was probably smart to just redo the beat though, at least capcom can't come running in with unlicensed sample court orders.
