SouL-SysteM was founded in 2007 under the blog name, Musical Sensations. Started by ShawNzYy, the blog was a starting point for spreading the news about underground RnB & Hiphop artists. His mission? To separate what real music was from how fake mainstream music is. He wanted to spread the news about overlooked artists and their accomplishments. For the past few months, ShawNzYy had trouble keeping up with the blog and was forced into making 2 decisions. To drop the site and find another replacement, or just completely shutdown. ShawNzYy left on hiatus for a while until one day he decided to ask for help. His best friend, Risse, agreed to help with the blog on occasions. She completely redesigned the whole layout and got the blog back on its track. Debating that Musical Sensations wasn't such a catchy name, both ShawNzYy and Risse decided to change the name on congratulations for collaborating. Yet still, the blog wasn't being updated since both partners were busy with their daily lives. ShawNzYy then decided that they needed another partner in crime. He turned to his long time friend Jay and asked if he wanted to be on the team. Jay agreed and added new tools onto the site. Today, SouL-System is still growing and still spreading the message that RnB & Hiphop did not die, it was just overlooked.

Little facts about our contributors.

ShawNzYy also known as Shawn, has been a quiet member of Soompi since the Radio days. ShawNzYy used to DJ over the net when the Radio competition days were still hot and alive. One day ShawNzYy was exploring the different sections and topics Soompi had since he only hung around Current Events section. He landed on Other Music and noticed how many people had trouble looking for good music. Shawn then decided that he was going to contribute his music list so that other people wouldn't have a hard time in searching. He then made the half-famous thread, A Long List Of Hella Good Songs. From there it continued to grow until he decided, "Why not create a site or a blog so that everyone can be happy?!" He then created SouL-SysteM and the rest was history.

Risse also known as Clarisse, is also a member of Soompi. Not much is known except that she can sing, dance, draw, and has an amazing good taste on Hiphop songs. More info will be provided later on.

jOkA also known as Jay, is another member of Soompi. He contributed much threads on underrated Asian Singers in the Other Music section. Long time friend of Shawn, he has amazing taste in RnB and old school Hiphop. He was also in the shadows when the Radio days were still hot and alive. More info will be provided later on.

SouL-SysteM was created with the intent of spreading the news of underrated and overlooked singers in the music industry. You can expect a variety of music genre to pass by from time to time. From Kpop to Jpop, to classical and worldly, to all sorts of variety in genres.

SouL-SysteM does not have a set schedule on when updates are posted. Updates and music will vary from time to time, due to the fact of the new variety and style of music that is passing by.
