Yes, yes, KU is for European countries, while KE is for United States.

One is just newer than the other. They can both be used in the US. KE990 is newer and is only in two colors, silver and black. All those other colors you see are from the KU990 which is older. KE has no 3G though and they have different features. Look up the specs on gsmarena for more info.

It's damn gorgeous!
I really love the phone.
It has haptic features and the camera is excellent.

The only problem seems to be the scrollbar, which doesn't scroll so readily.

Other than that, it's sexy!

I don't think any US phone carrier has it. You will probably have to get it unlocked. I think At&t has carries another version the LG Vu, except without 5 mp camera.

i have it in black, unlocked for t-mobile and at&t.

i wanted it in pink but i had to wait for a month.
... now, THEY HAVE IT... and i'm stuck with the black one.

I know this is just a small detail about the phone, but damn, the ringtone is SO loud.
I think the max volume for ringtone is 10 and at level 3, the ringtone is deafening.

I was interested in this phone but I couldn't find a KE990 with 850mhz.... All the of Ke990 I bought were 1900mhz triband

I've seen some silicone skins that are selling on ebay and they've come out in a lot of colors last time I've checked and I've already ordered a clear plastic one...

I still think the lg prada is better LOOK-wise. Although the 5 mp camera on the viewty makes everything SO much nicer

But if you have a digital camera...you don't need a 5mp cam

I have the one that came in the box on mine, but often times I feel that it desensitizes the touch screen by a lot.
