I love the 'My Name is Yozoh' album~!

She has such a sweet and breathy voice

I've only heard "Nostalgia", but I love her voice. I didn't know she was featured in the Humming Urban Stereo song (from Coffee Prince OST).

i've only heard Harmonica Sound, the Coffee Prince track and Nostalgia from her. and i fell in love with her sweet voice.
what is she up to lately, anyone knows?

i must say her voice is very nice, but her songs are a bit odd to me.
i like some of them, but some of her style isn't ... hrmm, attractive (to me)
but i like her voice. its soothing to listen to.
maybe i just have to listen to those songs a bit more and they'll grow on me lol

Oh my god, her "Banana Party" song cracks me up. I play it all the time. It's so...dirty but with such an innocent sound.

Unfortunately, though, her music from her latest album is being used in a lot of commercials, so now...I just associate her with the big name brands and Kim Tae Hee (the queen of annoying commercials). Blah

omg, i totally overlooked the k-underground section..and this is my first time i went to the k-underground section and i am surprised to see Yozoh thread here..i've been her fan quite a while now and i would like to thank you for starting this thread..honestly, Yozoh is the like the main reason why i am so into indie music now..and i would love to come to Korea one day to watch her perform live..i love every song that she sang, cos she has this unique voice and her songs are unique too.. i always play Banana Song, and when i play the song, my friends would all say i'm being dirty and being a perv and all that, but the song is addicting.. b by the way , she owns a MySpace, so to all her fans, just add her and show her some love..

Many (most) of Pastel's artists have that type of "calming" sound. Han Hee Jung and Belle Epoque were my favorite Pastel artists of 2008 though. And if Taru throws this on her upcoming album, I might have to crown her my '09 queen immediately .

Thank you for the recommendations. I sent you an fr on lastfm. I was only recently introduced to asian pop in general and first started out with the real bubblegum pop and slowly worked my way to yozoh (currently). She's real calming and classy. Great package as an artist.
