anybody heard of the rap group Garion ?
i've listened to their first album
and i liked those songs

I was wondering which appearances made them popular

and if there's other groups/artists that have the same vibe

yeah i've heard of 'em & have their first album on my comp. they're not anywhere near my faves though and i don't know much about them, sorry. as for similar groups or rappers there's one i know of but i can't remember who....uh.... actually there're probably several people could name just because Garion/가리온 is yet another group that does pretty laidback stuff.

what made garion popular was the mphiphop 2000 cd when they were featured on it. also they are well known to be one of the forefounders of the korean underground scene.

i remember watchin this documentary type tv show on korean hiphop and garion was on there. first time i heard meta i was blown away. this was like in 2000 i think. it was like right b4 dt dropped their 2nd album. wish i remembered the name of the show.

Wow, I didn't know about these dudes until recently. They're like the Eric B. and Rakim of Korean hip hop music! Amazing flow, unlike that crap YG Family produces.
