What do you guys think of people who play their music really loudly and really loud music in general?

I'm talking about people who blast their music in cars so you can hear it when it pasts by, people who turn up their MP3 players really loudly and people who blast music on the streets when they're having a party or just for fun.

Personally, I've always disliked loud music. It gives me a serious headache. X:
I also dislike people who play their music really loudly. I see no reason for it. Why would you ever need to play your music so loudly that someone all the way at the opposite end of a train can still hear it clearly??
I mean, if it's a party or something, I guess it's reasonable for loud music to be playing but I still get annoyed. I hate people who play their music so loud that you can clearly hear the words of the song even when you live a full two streets away. I have neighbors who constantly blast their music, even at night and it's so annoying especially when I'm trying to sleep. T__T

So what about you guys? (:

It bothers me when I'm in a room and I can hear what a person on the other side of the room is listening to in his/her earphones, also people who turn up their volume all the way in their car.
I don't mind loud music if it's like at a concert though.
KOGEPANN;)
ahh.. make me feel bad, I'm sorry I'm one of them people XD
Me and my brother usually test out our speakers to see which one has a better bass at night,
we both weren't tired at 12 and was having a music war to see who's side is louder with nicer bass on full volume. wink.gif
I personally like music over all, depending on my mood.
When I'm angry I blast it up so I can't even think of anything it kind numbens my mind?

Too many people complained so mom bought me them expensive soundproof earphones,
where I can't hear anyone and no one can hear my music.
Blah, I'm going deaf but whaat about my speakers?!

If it's bad music, they need to turn that ---- off!
i4gotMyID
I think they need their ears cleaned out

Yea. When you're driving home at 7 PM after another totally pointless day at work, it's actually pretty soothing to blast your music way up. It's become a habit personally.

But I do agree that there's a time and a place. Loud music in libraries or loud music in the dorms during FINALS WEEK is just rude. Rude, y'all.
RockStar17
It depends. I usually blast my music driving down Highway 98, and when others do it I don't really care. If neighbors blasted their music at 3 AM when people are trying to sleep, then it's a problem.
Antz
it's kind of annoying. especially when i'm trying to hear something.
_ATELIER
can't talk, i'm one of em lol.
Xiaoba1tu
I like turning up the music loudly but not that loudly that it's noise pollution.
I don't mind how loud it is if the music is good and there is good bass. wink.gif

Yeh, neighbours like that are a nuisance. Add some karaoke in until midnight and it's worse.

reminds me of a shirt I saw on a woman this other day

it read "if you don't like loud music, then you're OLD"
ahaha

I personally feel that people who crank up the volume more than necessary to hear are trying to show off to other people the music they are hearing... Kind of like, "look at me i'm so cool i listen to this".

This applies mostly for people in cars windows rolled down with the volume so high that I can actually feel the bass vibrating my heart.
Jesszic@
disturbing. =)

but idc when i am pissed and annoyed to the max.
i usually blast it up till i am okay. which will take around 1hour. lmao.
i never get any complain tho, maybe my music is not loud enough. =X woot!
vip_gd
very annoying
are they deaf or something?
it hurts my eardrums
Joanna
i hate it when people blast their music in their car and in parties and stuff because i hate that and it annoys me when i have to shout when i need to talk to the person just next to me or something. but for the mp3 one.. im afraid im one of those people xD though when they tell me they can hear my music, i try to turn it down a little xD

Having to live in the bay area for over half of my life, I've grown use to it.
But the only thing that still gets to me is that some car have bad bass. LOL
THEmerryJANE
It's not the loudness that bothers me, its the bad music.
xSTEPHOO
I'm used to really loud music, my entire family is. My brother and me always blast music from his car speakers, the bass sometimes shakes cars beside us. And when we have a party we have to invite our neigbours so they won't complain. I do feel guilty sometimes though.
BEASTyouUP
well, if its a song i know, i would enjoy it lmfao. but if its some song that i dont like or dont know, i usually complain and tell them to turn it down. but to answer the question, i sometimes enjoy really loud music and sometimes dislike depending on how i am feeling lol.
celine!
i love loud music
matter of fact, the day ima get my very own car, ima blast the music super loud (:
i can totally see myself as a motormouth ahahah
bobisme
For me, It depends what kind
of music is being blasted out
of the speakers. If its like metal
rock or rap, HELL NO. dry.gif
Sometimes loud music I dont mind
though.
Maipcrkiyl
I don't mind loud music.
I just don't like it if I can hear it through walls.

If it's a party or something, it's understandable, but if it's just cars on the street purposely playing music loudly, i get pissed! Especially when they turn up the bass too! It's so annoying! I'm glad though, because where I live, we have a new I guess you could say LAW? If citizens catch others with loud booming music (in the car), they can write down the license and turn it into the police and the people with the loud mustic will get ticketed. I guess it would be disturbing peace? LOL, IDK, but I'm glad we have that rule. It's really irritating when I"m the the car, trying to have a conversation with others in my car and all of a sudden someone drives up two cars behind me, and my whole seat is jumping.
aimii
Depends on the situation.
People who blasts their volumes way up in the car with the bass and all pisses me off.
And if the music is mad rap, then it pisses me off even more.

But if it's a party, concert, or anything in that neighborhood, then I'm fine with it.
cavil.

I hate loud music. I dunno, it makes my ears hurt. T_T It really bugs me when people turn up their MP3 players so loud that you can hear what they're listening to if you're sitting anywhere near them. Especially since most of the time the music they're listening to sucks. And in cars ... ugh. Nobody wants to hear bad rap music blaring out of your car with all the windows rolled down. Seriously ... it doesn't make you look cool, you just look like an obnoxious idiot. I hate stores that play really loud music ... especially Armani Exchange (or the one in Vancouver, at least), they always play really loud electronica music and it's so annoying. You can hear it like, a block away from the store.
talksound
it's just ... really loud...
nguyenxxviet
I do it all the time. Even in the car LOL
My whole family does it. Even my parents sooo yeah XD

Hahaha.. I'm blasting/putting on loud music right now LOLOL.
Khikarugal
I really hate loud music in cars. My neighbor has his loud a** radio on every weekend all day!!! Especially when it's some annoying music that I hate. wacko.gif

I don't like really loud music,
but I only turn the volume up high when I'm not in a good mood.
mizzxangie
i don't mind normally.. as long as i'm not trynna sleep
& as long as the music isn't horrible -.-
Kathy_
I dunno, it's fine as long as it doesn't make anyone's ears hurt/bother anyone. [:

I blast 'dark, angry' music pretty loud when I'm mad, but it's only once in a very long while, so no one complains. :D
mintcracker
it's quite fun to do things like that especially when you're out at night. Though it gets annoying for others to do it lol. I like to turn up my music when I'm listening on my comp or mp3 (but in my earphones)
Sam Sik
I hate people that crank up their crappy Ipod earbuds in public NOT EVEN WEARING THEM to show off their music. How in the bloody world do you show off your music from earbuds?!

Some people listen to really loud music with Metal because they can get the "effect" that way. I sometimes do it when I'm in the mood. I like to headbang.

Kimmie
People who put their music really loud in their cars while driving, its fine for me, since I do the same Hahaha. But if they're parked in front of the house and just sitting there, I mean come on, don't you have a room?

And for those who blast up their MP3, well, that's their problem, they just won't be able to hear after. Their loss. xD If they don't becareful.
frnds4eva
I don't mind loud music but like someone said before, there is a time and place for everything and that includes loud music. Blasting loud music in your car when you drive by a neighborhood is kind of rude, especially if it's late at night. But I don't mind it being blasted in cars as much as mp3 players. I get extremely annoyed when someone has their music blasting from their earphones to the point where I can tell who the singer and what the song is.
sayad1
its liek not taht all guys do have to play music in loud - girls even do that - just teh thing is that we are a little rough specially when at teh party or some gymming time whn we have to forget teh sorrows and tention for relaxing.Yeah , we bouts do like loud music except teh LOVER BOYS !!!!
Sense91
I used to listen to my music loud until i started hearing static or buzzing in my ears, i was like screw this ima mess up my ears.
Sanochi
*raise hand* guilty blush.gif I tend to put the volume up just a bit too loud, I like to do this so I can hear the bass and the beat to the song, I think I'm appreciating the music fully when I do this, listening to everything in the song not just the lyrics imo.
x_TaintedLove

I'm not allowed to say anything because I'm one of those people who blast their music loud from the headphones and at 2AM when I have an excuse to write but I have writer's block.
But strangely enough, when people have loud music I automatically get peeved off. Unless it's good music that is. >_<
bellado
It's annoying when other people play it... so that's why I only play loud music by myself, haha. And plus, loud music's going to kill my hearing when I'm old ...
Dolly
i actually do that.
i turn my music up really loud while my friends and i are walking through a fairly quiet neighorhood.
this lady the other day gave me a dirty look for doing that i think.
i don't tihnk she was a fan of animal collective, haha
foreverxlove
Um. I hate it.
But I usually won't say anything cuz they'll go deaf by the time they're 40 so let them be.
Eggtart
I don't like loud music, unless it's at a dance or it's Tokio Hotel.
.c.a.n.d.i.3
I personally don't like loud music.
My boyfriend always blast his music really loud and turning up the base/bass to the max.
And I..I just don't like it sleep.gif
It hurts my ears.
