So, after you go to http://www.cyworld.nate.com/, you have to follow these instructions if you don't know how to sign up (this is overseas registrating only).



Step 3: Click the "I Agree" button.


Step 4: Fill in information about yourself (Part 1)


Step 5: Fill in information about yourself (Part 2)


Step 6: Indicate your country (Part 1)




Then, you're done! =)

FAQ:

Q: Can I write comments without my own Cyworld?
A: Yes, you can. Although if you have a Cyworld you can do 1촌 and if the other accepts, you can have access to their whole Cyworld.

Q: What identification must I send?
A: From what I've heard, you can use your Driver's Liscense, Passport, or Student ID to confirm your identification. I've never tried this, but I've heard from a friend that you can blank out really private information such as your home phone number.

Q: Help! I don't have a scanner!
A: Umm, really. You don't need a scanner. If you have a digital camera, take a picture with it and upload it to your computer. Easy as that.

Q: How come I can't log in anymore!?
A: If it's been more than a week since you've registered and you didn't send in your identification, your account is automatically deleted.

Q: Is it possible to track the visitors who went to our cy? (Whether it's IP, cyworld name, etc.)
A: No, there are no more tracking functions other than the number of who visited, and the total number.

DESCRIPTIONS:

Miniroom: A "room" that mainly uses characters and animated, real-looking backgrounds.
Storyroom: More like a "book" that allows you to write more, put pictures of yourself, etc.
Diary: Your diary that you can write in.
Jukebox: A list of music that you bought.
Miniroom/Storyroom: These cannot be disabled, and they are to decorate.
Picture gallery: A place to upload your pictures
Gallery: Somewhere that others can upload and create funny drawings.
Board: A board where you can write in or create categories.
Paper: For sharing ideas/papers (You don't need this, it's like a club where you discuss these research papers, etc. -___-)
Videos: Where you share your videos.
File Room: A room where you can share your files. (At least that's what I think it is... )
Favorites: Put up links to your favorite places to go.
Contents: You can buy books and let people read them by this tab.

NEATO! i have a question... where do you go to edit your pictures? like make a white border outside or make the page flap effect? ive tried in the chinese cyworld but they dont let me :\

i cant read korean and this pop up came up when i pressed that button on step 2 for the joining part..

Did you send in your information and everything? Hmm... does it just not work or is there a popup? If you can't log in after doing all of that then PM me the email + password (I assure you there's nothing to hack ) and I'll try to login.

i wanna sign up but i'm scared to send them my driver's license, there's some pretty important stuff there, just worried.... I'm thinking that they should take about 5 days or less. Did you send in your information? Like your driver's liscence, etc.

If you want, you can erase/blur the parts you don't want. Like your home address, you should probably just keep the COUNTRY and blur out the other info. I think they just want your picture, birthday, and maybe your country. I don't exactly know why they want it, but I'm thinking it's a law.

I don't really know because it's not encoded into Korean. But if your password isn't a combination of letters and numbers, that's the problem.

Go to your setting tab:


Go to "Mini-hompy menu":


Change it to "No restrictions":

Do I put in my REAL Name or the username I want my cyworld to be?

If I'm suppose to put in my REAL name, then later would it take me to a page where I get to put out the username I want?

i have two questions to the korean cyworld...

one: i use mozilla firefox as my internet and whenever i go to the cyworld home page, i sign in all right but when i click to go to my hompi, the pop-up for it comes out but it takes up my entire computer screen space and it cuts off the sides and stuff. is there some way to make it smaller like it should normally be?

and also, something is wrong with my music. nothing plays when it should, and i clicked on the "sulchi" thing and it said something about active x and i dont know how to download active x from there...

i hope someone can help me...
