Not a big fan of Ronaldo. Fantastic footballer but a little too dodgy for me... I bet so many Americans/people who know almost nothing about football are going to say either Ronaldo or Beckham.

For me, it would have to be Diego Maradona. He gave us old, short, fat, druggies hope that we too could be football superstars.

I support Manchester United...so i guess i like most of the players...as Portuguese i think Cristiano is Awesome...definitily the BEST in the World for the past 1/2yrs...

I actually met some fo the United players in 2007 when they went to Macau for the Asia Tour....got a few autogrphs n took a pic with a few of them...

This yr...even tho im a RED thru n thru...i met some of Chelsea's players, again when they came to Macau (Summer 2008) a lot of them are really really nice ppl...like JT, Lamps, Coley, Carvalho... wanted to meet Scolari...but didnt manage to do so... TT_TT

Oh...and i was on TV both summers LOLOLOLOL....when United came....i was interviewd like 4 times for TV (MUTV, TVB, TDM, GuanZouTV or smth like that...2 for Newspapers...1 for a magazine LOL)

i love football!!! and as a guy living in Manchester, I obviously go for ManU and have a soft spot for MarCi.
as a Korean, my favourite player is Park Ji Sung but my all time favourites are Roy Keane and Eric Cantona, both ManU heroes!

but to admit, CR7 is my fav #7 in MU after Becks XD it's not because his face but (to be honest) because his skill.. despite the fact that he's sometimes too arrogant but it isn't because nothing, he's talented..

there are too many good footballers, can't narrow them down.

most of the german national team players, but to narrow them down King Kahn when he was in Goal, Michael Ballack since he's the captain (hate him for going to Chelsea), Lukas Podolski because he just rocks, Schweinsteiger because he's awesome like Podolski, Miroslav Klose because his goal celebrations, but he's a very good forward.

Asian footy players: Inamoto (though his form has well declined, I have to say I still love him for his determination to keep trying), Yasuhito Endo (penalty kick specialist), Shunsuke Nakamura, Michihiro Yasuda and ermmm Park Ji Sung, for being the Asian thats been in a top flight club for a few years, but I haven't seen him play exactly a lot of games, he's not a regular starter, but I have to clap for him being in a top flight club.
