So there was a thread about girls who smoked. But since majority of this place is girls, I'd like to ask what you girls think of guys that smoke? Does it depend on how much they smoke or do you just hate/love guys that smoke period? Lets hear it.

Smoking is a huge turn-off. I don't want to die, and I certainly don't want the guy I like to die.

I don't like chain smokers. Smoking once inawhile if they really want/need to is fine with me.
It's not like i'll break up with them for smoking, but i'll try to tell them to cut down.
Cus my boyfriend smokes like atleast 8 a day
I can't really do anything about it though..
It's their decision to quit or not cus they ain't gon do it for nobody else but themselves.
& he said he's gonna quit by his 18th birthday, which is in november.
So i'm just hoping he's sticking to that.
But that's the case for cigs.


For weed, as long as they're not a pothead, it's okay.
Cus i've smoked up w/ my bf before & it's just whatever.

My bf is a smoker and I would like him to quit for his health, but I love him regardless. He treats me well and that matters more than his smoking.

I disagree with the weed. All toxins you put into your body is bad. I just think pothead sounds worse than smoker.

Smoking is a no no. I don't care what he's smoking, weed, cigarettes, a cheeto, I just really don't like smoking.
Gah~ I knew people who smoked nonstop and I seriously had the urge to slap them. Smoking makes me tear up and.. can't breathe.. So no no.

I went out with a guy and he told me later on he smoked.
I don't know why he told me because I didn't expect it at all.
Anyway I felt disappointed afterwards.
Such a wonder why we broke up =P

i always said that smoking was a major turn-off for me....lo and behold...i actually met a smoker i was attracted to.
but it didn't last...i still can't stand it.

My ex wasn't a heavy smoker, but he did smoke before. I was disappointed and told him to never smoke again. I don't think it's a good quality in a guy, or a girl for that matters. It's weird though. He HATES girl who smokes but he used to smoke too o_o; kind of contradicting.

It's a turn off for me, maybe because my dad smokes a whole lot.

But I wouldn't judge the guy completely just due to the fact that he smokes. Who knows, maybe he's the kind of guy that'll smoke less or even quit for a girl.

I don't want him smelling like cigarettes whenever I'm around him, or his clothes to smell like it too.

And besides, he's just slowly killing himself too, and if I'm around him a lot, I could put myself at risk for second hand smoke too.

I hate guys who smoke and if they were to smoke, I'd rather not date them and find somebody else. It's a huge turn off and that's that.

it is true casue weed is natrual (like its just a plant)...not something a with like a whole bunch of chemical.......also some doctor reccomend weed.........

but on the "Girls, Your Opinion On Guys That Smoke?".......i don't mind...unless u smoke around me then i have a problem...but i do know it helps keep ur never down and keep you relax so yea.....

i wouldn't like to date a guy who smokes. all i would think about is how it harms them.
maybe it's because both grandparents on my dad's side died from health issues related to smoking. i was young so i barely knew them, but i was sad i never had that chance to know them cause of smoking.

if i really liked someone who happened to smoke, i would probably date them anyway.




and constantly beg them to quit hahaha.
he'd probably break up with me for being annoying and asking them to quit before i break up with him for smoking in the first place. haha. so yeah i'd rather date somebody who does NOT smoke. =)

i dont let any of my boyfriends smoke. eventually they do it when we break up, but as of now.. my current bf used to smoke squares once in awhile.. now he doesnt anymore. he even asks me if he can lol! but i always say no.

my dad use to smoke, but after 5th grade watching that D.A.R.E program about smoking
it sadden/scared me that my dad could become one of those people who die early of lung cancer
or that hole in their throat, so i persuaded him everytime i see him smoke to not too.

yeah...i think it's a major turn off. I really can't stand the smell...i like start coughing and stuff i always have to hold my breath/cover my mouth/nose when i walk by someone that smokes.

I don't really like guys that smoke, however it wouldn't stop me from dating them. I'd just ease them out of the habit later on.

Of course I'm not going to judge or treat him differently because he smokes, but I'd much rather he didn't. My boyfriend quit smoking cigarettes for the most part but he still smokes a cigar every now and then... it's just so bad for your health and I really wouldn't want him doing such a thing to himself or anyone doing it to themselves for that matter.

I can't breathe when I smell smoke. I start hacking and coughing. It makes me nauseous and gives me headaches. Even if the guy isn't smoking, but he still smells like smoke from a cigarette he had hours ago ... I can't stand being around him.

So I guess it's safe to assume that my guy had better not smoke because I would not be able to touch him without feeling sickened, quite literally.

And I hate the act of smoking. I hate thinking about all the health risks because I remember pleading, crying for my dad to stop smoking after seeing this health commercials that warned the risks that come with smoking.

Guys who smoke are a huge turnoff. First off, they smell bad. XD
Second, they're ruining their lungs and slowing killing themselves internally. o__o
Third, if I actually hung around the guy for a long time, I'd enhale quite a bit of second hand smoke which would affect me as well.

I don't like it when guys smoke. But if I really like him and he does smoke, I'd still go out with him but he should know not to smoke before me. My ex smokes and at times he goes 'Are you disturbed by it? You want me to stop?' I'd say 'Yes I'm disturbed by it but it's not my decision for you to stop, I won't be the type to pester you cause it's your choice'
