Recommend "the green tea"(solleim is a nice jazzy song), "monla", "soulciety"... maybe you can try "slow jam" as well.
"Postino" is pretty good, but he's more to lounge music.
You can find the green tea's album in z-degrees
postino, slow jam, soulciety in http://ayulyn.livejournal.com/
can't remember where i got monla from... i think i also got it from z-degrees...

Unfortunately all the Korean jazz I've heard seemed very much like yuppie jazz, you know the kind I'm talking about, celebrating the white roots of the genre and ignoring the substantial contribution by, you know, black musicians. I could be talking about Korean hip-hop, but I am in fact talking about Korean jazz.
Thanks for the Recommendations! I liked green tea and monia the best!

Try Elevenses.
From the looks of it you're looking more for bossa nova than jazz. The Coffee Prince soundtrack actually has some pretty nice bossa nova tracks, try Mocha - Casker. You can find it here:

Clazziqaui and Casker are more electronica than bossa nova. I dont think i've heard a true bossa nova track from any korean artist as of well, maybe some bossa nova sampled or influenced but no real bossa nova tracks.
I think the best asian jazz that i've heard, comes from Japan, i'd love to hear some Korean bands though. Soulciety seems ok, a bit too mellow though.
Here are a few Japanese jazz bands that are good(most of these bands are acid jazz bands):
soil and pimp
jabberloop
sleepwalker
and then from there you'll have jazz based electronic groups like
4hero
Kyoto Jazz Massive
jazzanova
mark clive de lowe
united future organisation
Alot of these band memebers have solo projects

Clazziquai has jazzy influence, but definitely not a jazz group.
I don't know what kind of jazz you like (acid? vocal? swing? nu soul?) , but some jazz artists I know and like:
Instrumental: Pudding (love them, v. much recommended), John Nam-남경윤 (pianist), Danny Jung (saxophonist), Moida Band (모이다 밴드)
Band: The Cat House, Heritage
Female singer: Sorri (소히)
Male singer: er... I have no idea.

^Excellent input
Love 'Moida Band'.
What sort of neo-soul, neo-jazz, deep house, broken beat would you reccommend?

For deep house: Romantic Couch.
Nu-soul? Probably Slow Jam or Soulciety (I don't really like them, but I could think of nothing else).
Aquibird fits the nu-jazz category, I think. And pretty listenable too.

Yeah soulciety sounds a bit like try hard soul, more R&B than anything...
Any recommendations from other countries?
I recommend
Broken Beat: (if you havent heard of the genre, very smooth, groovy easy to listen to, you could describe it as lounge-esque but more upbeat, hints of jazz, nujazz, electronica, deep house,)
Silhoutte brown
bugz in the attic
IG culture
4hero
mark clive de lowe
Deep house:
miguel migs
lisa shaw
dj spinna
tortured soul
Camiel
cant think of any nu soul on the top of my head,
unless you would classify
peter hadar
dwele
isley brothers as nu soul

I'm quite taken with G-Swing (France), they have that swing/electronica feeling if you're into that.
I'm sure you're familiar with Nouvelle Vague (France) and Bliss (UK). I love them.
D'Sound (Norway). Acid jazz band. The singer is featured in Humming Urban Stereo's Space Loves Disco, which I absolutely love.
Maliq & D'Essential (Indonesia), nu-soul band.
Wow, I'm seriously out of the jazz loop. I can't think of anything else to recommend.
And thanks for the recs, will definitely check them out.
And to keep this on topic, 015B (공일오비) have some selections of jazzy songs but I don't think they fall into the jazz genre since some of their songs are straight pop/dance/hip-hop/whatever. I think they're more of an experimental group or whatever.
Anyway, if you could get your hands on their songs, get this one: 성냥팔이 소녀 (feat. Horan of Czq) - from their 7th album. This song is pure LOVE.
Wow! thanks for all these recs.! ^^
The jazz I really enjoy would be acid jazz,
and then electronic based jazz.
Also, I wanted the bands korean cuz' I thought it would help my korean skills.
But Im still likin jazzanova, sleepwalker, and Kyoto Jazz Massive ALOT~
BTW, I love 성냥팔이 소녀!!

Ah okay. Other Korean acid jazz stuff you might like: Daybreak, Urban Note, and Mogi.
And Jesus, how could I forgot one name: ROLLER COASTER.
Here's one of my favorite songs from Roller Coaster: www.sendspace.com/file/w500jpQUOTE
BTW, I love 성냥팔이 소녀!!
It really is a pretty song, isn't it? I have some much love for that song.

gah they have another album (Clazziquai)?
should try to get it soon. Looks like i'll have to take on these recommendations soon.
Casker's Skylab is a really smooth eclectic album with hints of jazz latin french electronica and lounge
Hmm, after searching for a few of your selections they seem to be rock bands... unless my searching skills are crap.
Jazz-wise, listen to Gilles peterson on bbc radio online. He plays soul, hip hop, jazz, latin, funk. Really excellent show. Though he tends to keep his shows themed (a specific show may be dedicated to issac hayes (soul singer) or to japanese jazz or to hip hop)

Roller Coaster is a great band, love "last scene".
I also liked Urban note's song 오늘 하루는.
Do you know of any Jazz that is dance oriented like:
Jazz-Dance beats
Pop-jazz
Also, I can't get enough of 성냥팔이 소녀! Are there any more songs that sound like it or near it?(please)
I know im asking alot^^lol

Daybreak, Urban Note, and Mogi, ROLLER COASTER.
Most if not all are rock bands... good rock bands, but not jazz.
at maru:
try these artists/songs:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGMtA6QHazQ...feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQvvrCn7kTw...feature=relatedfreetempo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-ZSQ6h0SLk...feature=related (highly recc. his album)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nff-2Jg0Fgo (would love to see them live)
astro bits (korea electronica artist)
postino
karen aoki
The only pop jazz i cant think of straight away are jabberloop and maybe soil and pimp.
Jazz-Dance wise, i think the closest you'd get is with a genre like... broken beat or some deep house ( im sure are more but i cant think of anything right now)
Look into modern and classic bossa nova artists, very jazz influenced and groovy genre (sergio mendes's 2 latest albums are ok)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gn-51U3oh9Mhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UA4GmytsuUSabrina Malheiros
EDIT:
fourplay and earl klugh are great smooth jazz artists
as is yoshiko kishino (search for japanese pianists, jazz pianists tend to not disappoint)
DJ Cam is a french dj who mixes jazz with hip hop, very smooth stuff

Daybreak, Urban Note, and Mogi, ROLLER COASTER.

Daybreak is pretty rock-ish, so you got that one right. Sorry.
But Roller Coaster, Urban Note, and Mogi are jazz bands. Specifically for Roller Coaster, yes some rock influence, but overall still acid, still jazz.
I can't think of anything else that sounds similar to 성냥팔이 소녀, but my bb Horan did another side project in Listen Campaign digital album (released a few days ago). Her song called Listen to My Heart and it's
really good.

I'm not very good at categorising music, but according to a few sites, 써드코스트 (3rd Coast) is considered electro-jazz.
Edit: You might also like 바이닐스 (Vinyls), 하우스 룰즈 (House Rulez), and 미씽 아일랜드 (Missing Island).

Loved the album, more of an example of a traditional slower jazz band, which is harder to find in asian jazz, they tend tend to be more upbeat like soil and pimp.

i would much prefer if i can purchase the disc. with your offer to upload ... umm ... not too sure if it's against forum rules to publicise that information. i'll leave it up to you whether you're comfortable in sharing that information. thanks.
EDIT: i found this
