My mother loves to listen to music by Rick Springfield, Cory Hart and The Pretenders. And my father listens to Cantonese singers Liza Wang and Adam Cheng.

My father: Classic rock, metal, alternative, southern rock, hair bands, ect
My mother: Soul, Neon-soul, funk, R&B

But both tend to surprise me. Like how my dad loves Kool and the Gang, and my mom loves Stone Temple Pilots. I guess thats where I got my random taste in music.

My mom is pretty open to music, she usually listens to what I listen to. But she also likes older Chinese singers. My dad listens to the radio with me when we're in the car together, he also listens to a lot of Chinese music.
