It all started out in 6th grade when I came across Dir en Grey's Umbrella song at a lonely website I stumbled upon while surfing the web. (ahh...youth).

I think it was X JAPAN's Tears. I loved that song, but it wasn't exactly the reason why I became a jrock fan. Still, I love this song now and then. ^_^

Well, if it's considered Jrock, I got Gackt's "Sekiray" first. That led to MALICE MIZER's "Le ciel" (single version) which really kicked off my Jrock fandom.

That was back Freshman year of high school in.... late 2001. I'm so old. ;___;

Shunkashuutou by alice nine. was my first j-rock song i heard ever. then it was their song velvet that truly hooked me in.

Hmm, I remember it was 2 years back when my friend and this girl were talking about jrock and Alice Nine so I went home and typed in Alice nine on youtube and listened to Fantasy or Akatsuki...

It was probably a L'arc en Ciel song.

(: But I believe before these songs I also heard much other J-rock songs. Just can't remember them. And weren't into that much for J-rock at that time so yeahh.

If we're talking about very first song it would be Birdcage by Gackt, but the song that truly got me hooked was Reila by the Gazette about a year or so later

Kinda had an on/off love with Jrock when I was first introduced to it by a friend

Then I started loving the mix of Jrock and metal. I decided to search up a whole list of Jrock & Visual Kei artists. That started my whole interest of Jrock.

I don't think I will ever dislike that song.

i can't really remember...but i think it was Miyavi - Senor Senora Senorita not sure :/ but i know that it was one of Miyavi's songs
but that song wasnt the one that got me interested in jrock...
so i didnt completely listen to jrock until i heard Gazette - Filth in Beauty (or was it Gazette - Regret?) and i've been listening to jrock since then xD
