i remember i'd always sing that whenever i'd go yum cha.

i f****** LOOOOOOVEEEE 芋角 on the menu they're fried芋角, yes yeet hei and sometimes not so well done if the oil is old or if they're refried. Fresh and well made are sooo yummy the first thing i always call on the menu down Chinatown xD

i usually dont like taro but 芋頭角is pretty good! I never had it when i lived in Taiwan but when I came to Canada, I went into a phase where i'd have 4 orders of these+ other dim sum in one sittering

those are so good, but extremely unhealthy. I indulge once in a while, hehe...but it's the perfect combination of textures: a melt-in-your-mouth crisp,airy exterior encasing an unctuous mixture of taro and meat. Mmmmm

wow mostly people who posted here LOVES that, i actually never heard of taro dumpling.
because i haven't been focusing on asian foods, more of american fast foods.

maybe my taste is not suitable for "oriental" foods just yet. maybe when i grew older with
different taste bud? cause i started to enjoy celeries and broccolis, when i hated them before.


dang i wonder if i will end up eating oriental foods such as these in the future!

omg, one of my fav things to eat at dim sum. too bad the closest dim sum is 2 hours away from my campus D= NOOOOOooo. I love nibbling on the crust because it's so flaky and yummylicious. But alas, it's so unhealthy....


Oh, and for somebody on the second page that asked what taro was---it's a root, a veggie that's closely related to the yam
