I just tried pinkberry for the first time last weekend and it was actually pretty good.
What bothers me though is that there are SO MANY yogurt places now that are basically the same (name/products/etc), i mean i love it but some are just complete imitations and the name right off the bat you can tell pinkberry-kiwiberry.
Pinkberry, The Yogurt bar, Cherry on top, Yogurtful, Tutti Frutti, Kiwiberry, Cefiore, Yogurtland are a few places that i can think of right now.
What are other frozen yogurt places that you know about?

In Canada there's a frozen yogourt place called Yogen Fruz... it's funny that you mention this because all the Yogen Fruz's used to have their own signature look, but recently I noticed that all the ads, exterior designs and menu's have changed drastically to look more like Pinkberry's. I think all frozen yogourt places are trying to chatch onto the pinkberry trail since it's so poppular with young hollywood and it's a total trend right now

I have yet to go to yogurtland. I don't think there's a pinkberry around san jose is there?

Red Mango. We don't have Pinkberry in Hawaii but we have Cefiore and Yogurtland

I've never been to Pinkberry, but I LOVE Yogen Fruz! We don't have it where I live though, I miss it. :'(

There's no pinkberry to be found where i live.
As a nice subsitute, we got to a froyo place called tuttimelon.
it's really not bad.. and its only like $2 for a small with a topping.

Where I live there are 4 places haha
Yogomo, Silverspoon (which are both really good and cheap), blue cherry, and nubi. edit i forgot pingos haha
There's ce fiore around too.

around here we have a golden spoon LOLS it tastes more like ice cream than yogurt though .__.

We have two Cefiores here. And we have a place called Fruit Island, which, I think is way better because they have more flavors and it's self-serve with way more toppings.

The only Fro-yo place I know of where I live (Portland, OR) is Red Mango~

I was so confused when I went to Manhattan a couple of weeks ago and I was looking for Pinkberry but I think I saw Red Mango and Cherry On Top there also. Pinkberry was really packed. I loved Pinkberry's green tea smoothie but I prefer the Originals like TCBY. I miss that when I was growing up in California & now here in TN we don't have any frozen yogurt place =[ .. Not in the town that I live in.

theres NONE in toronto besides yogenfruz which isnt even self served..!
i was in the states and i tried YogurtLand and i fell in love with frozen yogurt but too bad i cant have the same thing over here T________T

there's also a local place called fraiche where i live; it's sooo crowded all the time haha

Hmm It seems like there are a few of you here that live around the same area as me Around where I live, there's tons of new yogurt shops sprouting everywhere. It began with Peach House, then Pingos, Blue Cherry (which totally sucks ), Nubis, and like a million and one more! Yogurt is just being so trendy now but I think it's such a bad tactic for some of these yogurt owners to put their yogurt shop in the same area as others. Like there is this street where there is literally like 3 yogurt shops on the same block.

And my brother also owns a yogurt shop But not where I live, he owns one in riverside. It used to be called Swirl but because of some crap that happened he had to change it so now it's called Mumbles. Any UCR students here or Riverside residents that went there? :]

I love this kind of frozen yogurt too. I have to say I like the original flavor the best, especially from pinkberry. Other places I have heard of are: yogomo, ripalliae, & Nubi. I quite like Nubi yogurt. It's like yogurt land but less sweet. Their quality seems better and flavors are tasty. Its more expensive and watery though.

I've recently becomed obsessed with YOGURTLAND (like the 1st asian frozen yogurt place here)
it's sooo yummy TT______TT and i just load up on all the toppings!
It's not very expensive, either

in atlanta, there is:
yoforia, yogoday, yogurbelle, etc. etc.
i like em all

i heard red mango is the 'original'? the one that first started in korea but pinkberry was established here first? and isnt pinkberry bought by starbucks now.

haha, and theres this place called rosegreen which used to be called roseberry but they almost got sued by pinkberry for copying their name so they had to change it. so for a while all their cups had stickers that blocked the name roseberry or sometimes just the berry part. pretty bootleg :]

golden spoon's really good though, they have so many different flavors rather than just original, green tea, coffee. they have pretty weird flavors like cake batter and cookies n' cream. i thought it was just a ice cream store but the cookies n' cream had no cookie chunks but still tasted the same. and they give you A LOT without the hole in the middle

Frozen yogurt places are suddenly appearing all over Seattle! Just Red Mango, Tutti Frutti, and Utopia have been recently opened around Seattle. I bet there's going to be more places though...

To be frank we don't have alot of creative frozen yogurt places in Canada. I'm envious of the states.

in southern california, we have a place called yogurtworld that opened up earlier this year. [I think]
it's really good~ and it's 36 cents per oz. o.o [which isn't much. xD]
I remember my friend, who bought a lot of ice cream from yogurtworld cause he didn't think 36 cents would go a long way, but he ended up paying 12$ for his frozen yogurt. xD

theres only yogen fruz in toronto, but when i was in nyc last week i had pinkberry and it was sooo much better compared to yogenfruz the fruits were so fresh! and the green tea was SO GOOD!

THey don't have things like this here unfortunately.

In Toronto we only have Yogen Fruz too, but I heard that a Frozen yogurt shop from California is coming.
It's called Cefiore, and its near Spadina and Bloor.
Wonder if its open yet?

The first frozen yogurt place I went to was Yozen Frogurt. It's pretty expensive. I go to this one in a mall called YogurTree. It's one of those self-serve places. They give me an employee discount because I work in the mall. Yay! There's also a Yogurt Cinema. There's a Pinkberry and another place in a different mall close to my house.

i live in vegas and the ones i know of are
red mango, yogurtland, orange pearl, queens (trash) not good at all
i probably eat at red mango the most since its across from school

haha there's mostly pinkberry and red mango in nyc. but recently a yoberry opened up (they have one in boston too). it's sort of funny because wherever there's a pinkberry, red mango is usually across the street >_>

Nubi is only in Focus plaza right? lol
