Personally, I wouldn't put such a huge emphasis on weight. I'd rather SEE the results than see the numbers on a scale going down. Just take pictures and be conscious of where you're at. Look at yourself in the mirror and see which areas seem to be slimming down. Just be aware of your body.

the reason reason you don't lose weight is because you're building
muscle at the same time, which weighs more then fat smile.gif
So that is why you look thinner but don't weigh less.

Oh I see. Haha, thanks. Now I understand. xD
But wait, okay this might be a silly question. >___<
But if muscle weighs MORE than fat, how come you aren't gaining weight? o______0

And another thing. I did this for the first time last night.
Only one level, I was expecting my back to be sore in the morning.
But instead my legs were sore and they still are sore, so it has been sore for like the whole day..
Is that normal? Did this happen to any of you guys? Or am I just doing the exercising wrong? o____0

Why did you expect your back to be sore? huh.gif My legs were the worst. It's normal. It's cause your body isn't used to you exercising. It was really bad for me. I couldn't even walk down the stairs it hurt so bad. Even right after I worked out I felt like my legs were gonna give out. I almost literally couldn't walk. Especially since I did 2 lvls a day but you know what? The next day I just went right back to exercising and it HELPS. Your muscles are sore and you feel like you're gonna die but while you're exercising it doesn't hurt. You're building your muscles by putting strain on it so that it'll grow stronger so it can take it.

So even though it's sore don't give up. Honestly I felt like the times I was least sore was when I was working out. Now after doing this for 6 days you'll see a HUGE difference. I used to huff and puff while walking to work and just walking up 2 flights of stairs. Not anymore! smile.gif

These days i'm starting to like strength training over cardio. I feel my heart rate go up when i'm doing the strength exercises over cardio. No joke.

I have no clue. o______0 Haha, I just guessed it would hurt the most. >___< Oh okay, I thought I was doing it wrong or something. xD Yeah, I was thinking about not doing it today but then I read your post . Yeah, you are right. Excercising more did help. Haha, it didn't hurt as much as I expected it too. But on some parts of the exercises hurt my legs. Haha. But I'll probably get used to it. (:

Six day...I can't wait. I wanna see the difference, I don't like huffing and puffing while excersising. xD Haha.

I'm still doing level one...when should I start level two? Just whenever? o_____0

Well I think it's really up to you when you want to start lvl 2. You can just do each lvl 10 days each or you can move right onto lvl 2 when you feel like lvl 1 isn't working you hard enough anymore.

I'm glad you worked out today. smile.gif Don't forget, I always count my days that I actually exercise so that means I don't count my rest days. Try to stay consistent. It's only like 25 mins of your time right? happy.gif Good luck!

FIRST DAY TODAY !

after completing level one, i was dripping sweat, and i was out of breath. and i felt like puking for short period of time.
but that was exhilarating, and i think its gonna work. i'm gonna try to keep at it. I think my arms are gonna be sore though since i already normally work out my legs. the abs workout wasn't that bad.

i hope this will truly work !

no pain no gain ~ ;D

my second day of this workout

Hahah yeah it's hard to believe that 20 minutes of working out can make you that way huh? Keep at it! I use 2lbs as well rofl. They're ones that my mom bought when she was doing yoga or whatever it was she was doing. I was just thinking to myself today that I need to get heavier weights. What a coincidence. Lol.
SUPER.NANA
i need help, the first download link won't download for me and the megaupload that is all combined won't play on my computer because it doesn't have media rights.

Anyone care to help reupload either the combined or separated ones please?
___l0vE`y0u..
I was wondering are we suppose to do each level for 10 days? so then within thirty days then we'd be done all three levels? ;D

Pretty much or I think you can always switch it up. As long as you exercise I don't see why it wouldn't hurt to do like lvl 1 for like 5 days and jump right into lvl 2 and go 10 and lvl 3 15. I guess it's really up to you but after 10 days of lvl 1 i'd move onto lvl 2.

can a guy/male do this kind of excercise and still lose weight?

Sure you can. Personally if it's just to lose weight this is good but if you want to lose the weight and bulk up i'd go P90x. I've seen a lot of stuff on forums where guys tried this workout thinking it'd be a piece of cake but boy were they wrong. Lol.

Damn, I just finished my first time working out to this DVD and I'm shaking like crazy. Talk about it's been awhile since working out, but I think this is the best workout DVD I've tried yet.
ladyyehse
i'm using five pound weights and omg it burns. but i've been able to keep up with the arm exercises. the squats however, are killing me.

i think this will work :]
miarin
Can someone re-upload part 1 please? I already downloaded the rest of the parts, its only this part and the full video (on page 2) that are not working for me.
cin203
dumb question...but for people who tried it, does it slim down your legs and thighs? I've been trying to get skinnier legs and thighs and I'm hoping these videos will help me. I don't want to end up building more muscles cuz i heard that people who try to slim down their legs end up building more muscles =(

Is it normal if I am on Day 6 of this video (at level 1)
and I am still sweating my butt off? o_o

I would think by my 6th day I would be used to it by now sleep.gif

Honestly? thats a good thing because its different for everyone, for me I struggled to get into level 2 for about a week , but then again I am not really heavy too, so thats what makes it different. & plus. it doesnt matter how long you stay for level one, as long as you work hard and sweat your butt off excercising, then its all worth it. Just take your pace (:
MarsReiko
This might be a silly question..but are you suppose to do this EVERY day? I know some exercise plans have you working out every other day or 5 days out of the week...

I think it's more up to you. You should ATLEAST do it 3 times a week but i'd do it more since it's ONLY like 25 mins. I did it for 5 days a week. I wanted to do 6 but yeah.

I love this workout. I broke into a sweat 10 minutes in. xD

I was gonna download it, but then I found it on youtube so I just watched it there. o_o

Edit (o6/o7/o9): I did the workout yesterday, but I'm still tired and sore today. So yes, it does work. xD
cin203
I did this workout for two days and I was madd tired from only level one..lol.

To people who want slimmer legs and thighs, this would not be the workout video for you. I've been wanting slimmer legs and I wasn't sure if this workout video would do that for me or will it end up building up for muscles. Since no one was able to answer the question I asked few days ago, I decided to research this. I read reviews that many women ended up getting big thighs, calves, legs...which is NOT a BAD thing if you want to be toned. But if you want to slim down your legs, then I suggest not to do this exercise. I wish I can continue this workout video because I find that it works really well. I love the exercises for the abs and Jillian really keeps me going. She's INTENSE lol. But I have to stop now cuz I don't want to end up building bulky legs =( Hopefully I can find a good pilate/yoga video =)

Good luck to everyone who's gonna try this workout!

My boyfriend want to tone his body so that he can get more definition, would this program work for him? He's not trying to lose weight (he's already pretty skinny) just clean cut line instead of big bulky muscle. IF this video won't work for him, does anyone know which one will?

Maybe he should try the p90x and just stop when he gets to where he wants to be.

i didnt like her videos--i do like the biggest loser bootcamp tho--kicked my butt tongue.gif
Eja
Tried this once, and it really pushed me to the limit. It's just so intense but this is a great work out video.
dazzleanddestroy
i switch between my workouts with turbo jam, yoga, p90, and this. i'm loving jillian michaels workout =) i do 1 lvl, and after that, i head out and jog for a good 30 minutes, followed by some yoga moves cooldown.
ladyyehse
so i'm on today was day 16 ! level 2 still kicks my ass, and i hardly seriously complete everything cause i take quite a few 5 second breaks haha.

well, i see some change. my stomach is flatter, and my arms look slimmer, i just don't wanna have a wider upper body :[ i already have wide shoulders, so i don't wanna make them even wider. my thighs are slimming down so thats a good thing biggrin.gif

i'm actually gonna keep at this, and hopefully i'll lose all my fat !

i still didn't really lose any weight though. probably cause i gained muscle D:
heineken.
thanks for this! I sooo needed an exercise vid! =)
maritadott
I have used this video all week, a half hour a day+ a half hour with other workouts..and I have lost 1 kg in 7 days..so..fantastic! =D
miarin
I just did this exercise and it killlllssssssss!!!! My heart was beating so fast I though I was gonna have a heart attack..and it took about 10-15 minutes for my heart rate to go back down to normal.....I think I might build up my fitness level by using turbo jam and then I will switch back to this smile.gif thank you for the files biggrin.gif:D
car_shrimp.
I've done this workout for 10 days now and i really think that my stomach is getting flatter! Def a good workout!
chdairkld
I'm on day 3....feeling the burn. Level one kicks my butt lol. I believe this will work and at the least my heart will feel healthier!

For those of you who have physical results, can you me tell if you have changed your diet dramatically? It's hard for me because I do not eat healthy....I know the smart choice is to eat less and more healthy but diets aren't something I do well. But if I hear your eating habits perhaps I'll be more inspired. Thanks!
omgitsvivianx3
I tried it tongue.gif & omg ... its hard :x maybe cos i just have a bad body .
i died in between of the video & i take like 2-5 minutes rest then continue .
at the end ohmy.gif i just fall asleep.
happy.life
I'm still on level one and i do it every few days. Prob. done it about six times. It's still pretty hard, maybe cause i skip days? But she's very motivating and she pushes you to finish the workout haha biggrin.gif. Better than the other workout videos I've tried. This dvd really gives me a good sweat and I'm really tired afterwards. I've started to notice muscles on my thighs. I do it on and off though :/ gets boring for me sometimes.
tofulovesnugget
i have level 1~ but havent watched it yet.
Is level 2 on the same vdeo? Or do i have to dl another one?

Hmm, sounds interesting (: I'm going to try this. Thanks so much for sharing! <3

holy crap this looks intense. i just finished downloading everything & i'm planning to this this first thing tomorrow...im a little scared o__o
raspberrii
My first try today. I used to be a strict treadmill user and did around 2 hour speedwalking sessions (or powerwalking, whatever it is called, and yes, I know that sounds dorky...) but the amount of perspiration that was the product of this video (only number 1, nonetheless) was equal to 2 hours on the treadmill, if not more. The video really includes many of the components I was missing from my exercising plan in an easy way (I tried 8 minute abs but found it hard to commit T.T;)

I can't say if I can commit to it at the moment but will try to update later, maybe in a week

I think I'll try to include yoga, too...we'll see how that goes too...
i_like_pho
Thank you so much for the download links. I really really appreciate it.

Since so many of you guys combine the 30 Day Shred with pilates and/or yoga to tone and slim down your thighs & legs rather than bulking them up, can you recommend any good pilates or yoga workout? Especially one that is easily accessible, ie, on Youtube or download links.

Thanks :]
luven-you
thank you so much for the links! i'm going to give this a try. gotta get rid of the stomach fat, haha.

i've been doing this for about almost 2 weeks but the thing is i haven't lost any weight , but i've seen how my legs are getting skinnier but its the weight that counts right?

Sorry, I can't answer your question since I'm not an expert.
I think losing inches and finally fitting into the jeans that was way too tight 2-3 weeks ago is more fulfilling than losing a pound or 2 on the scale.
The scale can disappoint us sometimes that's why I rely more on the mirror and my clothes.
