Once, I had to go sit in the principal's office all morning because apparently i came to school too early ....


Another time, i had to write a 4 page essay and miss a few lunches because my friend was talking. My friend got off scot-free so i complained and the teacher told me i was inciting the disruption and gave me 2 more pages to write.

In 5th grade, during lunch recess, I went to the library. Well, I went there everyday during lunch recess to finish my homework. Around 50 other people always went there too, so I left my papers and backpack there on the table to go to the restroom (it was really close) but when I came back like 2 minutes later, the librarian yelled at me for cheating. I was clueless, but my homework was gone. The librarian said that I let two other people copy me and she was going to call my teacher (who eventually gave me a long lecture on HOW I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO CHEAT OFF OTHER PEOPLE, WHATTT). But I didn't. So that's how I got my first and only behavior slip In elementary school, we had to sit near the poles during recess as punishment..

I was having issues with my counselor back in freshman year of high school. She was biased and assumed I had ditched class when I obviously never. Therefore, she sent me off to afterschool detention. Luckily, I was let off by the man in charge because he found the reason absolutely ridiculous.

I got detention cuz I was talkin' to loud(but I didn't ), even tho there's no rule about not being allowed to talk loud, guess teacher did get her beauty sleep I needed to help wit school launches & stay after school for two more peridos writing an essay about my behaviour!

&& another one; me and my friends had to talk wit principal in her office cuz we played music through school speaker went down to multipurpose area and danced. when we had free periods. But I guess that one was fair!

I seemed to keep missing my 3rd hour class my senior year in high school and they got me for it. Go figure.

Most ridiculous would probably be tipping a port-a-potty in 8th grade with my friends... we were all hemmed up for that one for about a week.

In 6th grade, my teacher took the class to the restrooms. She wanted everyone to be quiet and not talk. I was thirsty so I went up to her and asked if I could have a drink of water. She EXPLODED on me and gave me detention for talking when I wasn't supposed to.

WTF?? I asked her directly! It's not like I'm talking and goofing off in the hall >>

Before all that, this kid was talking to someone else right in front of her face, and she didn't do anything. Ugh.

in tenth grade I went to detention because I was asking for my pencil back from another person who took it as a joke, and she was playing with it whatever, and I asked for it back. but the teacher didn't give a crap, totally pissed me off.

but my friend's class, most of them got sent to detention for throwing away their old worksheets and not keeping them.
it was so dumb.

When I was in 8th grade I asked my teacher to go to the bathroom and right when I step out the door the dean comes by and just yells at me detention. -___-

In first grade, I was helping my friend with her classwork and my teacher got mad somehow.

for not putting the pencil down in time when the teacher told us to, not because it was a timed test or something but because she wanted us to >.< gah I hate her, my 6th grade teacher was a pencil nazi.

In elementary school, we had "monitors" that would watch the class while the teacher was away for a couple of minutes. Basically they would write people's name on the board (who talked or misbehaved) The girl wrote my name because I said "bless you" because someone sneezed

I got detention last year in grade 10 for being late for English class by 1 minute and i had to stay there for and hour after school, which was TOTALLY pointless.

Back in fourth grade, when I was asked by my teacher Mr. Chum, what was the place value of 0, in 1,000.
I was very shy, and I don't like to speak.

It was 1 second pass, no answer
2 seconds pass, no answer

then suddenly 30 seconds
I begin to start to sweat, and just panick when all the little students stared back at me. I could hear them whisper, "Is she stupid?" "Don't you know how to talk?"

He took my silent treatment as not paying attention and following directions.

I got 10 minute afterschool.

I got detention one time for going to the bathroom during lunch while the superior was talking.
And then in 6th grade, I got detention cause I went up during lunch period to help my teacher and then the vice principle saw me and was like "where's your pass?!" and I'm like "it's here. *show it to her*." -- "this is fake! Go to the principle office." My teacher got fed up and then went to talk to the principle and went through a whole commotion. T.T

back in high school i remember i got morning detention where you have to come to school by 7 am and stay in counselours office for having my earphones out

doesnt seem to be very ridiculous. if i was your teacher, i wouldve thought the same.
