If Park Jin Young’s songs are good enough for Will Smith, Mase and Cassie, then the Asian Soul sure is good enough for SMAP. J-pop’s “best selling group ever” has included the song writing skills of JYP in their new album, [Super.Modern.Artistic.Performance] which drops on 9.24.

For coherence sake, SMAP also has contributing to the album, Will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas) and Burt Bacharach (legendary composer of classics such as “What the world needs now” and “Raindrops keep falling on my head”). These song writers are coming from three different planets!

One might guess that the Super refers to Burt Bacharach, Modern refers to JYP, and Artistic has to be Will.i.am but your guess is as good as mine.

I'm surprised JYP didn't stick in the "JYP! asian soul!" thing in.. I'm glad. it gets so annoying and ruins the songs for me. ugh. I like JYP's songs but he needs to stop doing that. he's probably trying ot make it a trademark but it's sooo annoying

But I wish the song was more in Japanese instead. SMAP's English is awful - with the exception of Kimutaku - so the song would sound better in 100% Japanese, imo.
