Blake is actually praised for her acting?

I voted for Blair just because I don't like the way Blake Lively (serena) acts.

blair is definitely more interesting.

I've finally watched this show and it's as bad as I thought it would be. but what I don't get is why all the guys look like crazy, stalking, rapists?
now back to the girls. they're both queen Bs, so.......

Blake's acting is better? I thought that her acting is horrible along with her nasal monotone voice and the same smile she has on her face in every scene.
And I'm sure a lot of people agree witht hat.
She's a pretty girl, but I think she's more famous for her typical blonde look.



I like blair simply because I find her character very interesting and different. Of course sshe's not someone I'd wanna be friends with in real life. That's suicide. lol.

bbbblair. serena is just tries too hard to be nice, while balir is the opposite..she IS nice but acts really b!tchy and mean. theres just something about blair tht makes me always side with her.

i guess Blair is the lesser of 2 evils since it was Serena who started the whole war by sleeping with Nate in the first place. i did felt a bit sympathetic for her when she said that she's tired for holding herself back for blair though...

eventhough blair's a pinkberry, there's a vulneralbility about her that people can relate with.

that said, i'm loving serena this season though, haha. she was just painfully boring to watch in season 1

In the books; Serena.
In the tv series; Blair.

I loved Selena ... when she was with Dan. She was so much more lovable, understanding, and supportive. However, what annoyed me the most was that she felt she needed to keep secrets from Dan in order to "protect" him and not have him judge her. Fyi, lying is never the way to go. I wish she didn't do that about the whole Georgina thing because right now, they would probably still be together. In this season, after their bitter breakup, although it's only been one episode, I'm starting to dislike her. Okay, she's kept herself away from the limelight in order to not overshadow her friend, but her comment was totally unnecessary. Like Blair, she should've just forgiven and moved on.

As for Blair, I totally hated her last season because she found every chance to try to sabotage Selena, but no matter what, she was still human. She was able to be understanding when her friend needed her, and cunning when she had to deal with evil witches like Georgina. However, this season, she's become a bit more likeable to me.

Both characters have their faults because after all, they are human. I really hope their friendship does not stay bitter for a long time because I actually like seeing them happy with one another.

At first I like Serena, but as I watched 1st season, I found out that I like Blair more than Serena... I like her personality... Go Blair... hehehehe...

Serena is such a mini cooper. OMG, sorry but it rhymes.

serena isn't trying to steal the throne.
i don't recall her fighting for it or anything.
everyone just flocked to her without her even asking.
it's not her fault she gets everything she wants and blair doesnt.

In the book I love love love Serena.
On the show I love Blair ten times more.
I honestly don't think Serena is very well portrayed by Blake Lively.

i thought serena was gonna be beautiful, like in the book. personally i liked the blond model in the latter books. i was like "wooow if they showed her eyes, i bet she would be really pretty." XD blake is kinda mannish and her "acting" is just...kissing penn badgley all the time and saying "i know i know".

blair all the wayyy.. although she does get on my nerves at times

blair is just too funny and immature in her own way. It's adorable watching her throw a fit and saying stuff like 'i have to go to my room to scheme' or 'i won't deny the ducks their dinner, but if you look like you're enjoying even a moment of it...'
she's just got a little bratty shell, but she's really sweet inside.
And in the end, she's always there for her friends. She almost helped Nate out of his whole issues with the cougar woman and his dad's felony. She got to Georgina to save Serena. She let Jenny stay over at her house on thanksgiving when she saw her crying. She was about to keep Aaron's gay life as a secret until Aaron said it was ok to tell ppl.
Serena slept with Nate, stole the spotlight from blair (which was the only thing that blair ever really had over serena), told Dan about blair's pregnancy life (in my opinion, those types of secrets should just be between best friends and never told to boyfriends since it's none of the friend's boyfriend's business), and Serena ALWAYS puts boys before Blair.
She ditched Blair too many times for her current bf and Dan.

I like Blair so my vote goes to Blair
She worked hard to get whatever she wants.
While Serena get anything easily T^T

yeah she's immature, self-absorbed and a big pinkberry but she owns up to it. But she can also be sweet, loveable, fiercely loyal and an absolute great friend. She's well rounded and completely relateable. Lets not forget absolutely beautiful and witty. Also I love her lines!!!

I like their character for different reasons- Blair is hysterical and Serena has great style- i would love love love to have her clothes.

Serena. LOL i was surprised at the outcome. this is so far/ hafnt seen all the eps yet. but I like Serena's voice=P and style~ find her relaxed and down to earth. most of the time. Blair is cute and i like her clothes too.

From all that I've watched, I choose Blair. I haven't watched Gossip Girl in so long though.

Blair, despite her scheming ways, when Serena got into her queen B mode, I felt like she was three times as bad as Blair.
I don't know, at least Blair knows and admits that she's a scheming pinkberry.
I like Serena too though.

Blair is so interesting and has so many sides to her.
The reason she's better than Serena:
Serena is extremely boring.

i've always like her from the start

I like Serena a bit more. Someone has to root for her. Although she may not be as loyal as Blair (she flakes out on Blair a lot), she's genuinely nice and has a good heart. She does not treat someone badly unless its personal. Blair on the other hand, treat almost everyone like crap, even if they did absolutely nothing to her. Another thing; I always wondered why Blair treated Jenny like dirt, even before that falling out they had. Jenny was loyal, worked extra hard to be in the in-crowd, told her about Nate still liking Serena, and did well with the truth-and-dare at the slumber party. Even passing through all those hoops and showing her loyalty to Blair, she still wasn't good enough. If anything, Blair and Jenny should be best friends, not Serena, who "takes everything" from her.

On IMDB, it seems that a lot of people like Blair more just because she's better looking. I wondered if Serena was the better looking one, Blair would just be seen as a desperate scheming witch with self esteem issues. Who knows.

BLAIR! i'm a total blair fangirl! I love her. Even though she acts like a total B* I still think that she's the most loyal friend. Blair seriously does everything "behind the scenes" for Serena. And I love her sassy attitude and her clothes =) I normally hate headbands but I only like them now because Blair wears them. I mean I would never be caught dead wearing one, since I'm not fond of them and those big frilly-ridiculously huge bows but I think Leighton Meester pulls them off extremely well.

I do like Serena as well. But Blair is definitely my favorite, i think it's because she's just the funniest pinkberry lol! Blake Lively isn't as pretty but for some reason I LOVE the way she talks. I know a lot of people find it annoying but I love how she talks in that "mushy" way haha. I think it's cute. But I really like Serena as well because I find her to be genuinely kind. She seems to take everyone for who they are and just accepts them and tries to be close to them regardless of their social status. Unlike Blair who isn't very open to the "poor" lol! haha but that's why I like blair, because she's mean but she takes care of those that she truly cares about.

She's just so much fun and so IN CHARGE of everything. I love strong female protagonists and Blair DEFINITELY delivers =)

I do love both, but I'll say Blair because I love her sassy, biatchy attitude that she has and how she portrays herself. She's just pretty and seductive, I kinda like that style.
