oh god don't even be embarrassed. i'm 23, a film student, and the barbie films are my absolute guilty pleasure! i have all of them except for the fairytopia series (yes, i even have the barbie diaries though it was pretty lame). my favorites so far are the nutcracker, the princess and the pauper, and the 12 dancing princesses. i just got barbie and the diamond castle, and i totally love it, too. the songs are awesome. the only thing is i don't understand why liana and alexa didn't end up with the twin boys. or maybe they will eventually. but yeah, when i was a kid i LOVED the disney princess films, but we all know that they kinda disappeared after the new millennium. so for me, the barbie films kinda replaced the disney princesses. the animation is pretty good (and it gets better every time), the stories are cute, and i like that they incorporate dances, songs, and fairy tale elements in the films. yeah, my friends would absolutely crucify me if they ever found out, but to be honest i don't think i'll give them up anytime soon.

oh didnt the twins in diamond castle remind u of fred and george from Harry potter??? they totally did!! and they were such pimps!! yea i really like how they now have alexa, or teresa in the movies, because i guess they need more variety.. it'd be cool if they had kira (asian barbie) feature in future films!
i also love luciana from island princes lolll she was so sweet.

My favorite Barbie was always Teresa so I liked seeing the diamond castle movie!! ^^

I was watching it with my mom and she was making fun of it! >____< But it was so corny sometimes, but I stilled like it.

If I see them on, then I just have to watch them. They're so cute, and I actually like the animation.

i own the nutcracker one, cause well im obsessed with the nutcracker, but still it was really good!

I saw the nutcracker one 3 times in a row because the little girl I was babysitting liked it so much, lol. Anyway, I didn't like the movie too much haha.
