I got a letter from my service provider saying that I'm eligable for a free upgrade to either the curve or the pearl.

I'd like your input on which is better? Functionality wise, design/attributes, and some pros and cons of each model.

If you're into txting, get the Curve, and if you're not too much into txting, the pearl will do you fine.

I got the blackberry and I love it, i mean SUURE its a lil bit bulkier but I don't mind it, BIGGER SCREEN, BRIGHTER SCREEN, bigger keyboard, the bigger it is the more features it has, mine has GPS and wifi. woot woot!

get the curve. The pearl is so small. Its hard to text on.

The blackberry pearl [silver/telus] lags sometimes for me
most of the time for pictures like it works normally most of time
but sometimes when i move with the camera and stuff it like lags after the picture is taken so yah

except for this one store, but all they had were pearls.

so im stuck with a pearl. so far so good
i just need to get used to the keypad. its tiny >__<

If you really don't like it, you can sell your pearl on ebay and then spend a little extra for the curve.

I've tried my cousin's curve sooo good.
If you are a texter then go for the curve.
If not you can go with the pearl if you prefer something smaller. I think it's cute. Especially the red one, I tried texting on my friend's phone and it was pretty ohkay too.

I love my BlackBerry Curve.. Maybe because I spend most of my time texting which is better and easier with the curve.

i know this is an old thread but i just wanted some advice too haha. i have the same dilemma.

i am only getting the pearl or curve because i can play music on it and take pictures and text/call
however the only difference to me is the keypad. qwerty or 2-letters-to a key. i know the pearl has sure type is that like a fancier version of t9? because i prefer the normal 12 keypad style and the curve seems bulkyish, thanks!

definitely Curve! is this the new curve 8900 or the curve 8320? the 8320 is already really good. I love how it feels in my hands.

edit: i just saw your recent post. That sucks that you are stuck with the pearl! you should have waited, unless there was some kind of expiration date. You could try to sell the curve although i dont know if you would get that much money back to buy a new Curve at retail price. Good luck though.

well im with sprint so its only the curve, pearl, or new tour...but i figure its kind of a waste of money if i get the tour just to call/text, listen to music, and take pics. haha.
