So who are 4Men? I tried to find their information on the internet but there’s not much information. I did find out that the current 4Men have had I did find out that the original 4Men was a pioneer of R&B in Korea. The original 4Men comprised of Yoon Min-soo, Jeong Se-young, Lee Jeong-ho and Han Hyun-hee and they debuted back in 1999. Yoon Min-soo left the group in 2001 and formed a new group Vibe (with Ryu Jae-Hyun and Yoo Sung-Gyu). The remaining 3 members found a new guy, J1, and re-grouped to release their third album this year - after 5 years of hiatus from the K-pop scene. You may think that Vibe and they were not on friendly terms but after I took a look at the lyric booklet – o_O all the songs were either composed by Yoon Min-Soo, Ryu Jae-Hyun and Yoo Sung-Gyu. They also produced the songs with 4Men. Yoon Min-Soo was featured in Track #2. Ryu Jae-Hyun played the piano for the first track, “To MJ”. Not to mention that Track #4, “Why Mo Reut Get Ni”, and Track #9, “Wish So Mang”, were remakes of Vibe’s songs (from Vibe Vol 2 and Vol 1 respectively).

FINALLY!! I thought they deserve their own thread. I have been a 'fan' for a long time.
One of my all time favorite Korean groups. I think they are so awesome. They've got such wonderful voices. If you like VIBE and Soulstar, this is a group to consider. 
Their new single is fantastic, considering the fact that they only released one single in January.
Hope they release an album soon^^

The new single is really good. Awesome vocals.
"Baby, Baby" has been on repeat for me lately. <3 Pwahahhaha! This was the first time I heard about them, I will definitely check out there other songs.

I was wondering if anybody had the romanization and translation of their "Baby baby" song.
I think that 4Men are amazing singers...they remind me of Soulstar or other ballad groups.
Their voice is love...<33.

Ahh i have two of their albums, and i JUST ordered ordered their new mini-album last week 
I love their voices, and i like a few songs from them. I dont like all of them, but the songs that i DO enjoy are VERY good. Their accapella's nice too but to me, their voices dont blend as well as some other accapella groups i listen to. Overall, I say their albums are definitely worth the money though.

^ LMFAO Nuoc Mac? I know right? I was completely blown away by their Vietnamese at that time. I mean, a Korean group?! Their Vietnamese was very understandable
I love their voices. It's so R&B, which I love.

But whay it's soooo hard to find anything that related to them ..

Wow, id idn't even realize there was a thread here for them, i just remembered that i have their first album and wow, it's good. XD I knew they were a pretty old band but they're talented. Too bad there isn't much promotion for them around. It's be great to see them on the music shows and such. I didn't even know that they releases some new albums...and this year too. HAHA! Thanks!

I just wanted to say that 4Men became "Someday 썸데이"???!! Someday sings for the OST of 'Boys Before Flowers'
I still need to 'confirm' if it is them or not because as of now, I am totallly confused.
From what I've been reading, only two of the original four members are in this so called new group......
J1 is gone and the bass player, Han Hyeon Hee is also gone....
permanently, not so sure, however, I will have to research more..
hm....if it is true....it's really disappointing...

Filling the void and bringing new energy to the Korean R&B world is ‘Someday’, a male 4 member band.
Formed in 2007 and at the same time signing an exclusive contract with South Korea’s Doremi Media, they churned out ‘Can I Love Again’ and ‘Confession’ among other hit tracks as part of popular group ‘4MEN.’ As ‘4MEN,’ the members Jung Se Young and Han Hyun Hee debuted in 2005 with the album, ‘The Immortality Of Soul’ and were recognized for their musical talent and became well-known in the Korean R&B scene and now they’ve formed a new team as ‘Someday.’
While previously active in ‘4MEN,’ Jung Se Young and Han Hyun Hee were recognized for their singing ability and their ability to create lyrics that would touch the hearts of people, and now with their birth, ‘Someday’ is highly anticipated as the first super male vocal group.
Beginning 2009, popular drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ will broadcast, already widely popular in Taiwan and Japan with a multitude of fans and now seeing an explosive interest from netizens with it’s Korean version.
This time ‘Someday’ will participate in it’s soundtrack and sing “Do You Know?(Boys Over Flowers Version)” as F4’s ballad theme track which will be used as background music in the drama.

I really love 4men
, but yeah I get shocked when knew that 2 members of Someday (I love this band, too) were members of 4men. I got confused because I thought they hasn't disbanned already since they released some songs for family honor ost in 200. Their songs in that ost sound so different and all three songs in ost part 1 look like sang by one person not as a group ??? But yeah for the song in family honor ost part II, yeah.... It sing by the whole member, and I could recognized J1 voice...
Your information is really help me, now I know that they definetely not disbanned, just have new member. So J1 is the only one who stay in 4 men.......
Hope they can released the album soon with this new formation...

& omg im like awed, at their vocal abilities, seriously.
One of the best R&B groups ive ever heard, period.
They deserve some credit x_____x ive never seen them on any music shows or anything.

I think more than one person sings, but I'm not sure either (I still can't tell their voices apart). J1 is still in 4Men but maybe he's like the main vocalist so maybe you hear him a lot.
The ones in Someday are 한현희 (Hahn Hyun Hee) and 정세영 (Jung Sae Young).

Seriously, I was beginning to think I was the only one that every listen to them. Haha. Especially when you can't find anything about them. ^^ I was so excited when I heard Jonghyun singing it. (&& he sounded awesome).
They are completely underrated & I'm so glad stars love them as well.

EDIT First Kiss mini album was just released October (?) last year. I hope they haven't broken up. (ahhh)

Goodness. I've always seen them around but I've never really listened to them. 
Now all that's catching up to me and just "WOW!" They've gained just respect from me in a matter of seconds, it's not even funny.
Their voices are SO incredible! I'm lost for words.
In "너 하나면 돼", I'm literally like, 
.."WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWW!!" =)
And I had no idea members were in Someday.
I've heard them back in..'07? I don't even remember.
Though they're not in the group anymore, there is still such talent here.
And I didn't know that Minsoo had experience before VIBE!

i discovered them when i heard shinee's jonghyun sing baby baby on idol show. i fell in love with the song. actually, it's playing right now as i'm writing this out. haha. they are absolutely talented and i wish there was more info on them. they're so underrated.

^^ same here. i was just watching some videos on yt and stumbled upon "baby, baby" and i instantly fell in love with their voices and the song. wish there were clips of them singing this though. yeah, they're so underrated. wish people would listen to more of real RnB in Korea. thanks for starting this thread! and hopefully we'll get to hear more of 4Men!

ah~~ i found out about this song just now from watching sungmin on a radio show on YT. and sungmin said that he'd propose to the one he loved with this song. and when he sang it, i squealed cuz it was beautiful... then i heard the actual song and i actually teared up. they have the most outstanding voices... *sniffles*
does anyone have the discography?? i mean, with the titles in letters i can actually read?? cuz i'm not korean therefore can't read korean. thanks in advance.

I love these guys voices. Very soulful and thats exactly what kpop needs right now. Not auto tune or techno. These guys are very pleasing to my ears. I hope they keep up the good work.

Thats a good r&b soul group. I listen to their album all the time. They are a great group. They are very underrated too. I wish more people would check them out.

if they didn't change members, i would have been fine but they've changed members three times now and it's just too sad for me.....
they changed members when yoo min soo got out, they changed members when two members went to make a new group 'Someday' and now they have different members too *when Someday 'debuted' i saw they added two new members because J1 and Force was in Someday* but now....there's only 3 members....and I don't know who is who....anymore...but i don't think i ever did sadly
do you see how much confusion it is for me and for others...?? T_T
but i still love their voices though.

despite the numerous member changes, they have decided to release another album.
still so beautiful. gives me goosebumps~
my heart cannot take the member changes but i just have to live with it because i love their music too much.

I just recently know about them since they released their newest album/single.
I like some others also stumbled upon the song Baby Baby with
Jonghyun singing~
the song itself is lovely!
but when i got to this thread and tried to look up the members..
i was quite confused about the ex-members...
why dint they just form a new group with a new name?
but any waz.. their voices are fab!!!

^ that.....I don't know....but one thing is sure though. no matter who are the voices behind 4men, they all sound fantastic. the R&B feel is still there and the harmonization is just wonderful. ^^
