Jah nee nee x
so here are some spoilers I wanted to share about the episode on Thursday if you don't already know:

SPOILER ALERT: (i REALLY want to make that clear lol)
- 03/18 - The big death will take place around the April 17 episode. The victim is someone who has been on the show since the first season and who hasn't been presumed dead before. The identity of the killer may be more surprising than the identity of the victim. Source: The Ausiello Report

because its someone who hasn't been pronounced dead i'm thinking its Lionel

and I'm sure that Lana either gets paralyzed or possible kills Lionel (the identity of the killer is surprising)
cause if you look in the trailer .. Lana is in some chair (wheelchair?) and looks sad or paralyzed
Krn_Track_Star
man i wuz kinda upset with this esp. 15 because i really thought he wuz gonna learn how to fly but i knew he couldnt cuz they said they wouldnt make him fly or wear a cape since the first season and they dont want to follow up on the old series of superman.

EDIT

lana and lex are not going to be in season 8 *cries*

http://www.tv.com/smallville/show/1718/sto...clk=headlinessh

and another rumor is season 8 is their last season of smallville and that in the last esp of season 8 that clark is gonna wear the superman costume. haha
KimWonSaDan
what season 8 can't be the last of clark. i still have yet to see him and lois, though i know smallville mainly focuses on clark and lana.

yes. I don't understand too blink.gif
Jah nee nee x
she's just paralyzed .. the last scene made me choke up lol.
umm I know she's not gonna be around for a while since she's shooting that movie, dunno why brainiac would make her say that - although I think it was just to make the moment even more depressing sad.gif
when he and kara come back, hopefully he'll bring back lana ..

oh and krn track star:
lana and lex will be in season eight, just not the whole season. I think michael rosembaum is doing like 11 episodes and kristin kruek is doing even less then that.

I don't think she's dead, Brainiac's just done with using Lana.

what a boring episode, worst of the season by far, wasted a whole hr when ----dies in the first 5 minutes, the rest wasted on nothing except lex gets the other key.
losborrachos
i didn't think it was boring--there was a lot of suspense and great dramatic moments, mostly involving lex.

that being said, there also happened to be a great deal of RIDICULOUS.
but the one thing that frustrated me the most is the fact that last week chloe and clark was hating on lionel, saying they can't trust him EVER, and the next, they're emoting about how he was such a good person and how he sacrificed blah blah blah, without showing an ounce of remorse?
whizzer's_rose
I used to love watching smallville but ever since lois came I kinda of stopped watching it except for season 6...I mean why do they have to put lois in it? Lois is kinda annoying for me (sorry to lois fans). I was also excited with the lex, lana and clark triangle because I had that in mind from season 1. Lana seemed to be really inlove with lex but she kinda made a complete u-turn and said she loved clark more.

well... sad to say, both lana and lex (as in Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum) are not going to be main cast next season, so no more of the clark, lana, lex triangle.
and, judging by how lana and clark's relationship is kinda rocky, what the producers and different articles stated, and kristin kreuk only being on a few episodes next season, clark and lois's relationship (next season) is going to be more than what it is right at this moment...
allison mack is also leaving (apparently...), she's most likely going to appear in a few episodes like michael and kristin

and the creators of Smallville are leaving.. (al gough and miles millar)... the executive producers are taking over...
... it's dissapointing....

-- all the "newer" characters are staying on... laura vandervoort (kara), aaron ashmore (jimmy olsen), erica durance (lois lane)...
as for Justin Hartley (oliver queen/green arrow), he is most likely to be on a few episodes, like this season, but that's just what i'm thinking.. He has been picked up to act in a CW pilot show, which is going to air later this year.

as you can tell.. i'm a bit obsessed with smallville..

yeah, it really must be an awesome episode if Clark kicks ass or some sort of action must be presented. *sarcasm*

Honestly, this episode was really suspenseful and possibly one of the best episodes this season...
Lex is pretty much beyond saving at this point.
losborrachos
it's hopefully gonna be clark pining after lois next season--we can't have it the other way around since it's against canon. i mean, after 7 seasons of lanaville i'm glad there will be some progress. besides, he needs to become superman already.

yeah..sounds like it.
It's so sad that both lana and lex won't be in all of the episodes. For me, I've really been a fan of michael rosenbaum because he was really good in portraying lex's character. I miss those old days of smallville already. The story of clark and lana is kinda heartbreaking. The writers have really twisted the main plot of the story...I was wondering if they would end it like the story really was as in the comics. I don't know if it's true that in the comics, Lex and Lana were dating but Lana was helping Clark something like that but of course it seems like smallville has a life of it's own...far from the comics

the description says---james marsters brainiac is back, and as his decious plan to take over earth continues to unfold, Clark is having a pity party. "Since the day I arrived, all I've brought is suffering and death," he frets in this weeks 150th episode of smallville. "meteor freaks, phantoms, brainiac. If I never reached earth, none of them wouldve ever been here." Right on cue, his own version of it's a wonderful life plays out when his kryptonian dad, jor-el, enables the future superman to experience what would have happened had his rocket ship never landed in kansas. In this alternate reality, Lois is a Pulitzer prize-winning reporter for the daily planet, and lex is president. needless to say things are not better on earth without clark, and to save the world from apocolypse, he teams up with lois--evoking some classic superman mythology moments, including a newsroom collision between the future lovers reminciscent of Christopher Reeve and Margot kidders meet-cute-and-clumsy from superman:the movie, says executive producer al gough "this just proves that no matter what the reality is, clark and lois are destined to be with each other."
losborrachos
^wow, is that... a clois plug from lana-worshipper al gough? LOVE IT.
sbq
I can't wait for the next episode! I want Clark x Lois! I'm sick of Lana! She is annoying. I was so annoyed with Clark when he said 'I don't care about Lex, I care about Lana.' He sounded like a child. If Lex gets the box then he's going to be controlled. What a moron. How will Lana help him then? So stupid. I swear this show is just the Lana show.
Japonesque
i always see this on tv but i'm not a fan the actress who plays Lana is so pretty though i forgot her name >.<
iDoof
I just wanna say this show is absolutely amazing. The character development and plot lines are so beautifully constructed, and it gives the Superman series as a whole a really valuable perspective. Superman didn't come to earth in his cape and costume ready to save lives. He BECOMES Superman because of the love and guidance he received from Johnathan and Martha Kent and the people around him in Smallville. I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
RE.
cant believe this show is still on. its been dragged on too long
chizcayk
whuht? chloe's leaving? clark and her are like the "batman-robin" of the show. why leave? ahuhuuhu..i love her with jimmy. hope jimmy doesnt get back with keira, its like going for another rebound.
Jah nee nee x
^where do you get keira from? do you mean kara?

anyways chloe is officially gonna be a series regular next season:

Good news at last! According to TV Guide's Ausiello, after weeks of negotiations, Allison Mack has signed a contract to return next season as series regular.

Smallville fans, consider this bullet officially dodged: Multiple sources confirm to me exclusively that after weeks of tense negotiations, Allison Mack has sealed a deal to return next season as a series regular! Although the specifics of the new contract -- which was signed just hours ago -- are being kept under wraps, I'm told it calls for Mack to appear in all episodes produced next season. As I reported earlier this week, the actress' reps were (wisely) using the imminent departure of Smallville vet Michael Rosenbaum as leverage in the negotiations. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the strategy paid off. Source: Smallvilleph

wow the lana part made me cry, I was glad lois was there to be his shoulder to cry on though xD the ending was such a cliffhanger -.-;;
tokio
YES ^^ Smallville with no CHLOE is HELL!! she has become one my fave characters and was praying she comeback. im so happy she is staying on, heheh means more laugh. Anyway i can't wait till next season because its gonna be a great one.
He's So Fly
I like Kristen better than Allison;
Chloe is so fkin annoying like half the time.
Krn_Track_Star
man i cant believe no more lex, kara, and lana as regulars =(. man that STINKS.

oh smallville season 8 are getting new people to. DOOMSDAY and A female villian who is going to give clark all he can handle.

http://www.kryptonsite.com/

man cant wait for season 8 to start. DOOMSDAY VS SUPERMAN.

and something about how they were gonna break the barrier about clark not flying =). so might acutally fly in season 8. oh and i heard season 8 might be the last season to. =( soo sad to see then go if it is because i saw them from season 1 which wuz soo long ago.
CoCoGirl886
Aww, I liked Kara and enjoyed her addition to the new season! But hmm.. a new female villian.. I can't wait wink.gif. For some reason, the image of her that pops up is someone like black canary tongue.gif.
Jah nee nee x
hey you green arrow lovers~ Justin Hartley(Oliver Queen) is gonna be a regular next season biggrin.gif

*dances*

sorry, I needed that dork moment, he's just so fiiiiine
kikintae
great. i like him and lois. they great together.
losborrachos
AHHH OLIVER QUEEEN! though as much as i liked him and lois together, i don't think they'll pair em up again. mostly because i've heard that with lana gone (FINALLY) we're somewhat heading toward the clark-lois saga. though actually i wouldn't mind a hot clark-lois-ollie triangle.
mishax3
man this show sucks now. What happened to the good old days aka season 1&2.
I will miss clark and lana, that's for sure.
LaBelle
i think it is time for Lois and Clark LOL
cant wait to see them together
love the part when she hugged him, actually no one understand him better than lois
hoping to see what will happen next season

I am!

I didn't watch most of season 7, but after reading some spoilers of what's gonna happen season 8, I'm looking forward to seeing how they're gonna tell the Superman story.

And I love Clark and Lois! and ollie...
chula
^ ooooh good! i only finished catching up on season 7 last week.
and yes, i'm definitely looking forward for more Clois ... and Ollie!
losborrachos
^I KNOW! i'm super excited because: 1. no more lana/clana. thank. god. 2. clois. magic. 3. ollie. man is he ripped. 4. it's the last season so we might finally see some progress in terms of clark becoming superman. after all these years.

the only sad thing is michael not being a regular anymore. well, you win some you lose some i guess.

Season 8

Now in its eighth season, this modern reinterpretation of the enduring Superman mythology and its classic characters continues to blend realism, adventure and emotion into an exciting action series. With realistic portrayals and award-winning, state-of-the-art special effects, SMALLVILLE stars Tom Welling (The Fog, Cheaper by the Dozen movies), Allison Mack (The Ant Bully, Opposite Sex), Erica Durance (House of the Dead, The Butterfly Effect 2), Aaron Ashmore (Veronica Mars, The West Wing, upcoming The Christmas Cottage), Cassidy Freeman (Finishing the Game: The Search for a New Bruce Lee, Cold Case), Sam Witwer (Battlestar Galatica) and Justin Hartley (Aquaman, Passions). From Tollin/Robbins Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Smallville airs Thursdays (8:00–9:00 p.m. ET/PT) on The CW.

This season, Clark Kent (Welling) moves closer than ever to embracing his calling as the iconic superhero he is destined to become. Spending less time in his hometown and more time in the big city of Metropolis, Clark will encounter new challenges and new faces – both friend and foe – as he begins his career at the Daily Planet. Characters from every corner of the DC Comics universe will pay visits, including Plastique, the heroine-to-be with an explosive personality; Maxima, the seductive, intergalactic goddess; and Superman's most formidable adversary, Doomsday, the only character who is able to kill Superman. This season will also feature an appearance by DC Comics' time-traveling Legion of Superheroes, who return from the future in an episode to be penned by renowned comic book writer Geoff Johns.

Last season came to a stunning conclusion with a confrontation between Clark and his longtime nemesis, Lex Luthor (former series star Michael Rosenbaum) under the frozen columns of Clark's arctic Fortress of Solitude. Years of secrets came to a head as Clark's former friend finally discovered the truth about Clark's alien heritage. Clark's world soon came crashing down as the fortress crumbled in an icy avalanche, leaving both characters' fate a mystery.

Lex's moment of truth didn't come without a price. He murdered his father, Lionel (former series star John Glover) for information about the legendary Traveler. Clark also had to defeat Brainiac (recurring guest star James Marsters), who had banished Clark's Supergirl cousin Kara (recurring guest star Laura Vandervoort) to the Phantom Zone and attacked both Chloe (Mack) and Lana (former series star Kristin Kreuk), leaving them both in catatonic comas. Though Brainiac's demise ultimately lifted their trances, Chloe was soon arrested for hacking into federal databases – just as she was about to respond to a marriage proposal from Jimmy Olsen (Ashmore). Meanwhile, in a tearful, videotaped good-bye, Lana told Clark that she was leaving Smallville and his life forever, encouraging Clark to fulfill his destiny – something he wouldn't be able to accomplish with her in his world. While one chapter of his life seemingly came to an end, another was about to begin. With fewer commitments tethering Clark to the farm, Lois Lane (Durance) asked him to apply for a job opening at the Daily Planet.

Season eight begins a few weeks after the Fortress' icy collapse, as a LuthorCorp arctic excavation team investigates Lex's whereabouts. Members of the Justice League reunite in the search for Clark, who has been rendered powerless by the fall of the Fortress. As the season unfolds, Clark's new position at the Daily Planet will mean working across the desk from Lois. The two will be forced to team up to cover Metropolis' most pressing goings on. Sometimes it's Lois herself who becomes Clark's biggest obstacle, especially when he's on a deadline. But with Clark and Lois thrust into such close proximity, sparks are bound to fly, and feelings will start to surface that come as a surprise to both of them. At the same time, Clark begins to discover the balancing act he must perform as he explores his dual identities as both reporter and superhero.

Even with Lex gone, the Luthor mansion isn't vacant for long. Its newest resident is the beguiling Tess Mercer (Freeman), who, according to Lex's written instructions, has been placed in charge of LuthorCorp and all of its projects, including oversight of the Daily Planet. Tess proves to be as inscrutable as she is cunning, and is an enigmatic new presence in everyone's lives. It won't be long before Tess' attention turns to Clark. But Clark is wary of her intentions, and as the layers of her past are peeled away, new mysteries surface. Through it all, Tess' resolve remains unshakable – to find Lex Luthor, as she is convinced he is still alive.

Clark isn't the only one who will face formidable challenges. Oliver Queen (Hartley) returns to make Metropolis his home. He finds himself at a crossroads, forced to travel through some dark terrain – especially when demons from his past are reawakened. Oliver ultimately begins to question his role as a superhero, just as Clark is embracing his own.

With a new fiancι and puzzling new abilities that intrigue her as much as they frighten her, Chloe decides to turn her attention toward helping others. She takes over where Lana left off and reopens the Isis Foundation to provide counseling for those with meteor-powered abilities. She soon finds just how tricky the meteor-powered can be. Chloe's life is further complicated when she meets Metropolis paramedic Davis Bloome (Witwer). A tireless public servant, Bloome strikes up a fast friendship with Chloe. Soulful and mysterious, Bloome has demons of his own. He's troubled by large gaps of time that he can't remember, and as he comes closer to the answers, he must confront his own worst fear – that at his core he is pure evil.

The series, based on DC Comics characters, was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (both of Spider-Man, Shanghai Noon movies, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and is executive produced by Kelly Souders (Stuck) & Brian Peterson (But I'm a Cheerleader), Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer (both of Control, Natural Selection), Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola (latter three from One Tree Hill, The Bronx Is Burning, Norbit, Wild Hogs). This description was copied and pasted from KryptonSite.com. Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

Thanks for pictures!

Something I noticed from those pictures:
Tom Welling isn't wearing that blue-shirt-red-jacket combo anymore; not that it was a bad combo, but I like the change. I wonder if it's a permanent change?

And I love that they sit across from each other! LOL
losborrachos
ok so i'm excited that clark is finally gonna work for the daily planet and bonus points for his and lois's desks facing each other! also, i think that's gonna be his work outfit. you can't really wear t-shirt and a jacket to the office and old-school clark kent never wears the supes color combo anyway (unless he's being superman, that is).

so i take it they're not bringing black canary back, then? guest-star spot, maybe? i'm also excited for the legion of superheroes, though.
