Dead Space (scary! but love it! even the movie is scary!)
COD: World at War (the best! love to shoot zombies!)

Guitar Hero: World Tour (still trying to get to hard mode)
Heavenly Sword (my 1st ps3 game. very easy)

PSP:
God of War: Chains of Olympus (easy game)
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (love it!)
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes (haha still trying to beat The Legendary Sannin)
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (good game, pretty easy)
Death Jr: Root of Evil (just got done playing it. easy)
MediEvil: Resurrection (good game)

i am trying to selling some games in my shop espically the ps2 games.

I highly recommend Left 4 Dead for the PC.
Nothing's more fun than mowing down hordes of zombies with your pals. Plus it's not a scary game. It's more of a "Holy %^$# here they come!!!" kind of a game, lol.

And this one is a little bit unknown, but Audiosurf for the PC. I would honestly prefer Audiosurf over DDR or Guitar Hero ANYDAY,

Looking for a good tactical RPG...

I've played Disgaea DS, and Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP...which were amazing I must say. If you haven't played them and are into Tactical RPGs you should definitely try them.

Anyways, I've tried the FF Tactics games for the GBA and DS and I didn't like them. In comparison to their PSP counterpart, they're terrible. I've tried Fire Emblem games as well and don't really like them. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Can someone recommend me a pc game? My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and even though I'm not into him gaming but I guess I could be nice for a change lol. I know he plays Left 4 Dead and Day of Defeat. One day he told me he wanted to play NBA 2k9 because he played it on xbox and said it was a lot of fun. I'm not sure if I should get that for him or something else

I want to find a game that has a real-time playing mode like:
- Kingdom Hearts
- Chaos Legion
- Devil May Cry
- Prince of Persia

Not something like Final Fantasy type of fighting where you just click on "attack" and your character does all the work.

i would like recommendations for video games on the psp and ps2

i usually play games just to beat it but i would like one where i can play all the time like i want to play more of it even after i beat the game

First of all, I recommend to all DS owners to play "The World Ends With You" by Square Enix. =)
Though the fighting controls are kind of hard in the beginning, you'll get used to it.
(Buy it on Amazon, even when its in NEW condition, its soooo much cheaper)
IMO, it's pretty advanced for a DS game ... that is, until Kingdom Hearts 365/2 comes out...

Are there any DS games that are like The World Ends With You for Nintendo DS?

Not Final Fantasy or that type of fighting b/c I really despise that mode of fighting.
If you guys could recommend the same type of fighting/action as "The World Ends With You" and hopefully artwork that is just as good?

i would reccommand two game on PS3 that's similar to Prince of Persia.

Assassin's Creed (don't really like the combat system but great storyline) and Ninja Gaiden Sigma?

cant really recommend assassin's creed. gameplay sucks, cuz u do the same things over and over again ... plus u need a lot of time just to travel from one location to the other

I recently started playing a few PS3 games. Well, playing my bfs ps3.

I definitely recommend Folklore. The fighting system is really interesting and unique, although it does get a bit repetitive. The style is great too.
Red Faction Guerilla is fun for those that like destruction. (not me)

For DS I'd say try out Professor Layton and the Curious Village. It's a puzzle game that can be pretty frustrating at times but overall fun.

And psp? Locoroco 2! It's sooo much fun! But also another game that can get aggravating. >.<

Has anyone tried Knights in the Nightmare? I hear it's really great but has a hard to learn battle system?

Has anyone ever played Persona 3?
I really want to try it, but I don't want to buy it and then not like it.

I played Persona 3 and it's one of the best RPGs I've ever played (and most of the games I own are RPGs)
sometimes it can become a little repetitive because you're always at the same locations, you don't travel trough the world like in most RPGs, but the story and the characters are very unique and interesting. you just want to know what happens next. the athmosphere of the game is, on one side, very bright, but at the same time it's also very dark. it has its funny moments and sometimes philosophical dialogs. basically, everything one can wish for ^^
The battle system is also much fun. It's not complicated, but some fights can be challenging... which is a good thing, of course
and it's pretty long. it took me almost 70 hours to finish.

you can also go to gamefaqs, there are much more detailed reviews to Persona 3 ^^

but honestly, I think Persona 4 is even better. you should at least try one of them, and if you like it, you know what your next game will be

for nintendo DS:
rhythm heaven (this is the best. seriously. so fun.)
trauma center
final fantasy 3 (HUGE IMPROVEMENT compared to the really old ffiii)

for PSP:
rockband (bit complicated tho, having to move from one instrument to another)
fantasy golf pangya (it's new, AND IS REALLY CUTE, just like the game in PC but better graphics && has a storyline)
DJ MAX (black square! because it has more catchy music)

Gitaroo-man for PS2 and PSP, great rhythm music game, really different and great catchy songs

I highly recommend getting an R4 if you own a DS, you save A LOT of money and get to play great games that aren't available outside of Japan.

S4 is a third-person shooter MMO with a stylish and anime flair (S4 stands for Stylish eSper Shooting Sports). You can look up the game on wikipedia or check out some gameplay vids on youtube. It's pretty fun. Don't worry if you suck at shooting games. You WILL get better with time : )

I haven't really played many PC games for some odd reason (I had a crappy computer before but it's all good now).

I tried out Oblivion and LOVED it. any other recs like this (RPG, open ended)?
I tried Fable too and the camera angles makes me want to puke.

I really recommend BlazBlue, it's the best fighter I've ever played in my life.

Are there any good girl RPG/otome [x] games for PC/PS2/Game Cube/DS that don't take up a lot of memory? The Sims 2 makes my computer really slow and I get impatient waiting for it to load. Or good dating sims without the yaoi/yuri/pornagraphic crap? Sort of like this I guess

- Maple Story (I reached lvl 36 with my cleric and got really bored with it...)
- Runscape (The characters are ugly and it sucked)
- Pangya (I don't like golf)
- Audition (I can't dance with my fingers. I'd rather play DDR)
- Cake Mania (It was alright but I finished it already)
- Sally's Salon (I liked it at first, but it got boring)
- Dream Day Wedding (Just started but haven't played it in a while...)
- The Sims 2 (I like it but it takes up a lot of space and I don't want to get TS3 because I don't have the video card, it costs a lot, and there's probably going to be costly expansions like TS2 )

- Pokemon Diamond (I won up to the big league thing but I reset it and it got boring getting the badges again)

Game Cube (there's a lot but here's just a couple)
- Harvest Moon (I played all three of them. The first two got boring after you got married. I never got to proposing in Magical Melody but I really liked it.)
- Naruto (I only played it when friends came over. Its quite boring if you play it by yourself after unlocking everything.)
- Mario Party 6 or 7 (I LOVE this game! I only borrowed it from a friend though and I can't find it in stores since Nintendo released the Wii)

Does anyone recommend these two games for DS?
- Starfy (i think that's what its called.. I played the trial at Target and thought it was really cute! It was about a starfish king who jumped into the ocean or something to save a bunny in a space suit.)
- Princess Debut (the only RPG game I could look up in the US for DS >>)

If you're PC can handle it, heres a quick review of some games I currently own/played for awhile on my PC. These are high-end games because I'm running on a good gaming laptop.



Here's my recs out of 10:

Street Fighter 4 - 10/10 = Totally worth owning for any fighting game lover. Seriously, the hype isnt fake! Now that its on PC, I bring Street Fighter madness wherever my laptop goes =D. Its fun playing with your friends, and just as fun as the challenging online multiplayer.

Bioshock - 8/10 = This game is totally mind-boggling. Play it alone at night with no lights on, and even the most die-hard scary movie enthusiast will get the eerie chills. The whole environment and story really reels you in.

Fallout 3 - 9/10 = Can you say, the best RPG ever? Omgoodness.... Fallout3 delivers action, story, comedy, EVERYTHING! not to mention there's alot of downloadable content which adds to the game world. This game is great, nuff said.

Grand Theft Auto 4 - 9/10 = Fun game, the storyline is so discreet it makes you want more. The graphics are amazing, really puts you're computer to the edge. The multiplayer is also strong with a friendly and easy to use community.

Crysis / Crysis Warhead - 9/10 = Absolutely stunning graphics. The best out there, you really feel like the game is real. The gameplay is pretty legit too, it will remind you alot like Halo. Online is limitless because again, the graphics just make things so much better.

FreeStyle Street Basketball (multiplayer online)- As long as you avoid hackers, immaturity, and lag then you will have a great time.


Z.O.E. (PS2) - probably the most underrated mecha game in the y2k generation of gaming. Beautiful game and all.


Monopoly (pogo.com) - Its multiplayer online and its extremely easy to play. You don't need to know much about the rules like in real life.

Don't play Aion, it will steal your soul and life away.
