^ lol in china... plastic surgery isn't very common, maybe some cases with girls, but guys definitely no. in china's idol industry, they look for pretty faces first, then voices, not the other way around, which is why plastic surgery isn't necessary for a lot of the idols. Although if ur wondering about the smoothness of their skin, one of the members specialize in skin care and beauty stuff, so thats probably why they're able to take care of their skin so well. i wonder if that one guy is gay ><;;;; its kind of creepy how much he knows about cosmetics.

haha, i remember gao yu when he was in the wo xin wo show competition back in like 2007. i wonder if he won first tho? i know he got top 3 at least, but yeah, his fan base was superb cuz of the number of girls who were infactuated with him. hahaha kind of interesting seeing him sing now, because i had the impression that he rapped a lot instead of singing in the competition.

and about the HIT-5 name... i mean, i guess props for the company being able to be so witty with a language that's not their own, but STILL... plus, none of them are even really teenagers, cuz they're all past 19 (?).

My perspective towards the China artists has changed after i saw all these new groups/singers from China.
They have the looks and talent too. Not bad!

Just watched their MV. Ok song, but sucky special effects and camera works.
They are definitely good looking and have enough talent, so with better songs and choreography they can probably make it. If they have more chances to show off their own styles and charisma then that even better, instead of trying to rely on Korean/Japanese trends all the time.

Why not? I saw Yan Fan pics when he was a child in a thai fans forum and he already got that jawline and his face didn't change much.
If they did plastic surgery, the nose would be very straight looking from profile view (ex: Jae Joong), but all of them got some sort of bumps and not completely straight.
I can tell when people got plastic surgery, mostly korean actors and actresses though cause they r the ones who do the most plastic surgery and you can tell from a picture or video.
Gao Yu looks like Hu Ge, a mainland actor who came from the same region and both got high nose bridges and oval faces.

Actually Kenny from Top Combine is from Guandong, but so far the songs are in mando though.
Yu Haoming (he is a solo singer) as well.
