I absolutely love the idea of a book club, but I am like a puppy when it comes to my attention span. Literally, I can focus for about 5-10 minutes in a book discussion, then I feel like I'm back in English class, you know? I've been watching this webseries on CBS called "Novel Adventures" (link provided), and I'm thinking of following their idea.

The premise is four women who go on an adventure to fit the book they're reading (and it's a great show if you want to watch!) I just read "The Choice" by Nicholas Sparks and the main characters go on a boat/hang gliding outing. So, while I don't think hang gliding is in our budget...I was thinking a day trip on boat would be nice (we have really cheap "booze cruises" here in DC for an afternoon.) The webseries site is actually great for telling you how to do the adventures they do and includes reviews of the book...I might just start on theirs until I work up to my own, haha.
