She's not particularly mature, but neither are you. Who just starts avoiding someone else out of the blue without an explanation? She probably feels abandoned, and it's not like she's unjustified. If you dealt with it maturely in the first place it wouldn't have come to this. I always get annoyed when people create problems for themselves because they can't behave rationally.

I think personally you lead her on; usually when a girl talks to a guy ALL the time it's a sign they
like you! & you responding probably made her think you had feelings too. I'd be really upset if someone I was
close to suddenly stopped talking to me for no good reason.
