how do u guys be in the band?
RS has a project call C-Quint. a boyband with 5 members.
want person who are good about dancing and singing as harmonize.
so RS open the audition then us be come C-Quint.

Some of u have singing skill better than dancing skill?
yes but all of us we love to dance so we juz adjust our dancing skill togather.

Is it hard to become C-Quint?
Yes it's hard. we have to work and practice a lot to reach the quality level that was set up.
the quality level that we have to reach is about, we have to dance in team work and strong, singing as harmonize.
we have to come to RS for practice dancing and singing every Monday To Friday for pass 2 years.

How many hour that u have to practice per day?
We learn Singing 2 hours then dancing 2-3 hours or mybe 5 hours.
but sometime we come to practice togather with ourself.

Expectation?
actually we r very happy to have our own album.
If there r anything more than this we think it as a profit.
And we have been develop ourself, coz we still learn singing and dxancing.

What does C-Quint come from?
C stands for Caracter of us. Quint stands for 5. it is a song language.
C of Fluke stands for C-Chief. he is a leader of the band.
he has a leading character and has hight responsibility.
C of Best stands for C-Cheer. he is cheerful person and like sport.
C of Bank stands for C-Chic. he used to be a model. he's always mix and match his cloth.
and he's the only one who wear hat when dancing.
C of Pitt stands for C -Cool comes from his character and his life stlye.
he like nice cars, nice cloths and nice resteruant.
C of Yoshi stands for C-Charm. he is a friendly person. easy smiling, talkative.

Everyone has your own character, when u work togater has any problem?
yes has a bit. we juz knew each other so we have to adjust to work togather.
and we alway support eachother.

How long have u been in the group to gather?
2 years, but we knew eachother before Pitch's brother and Yoshi's brother are Fluke's friend.
Fluke and Banks are friend for long time.
Bank, Base and Pitch are study at the same university. so every one familiare togather.
so it's easy to link togather.

Album concept?
Our musuc is Battle Beat style. strong dance. so when we dance the audience will fun with us.

We have fast 3 songs and slow 3 songs.

Hard dancing?
we have mix with hard and easy one.
so fans can dance with us.

Any paticipate with the album?
we join about the idea about song, cloth, and so on. we can tell them what we want every time.

as NaMaiAye song is about we like a girl who has boyfriend already.

C-Quint lead the way

Hot new boy band C-Quint have faced their fair share of criticism since releasing their hit single, “Tor Hai Lok Yood Moon (If the World Stops Spinning).” In particular, they’ve been accused of imitating the songs and outfits of Korean group Dong Bang Shin Gi.

The five former models and actors that comprise C-Quint — Jira Danbawornkiat (Fluke), 23, Veerachai Leelahathorn (Bank), 23, Pit Karchai (Pitt), 21, Nimit Manatpon (Yoshi), 21, and Nuttapol Weeraanantawat (Best), 19 — cut through the criticism by releasing more smash hits, like the popular ballad “Na Mai Eye (Embarrassing).”

Student Weekly recently caught up with C-Quint to chat about their beginnings, their style and their self-titled debut EP.

• Did you know •
The name C-Quint comes from a combination of the words characteristic and quintet.

STUDENT WEEKLY: How did you guys get to know one another?

Fluke: Yoshi is the friendliest person in the band. He always starts conversations, so he got us all talking. We became close friends during our voice training sessions together.

STUDENT WEEKLY: Did you guys always plan to be singers?

Yoshi: Yes. I was a singer in the CU band at university. I never dreamed of releasing an album. I feel very fortunate to be part of C-Quint.

Pitt: I love singing. I’ve taken singing classes since I was young.

Bank: In junior high school I saw a gig that inspired me to sing on stage. I also like to dance.

Fluke: I’ve always enjoyed performing in public. I felt so good when students at school complimented my performances.

STUDENT WEEKLY: Yoshi, is singing with a boy band much different to singing solo with the CU band?

Yoshi: It’s more difficult because all the parts need to be synchronised. We have to rehearse a lot to make it smooth.

STUDENT WEEKLY: Bank, is it true that you’re interested in martial arts?

Bank: Yes. I got bullied when I was a kid, so I learned martial arts for self-defense. Friends taught me Thai boxing, taekwondo and Brazilian jujitsu.

STUDENT WEEKLY: Best, do you still like to play sports?

Best: I was a school athlete. I started with football, and now I also bowl and play basketball, golf and squash. Playing sports helped me to gain physical strength. When we practise our dance routines, the other guys always feel exhausted before me!

STUDENT WEEKLY: Fluke, is it true that you’re a natural-born leader?

Fluke: I’ve always been a leader. At school I was the student president. I learned how to be responsible and how to deal with people.

An underclassman once told me that I was his idol and that he wanted to be like me. That made me so happy.

STUDENT WEEKLY: How do you feel about teenagers copying your behaviour?

Pitt: It’s OK. Being a singer means that you have an influence on young people. We want to set a good example for adolescents.

STUDENT WEEKLY: What do you think about people saying that you imitate Dong Bang Shin Gi?

Fluke: Our band is unique. We have great dance routines and strong teamwork. We don’t intend to be like any other group.

Pitt: People think that our clothes are similar to Dong Bang Shin Gi, but we dress like this to stand out from our label-mates K-OTIC and Nice 2 Meet U. They wear brightly coloured outfits, while our image and dark clothes are more mature.

STUDENT WEEKLY: Do you think that your group can beat the Korean boy bands?

Pitt: We can’t judge for ourselves. Let the audience decide.

Before we released our album, we practised dancing and singing almost every day for more than two years. Come and see us perform. Then you can judge for yourselves.

finally i know who is who now.
first time i saw them, was on tv, and i was like... who's them...
was so happy that RS released another boy group, after D2B and Dan-Beam disbanded.
anyways, their latest song is called, Hai Jai Aok Ko Ngow, Hai Jai --------- the rest needs to be romanized to me... i'll get that later.
and it's such a good song, hehe, love their singing, would love to meet them and all that. but i did see them on 2nitelive last night, hehe, so cute.

Their latest song is called "Hai Jai Ok Gor Ngao, Hai Jai Kao Gor Kit Teung" which means "Exhaling Loneliness, Inhaling Missing You"

Best C-Quint speaks to FC
okai from what i heard from Best himself is that he isnt so happy with some of the fanclub members right now. Apparently they found out who his gf is and from what i;m guessing they were harrassing her and stuff. and he posted a message saying for his fanclub and the group fanclub to understand that it's his personal life and he wants them to understand that he doesnt want his gf to be worried by what the FC might say or do about her. He says he's the type of person who likes to keep his love life private and he wants them to respect that and that he loves her a lot and has been with her for a long time now .. he just wants ppl to understand that because i'm guessing hif gf can't really handle it right now and it's sprt of hurting their relationship ...

so yeah that's the jist of it though .. he hopes that the FC can understand and leave her alone

but aww, that's sucks, hopefully the Best's gf is not getting harrassed anymore. that is messed up. if he's been together with her for a long time, hopefully it stays that way and private too... poor girl. hope the FC stops as well. thank you for sharing that.

Best left for school reasons .. he says he'll come back to the group when hes done with school and that he isnt leaving RS of C-Quint seeing that he still has 5 years left on his contact

At first I didn't really like the song that much but it growing on me after watching the mv...Also C-quint dancing got a lot stronger than compare it to their first album...

SHOCK!!! C-QUINT DISBANDING ...

The 5 boys of C-QUINT, Bank, Fluke, Pitt, Yoshi, and Best debut beautifully after training together as C-Quint for 2 years and releasing their debut self titled album with their first single "Tau Hai Lhoke Yood Moon" that became very popular in a short amount of time after its release and their follow up single "Nah Mai Ai" was a smash it reaching number 1 all over the kingdom.

The beginning of 2009 started and they released 2 new singles "Akarn Nauk Jai" and "Playgirl', for their sophmore album "Hybrid" but they had a delay due to something. The delay way due to Best, one of the members, that seem to be very close to girls or should i say whipped by his girlfriend. This all started when Best's girlfriend told Best not to interact with any of the female leads in their music videos or to get too close to any of his or the groups female fans. And during the filming of their music video his girlfriend ended up seeing Best acting with the female lead and Best's girlfriend was so angry that she got into her car and crashed into the music video set ruining all the equipment at the site.

Now the big executives at RS are involved and they have a problem now with this seeing how his girlfriend ruined all the equipment on the music video shoot. The big execs called Best for a meeting and asked Best to choose a lot of times before Best decided to leave the group because he was tired of being in the news. So the execs said okay you can leave the group and there is also news that the company gave best a fine for ripping his contract (and probably for his girlfriend ruining company property) and they said that the fine was up to half a million bhat. And the remaining 4 members, Fluke, Pitt, Bank, and Yoshi had to sign new contracts with the company.

So C-QUINT fans you are going to have to wait a long time before you see them again because right now they are in the process of changing the groups look and no one knows how the group is going to come out. All we know is that because of the one member, Best, the other 4 have to suck it up and re-record music tracks that were already set and done and promotions were about to begin but his one little bump in the road stalled everything.

Since the answer you'll get from the boys or their pr agent is that "Best has lower back problems and cant dance" we all know the real reason Best had to turn his back on his dream of being a singer. Will the remaining 4 members be able to get their fans back after losing 1 member...

I knew Best's girlfriend was a piece of work and he does put his girlfriend first before anything because when he's in a relationship he sort of sucks himself in it but to turn you back on your dream and that you finally had a chance to live out and to quit due to a girlfriend is a little stupid to me ...]

Wow, that the true reason for him leaving the group and let his dream go because his jealous girlfriend. Well he should have know that when you get into this kind of job you get to work with good looking peoples all the time. Now how long will we have to wait until we see their new images. Not only that but I just wish this is not one of those RS boys bands that get disbanding only after one or two album like B-mix and Brother which both of these group was my favorite right after D2B....THANK YOU FOR THE NEWS

well they are going to continue on without him i know that .. the show must go on right and the other 4 have their relationships that they've kept and are stable ...

Yoshi is finally done with college, he graduated from ChulaLhongKorn University with a bachelors in Communication of Arts (นิเทศศาสตร์) and his overall GPA is 3.7.

He is the 2nd member in C-Quint to graduate from college, the first being Fluke. Pitt has 1 year left while Bank still has 2 years left.

His graduation ceremony will take place on July 10th. CONGRATS

Personally, I think they sound better without Best >_> Or maybe it was just a sucky time for him to leave cause they were just starting to get good.
I actually like their two new singles, I think their voices have improved, and I'd actually be willing to give their album a listen when it comes out~
