I'm not as big into techno as I am electronica, but I have come to decide that Daft Punk is probably my favorite group ever. They're a constant in my life, and they have been for the past 11 years, and I hope for many more years to come!

It's funny that techno is compared to classical music, which is very true. For some odd reason I don't mind classical music, but in order to enjoy any form of techno, I really have to be in an ambient mood to appreciate it.

Daft Punk rocks i went and saw two shows from Alive 2007.....

Kavinsky is good for that 80's kind of feel. He seems like music you would hear in GTA or something.
Surkin is another good French artist. Next of Kin is fine work.

&rea-I really love the first two songs. DatA is good on his own, but gosh TEPR just added such a good mix. I think someone mentioned MGMT, but Justice did a BANGIN remake on "Electric Feel". It sounds like a completely different song. Actually all of Justice's remixes are very good.

Daddy DJ is really good too. Crookers is also very good, but their stuff is sort of hit and miss. I must say this remix is really well done.

Kaskade and DeadMau5 are my Favorites i just ordered the Kaskade sound library one and two to create beats and order Mau5's but haven't got it yet..

I like the more experimental electronica stuff like Venetian Snares, Wagon Christ and FSOL.
