This chart is based on first-week sales. If it was cumulative sales, I'm sure Britney wouldn't be #1.

The sad thing is all those albums debuted at #1 except for ayaka's (and Ayu's but she had a double week anyway). And her's debuted higher than 3 of them. Awww.

ayaka didn't get her 1# weekly because her competitor was strong, but her album index number was big for a first week that why she topped the others.
