If you are going to buy on Japanese online music store (HMV Japan/CDjapan), it is very safe. I have bought CDs/DVDs online a lot of times and I have received all my orders safe and sound. (Out of my 100++ CDs, 75 of them are bought online ^^ so it's safe to buy online)

Yeah CDJapan packs CDs well but they are a bit pricey. I buy most of my CDs at HMV Japan as it is cheaper there. But then their packages are so-so. Anyway they replace crack CD cases ^^

Brightly Point of BRIGHT
1. VOICE
大阪出身、平均年齢17歳のコーラスグループ、BRIGHT。
デビュー前の彼女たちは京都を中心に約1年に渡ってストリートライブを展開し、持ち前の性格(声格)の良さで多くの道行く人たちを振り向かせてきた。
メンバーはMEG、MI-MI、NANAKA、NAGIの4人。
改めて、彼女たちの素晴らしい歌キャラ＝声格をご紹介。
Q1：メンバーのパート／歌声の特徴を教えてください。
NAGI MI-MIとNANAKAのパートがメゾ（中音域）です。MI-MIの声はハスキーで、ちょっと柔らかいです。昔はさらにハスキーでした。NANAKAの声は上にスコーンと抜ける感じの声ですね。あと、ファルセット（裏声）を使ったら4人の中で一番高い声が出ます。MEGがソプラノ(高音域)担当しています。MEGは昔から地声が高くて、超音波オンナって呼ばれてたくらい（笑）。彼女の声は、声変わりする前の男の子っていうか、かわいい曲に合うと思います。あと、言葉のひとつひとつがクリアで、聴き取りやすいです。私、NAGIはアルト（低音域）を担当しています。
NANAKA NAGIの声は4人の中では、いちばん太くて力強いです。歌い方の特徴は、力強いロングトーンですね。ゴスペルのフェイクとかによくある、声張り上げて一緒にどんどんフェイクしあっていくっていうのがめっちゃNAGIにはまります。
Q2：それぞれ他のメンバーの、その歌声がいちばん発揮できてると思う曲名を教えて！
MI-MI NAGIの「Stay」の声がめっちゃ好きです。イントロでのロングトーンや、最後も力強いロングトーンがNAGIって感じですね。あと、ロングトーンではないんですけど、「My Girl」のBメロのNAGIの声も好きですね。
NAGI MI-MIには「Missin'U」が特に合ってると思います。最後のサビをMI-MIが歌ってるんですけど、そこの高音が特に好きです。
NANAKA 「いつまでも・・・」の最初の部分が、MEGのかわいらしい声が活きてるなって思います。MEGは元々地声が高いから、「Tears」の♪二人照らす♪の部分も全部地声でやってて、3人で「高っかーい！」って言いました（笑）。
MEG NANAKAのクリアな声は「Brightest Star」が特に発揮されてるって思います。あと「Free Your Mind」の最後のフェイクもめっちゃ高い音を出してて、それも聴きどころです、ってなんか自画自賛グループみたいですけど（笑）。
2. FRIENDSHIP
BRIGHTの4人は小学生のときからの幼なじみ。同じレッスン教室に通い、時には励まし合い、ふざけあって、たまには涙しながら、ダンスと歌のスキルを磨いてきた。苦労も喜びも共に重ねてきた4人だからこそ生まれた強い絆。彼女たちは言う。「BRIGHTはこの4人じゃなきゃダメなんです」と。
Q3：自分以外のメンバーのBRIGHTでのポジション（役割）を教えて！
MEG MI-MIがお母さんで、NAGIがお父さん。NAGIは亭主関白なんですけど（笑）、BRIGHTの活動をまとめてくれる大黒柱です。で、NANAKA が長女で、MEGが次女。それは精神年齢順（笑）。NANAKAの方が実際には私より年下ですけど、ライブのMCをやったりとか、考えが大人っぽいんです。
NAGI MEGはムードメイカー。NANAKAは天然入ってるから、ツッコミどころ満載の（笑）ムードメイカー。MI-MIはしっかりしていて、結構頑固なところがあるタイプ。メンバーを精神的な部分でまとめてくれてます。
Q4：自分以外のメンバーは、あなたにとってどんな人？
NAGI MEGは私に自信を与えてくれる人。ほんまに思ったことを言ってくれるからMEGに「いい」って言ってもらえると、自信に繋がります。NANAKAは恋愛相談相手。私の方が年上なんですけど、恋愛はNANAKAにいつも背中を押されてます。MI-MIは、恋愛以外のことで背中を押してくれる人。同い年やけど、頼れる存在です。
MI-MI NANAKAは妹。NAGIは真剣に話せる相手で、将来、飲み友達っぽくなりそうな気がする。(笑)。もちろん年齢的に飲みに行ったことはないんですけど。MEGはいちばん長いこと一緒におる、アホみたいに騒げる友達です。
MEG MI-MIはMEGのことをいちばんわかってる人。話さなくてもわかってるし、言わなくてもギュウってやってくれる、癒しみたいな感じ。反対に、相談事で逞しいのはNAGI。私を引っ張っていってくれます。NANAKAは一緒にはしゃぐ人。ホテルとかでも2人がいちばんはしゃいでるし、NANAKAと MEGが“いらんことしぃ”です（笑）。
NANAKA MEGは関西風にいうと“ツレ”（笑）。気が合うし、遊びに行くときにいちばん楽しい。NAGIは恋愛相談相手。NAGIの恋はほとんど知ってるし、私のこともほとんど知ってます。MI-MIはライバルじゃないんやけど、そんな感じ。2人とも「がんばろうな」って素振りは見せないんですけど、気持ちでは「一緒に行くで！」みたいな。そういうアイコンタクトで通じ合える人。
Q5：メンバーとの一番思い出に残っているエピソードを教えて！
NAGI 確か小学校3年か4年のときやったと思うんですけど、BRIGHTを結成する前、MEGと2人で組んだことがあるんですね。でも、最初はお互い、自分のことを嫌い同士やと思ってたんです。険悪なムードで、お互いに距離を置いてて。で、たまたまお母さん同士が電話で話してたときにその話になって、「MEGのこと全然嫌いやないで」「え、NAGIに嫌われてると思ってた」みたいな会話になって、それをお母さんから教えてもらって。2人で電話しながら号泣したことがあります（笑）。それからは昨日までが嘘みたいにめっちゃ仲良くなった。それがなかったら今、BRIGHTをやってないかもしれないですね。
MI-MI NANAKAとはお互いの家を泊まりに行き来するんですけど、NANAKAが小6、私が中2くらいのときに、MI-MIの家に泊まりに来たことがあったんです。翌日は一日中何もなくて、そんなにお金もないし、2人で自転車に乗って近くの公園に行ったんですけど、ちょっと道から外れたところに貨物列車が通る線路があって、そこに入れるんです。そこの場所を2人で「ハッピー・アイスクリーム」って名付けて（笑）秘密基地にして、遊んだり、歌の練習したり、いろいろやっていて。そこで思ったことを歌詞に書いたのが「いつまでも・・・」という曲なんです。
MEG MI-MIとは小さいときから一緒なんですけど、小学校高学年のときに、MI-MIと私ともうひとりでダンス・コンテストに出ることになって、ジャネット・ジャクソンさんの「ALL FOR YOU」を毎日公園で夜遅くまで一緒に練習してたんです。で、さあ本番ってなって会場に行ったら、誰も音源を持ってきてなくて（笑）。結局、コンテストに出れず、お母さんにも怒られ、参加賞だけもらって哀しく帰ったっていう思い出があります。本当に3人ともマイペースで、3人とも頼りっぱなしの性格やったんですよね。音源はそれ以降はBRIGHTを組んだんで、担当はNAGIになりました（笑）。良かったです、しっかり者のNAGIに出会えて（笑）。
NANAKA NAGIとはほんまに恋愛相談するんですけど、NAGIのマンションの屋上に行っていつも恋愛の話をしていて。昔、NAGIに好きな人がいて、その人に思いを伝えるか伝えへんかっていうときに、NAGIとそこで30分近く泣いた思い出があります。その人には前から何回も何回もアタックしようかどうしようかって悩んでて、最後の最後に告白しようとしたんだけど、でも、諦めるってなって。私もその人のことは知ってたし、「ああいう人やとNAGIは幸せになられへんから」「絶対他に良い人がおるから」って言って慰めて。NAGIも諦める決心がついて「NANAKAがおったから大丈夫やったわ」みたいな話をして。青春してました（笑）。
Q6：「BRIGHTはこの4人じゃなきゃダメだ」。なぜ、そう思うんですか？
MI-MI この4人やからこそ、言いたいことが言えるんです。「ここはこうやで！」ってキツく言われても「うちのために言ってくれてんねや」ってそれをポジティブに考えられます。この4人だから遠慮がないし、だから、いいものが作れる。いい意味で、喧嘩ができる4人なんです。
NANAKA この４人って、足並みが揃ってるっていうより、抜きつ追われつ、みたいな感じなんです。だから、自分のためにもなるし、3人のためにもなるし、 BRIGHTのためにもなるっていう。他の3人はいろんな面で自分にないものを持ってるんです。MEGはこれができるんだMI-MIはこれがある、 NAGIはこれができる、じゃあ、自分には何ができんねん？ アレがあるからそれを頑張ろう、みたいな。プラス、MI-MIがやってるアレも自分にはできるかもしれへんからやってみよう、みたいな。いつもそうやって刺激を受けられる4人なんです。この4人だったら何も怖くない。何が来ても乗り越えていける自信があるんですよね。
3. HARMONY
信頼できる親友だからこそ生まれる息の合ったハーモニーもBRIGHTの魅力。物心ついた頃からゴスペルを歌ってきた彼女たちは、オリジナル曲はもちろん、1stシングルに収録したエターナルの「Stay」、2ndシングルに収録したアン・ヴォーグの「Free Your Mind」といった洋楽のカバーでも、本家顔負けの本格派コーラスを披露する。BRIGHTが紡ぐコーラスは、とにかくエモーショナルで美しい。
Q7：あなたがいちばんヤラれたコーラス・グループは？ そのグループのどんなところが好き？
NAGI デスティニーズ・チャイルドさんの「Emotion」や「If」のコーラスはすごく好きです。「If」は主旋律を追いかけるコーラスが基本なんですけど、その感じがすごい好きです。「Emotion」のサビとかも3人のハモりがちゃんと軸にあって、いいなと思います。
MI-MI デスティニーズ・チャイルドさん。バック・ストリート・ボーイズさん。日本だとゴスペラーズさん。デスティニーズ・チャイルドさんは3人の合わさった声がすごく好きです。彼女たちの「Stand Up For Love」が大好きで、BRIGHTでもカバーして練習してました。
MEG TLCさんの「Waterfalls」。3人が横に並んでで海の中で歌ってるビデオクリップを見たときは衝撃を受けました。BRIGHTを結成してからこのビデオを知ったんですけど、自分たちもスタンドマイクを置いて横に並んでやってましたし、そういうフォーメーションでコーラスをやってるっていうのがかっこよかったです。
NANAKA デスティニーズ・チャイルドさんの「Emotion」。ヴィブラートのタイミングまで一緒に合わせてるコーラスがすごく好きで。「Emotion」はもうほんまに“コーラス！”っていう感じがして、いちばん好きです。
Q8：普段、コーラスワークを作るときに大切にしていることは？
MI-MI お互いの息を合わせるっていう部分ですね。メンバーが半円になったほうが歌いやすいんです。お互いの顔を見ながら、ブレスを確かめながら歌ってます。昔、他のアーティストさんがメンバーの気持ちをひとつにするのと息切れせずに歌えるように、スタジオをぐるぐる走り周りながらコーラスの練習をするっていう話を聞いたことがあって。BRIGHTでもそういう練習は結構してました。
MEG 人の歌を聴くことです。音程はもちろんですけど、音色とか歌の表情とか音を切るタイミングとか。それは曲調によって全然違ってきますけど、主役の人の歌に自分の声を合わせていく。やっぱり歌はメロディがメインやし、コーラスを活かすためにはメインを活かさなきゃならないんで。歌ってる人に合わせて、自分はちゃんと脇役に徹するようにしてます。
Q9：「I’ll Be There」の聴きどころは？
NAGI サビは4人が同じメロディをユニゾンで歌っているんですけど、それがBRIGHT初の試みです。あと、2番からはハモってる部分が多くなるし、今までやってきた曲の中でもいちばんゴスペルっぽくなったかなと思います。
NANAKA いつもは“ソロを引き立てること”を一番考えてハモってるんですけど、これはみんながソロっていう感じです。ソロの人もコーラスの人も同じテンションで歌ってます。あと、2番からは、Aメロ、Bメロがソロが歌ったあとに同じ言葉をあとから追いかけていくコーラスになっていて。コーラスの面白さが出た曲かなって思います。
4. DANCE
歌より先にダンスレッスンを始めた4人にとって、ダンスはパフォーマンスに不可欠。彼女たちは声を揃えて「ダンスと歌はセット」と言う。ほとんどのミュージックビデオでダンスシーンを採り入れ、ステージでも華麗かつダイナミックに舞うBRIGHT。4人は目でも楽しませてくれる。
Q10：ダンスシーンが印象に残っているビデオクリップは？
NAGI ジャネット・ジャクソンさんの「Rhythm Nation」。スクールの発表会でやったんです。小学校のときはジャズダンスが中心で、こういう踊りをやったことがなかったので、すごいインパクトがあった。あとはデスティニーズ・チャイルドさんの「Lose My Breath」もめっちゃ好き。3人対3人でバトってるシーンとか、すごい好きです。
MI-MI ブリトニー・スピアーズさんの「Me Against The Music featuring Madonna」。迷路みたいなところでブリトニーさんがマドンナさんを追いかけるシーンのフリが激しくて、食いついて見てました。あと、2人のキスシーンも食いついて見てました。見たのが中1くらいだったから、ちょっと刺激が強かったです（笑）。
MEG クリス・ブラウンさんの「Kiss Kiss featuring T-Pain」。バスの上でバック転とか、体育館で全員で踊ってるとか。あとはジャスティン・ティンバーレイクさんの踊り方も好きです。顔の表情もフリの一個、ちょっとした手の置き方もフリの一個だと思うんですが、それがジャスティンさんはすごく奇麗なんです。
NANAKA デスティニーズ・チャイルドさんの「Lose My Breath」はめっちゃ好きです。特にバトルしている相手にかかっていく、ビヨンセさんの“食っていく”みたいな顔がかっこいい。ジャスティン・ティンバーレイクさんのダンスも好きです。彼はポップ～ロックのカンカンカンって決めていく系のダンスで、自分はそういうダンスはあんまりしないんですけど、好きです。
Q11：自分のフリ／ダンスで気をつけていることは？
NAGI 曲によって表現方法を変えていくことを気にして踊ってます。BRIGHTは、ジャズ、ロック、タップ、ガールズヒップホップ、ハウスと、いろいろしてきましたが、私はヒップホップのテイストが強いので。力強さとか躍動感がちゃんと出るようにしてます。
MI-MI 踊るときは手先までちゃんと意識するようにしてます。ダンスの種類で言ったら、私はジャズが好きです。プリエとか、ちょっとバレエっぽいのが好きだから、力強さというよりは、しなやかさとか体のラインの綺麗さとか、そういうところに気をつけてます。
MEG 背丈が３人と違うんで、腰の位置とか3人とのバランスは大切にしてます。得意なダンスはジャズとガールズヒップホップ。女らしい感じのほうが好きなんです。自分でダンスをするときも綺麗さや女性のかわいい感じを出したいと思ってます。
NANAKA 意識してるのは柔らかさですね。柔らかさとか滑らかさはきっちり出したいなって思います。あとは顔の表情。曲に合った顔の表情をつけながら、ダンスにも表情をつけたいです。バンバンって叩く音でも、それは怒って叩いてる音なのか、楽しんで叩いてるのかっていうのを考えて、それをちゃんと表情として出すように気をつけています。
5. SING
4人がソリスト（ソロ・シンガー）としても通用する実力を持ち、さらに黄金のハーモニーで魅了するBRIGHT。彼女たちは、レコーディングの空き時間も、ビデオ収録の合間も、移動中も、片時も歌を口ずさむのをやめない。そんな彼女たちの歌の虜になったオトナたちは数知れず。
R&Bシンガー、Kも驚いた！
最新シングル「手紙」で共演したKさんもBRIGHTの歌声にヤラれた一人。彼がレコーディング現場でBRIGHTに感じたスゴさとは？ 「彼女たちって、歌に対する怖さや迷いがないと感じました。一緒にレコーディングしたときも、レコーディングブースじゃなくってもロビーでもどこでも歌っていて、歌に対する気持ちが強いんだなって感じましたね」
BRIGHTの歌声はGPS発信機！？
4人と行動を共にすることが多いヘアメイクさんによると、いつもBRIGHTは楽屋で歌っているんだそう。鼻歌みたいな感じで一人が歌いだすと、それに合わせて他のメンバーがハモり出すんだとか。「BRIGHTの楽屋からはいつも歌が聞こえてくるので、現場でも迷わず楽屋に辿り着けるんです（笑）」。
苦情を乗り越え涙のライブ！
2007年に行っていた京都新京極商店街でのストリートライブ。商店街から許可はもらってやっていたものの、ライブの場所に一番近いお店から、ライブ初日に苦情が入ってしまったBRIGHT。メンバー自ら必死にお願いをして了解をもらい、地道に活動を続けた結果、1年後の最後のストリートライブでは、そのお店のオーナーとも大の仲良しに。一緒に記念撮影をして涙の卒業ライブとなりました。
ラジカセ一台で300人を集客！
ラジカセ一台＋生の声で行っていたストリートライブ（マイクなし）。商店街ということで、セールの時期はお店の呼び込みや音楽で声が聞き取りにくくなることもしばしば。そうなると、一番伝わりにくいのがMC。考えたメンバーはスケッチブックに「私たちはBRIGHTです」「次に歌う曲は」というように手書きで書いて紙芝居方式でめくるという方法を考案。約300人を集客するようになると、結局、人垣で見えなくなり途中でやめましたが、人に伝えることの難しさと素晴らしさを教えてもらったストリートライブでした。
10時間ぶっ通しで練習！
初めて出演した2007年の「a-nation」。前日は朝9:00からのリハーサルを終え、その後はリハーサル風景を録画したビデオを見ながら反省会。反省するうちに「もう一度細かく確認しよう！」となり、4人で楽屋の机を端に寄せて、再度自主練を開始。歌って踊って「もう一回！」と続けるうちに、最終的に自主練が終わったのは夜20:00。朝に会ったライブスタッフには「あれ？ まだいたの！」と驚かれてしまいました。12分のセットリストでも、練習は自分たちが納得いくまで10時間！ 翌日の本番では堂々としたパフォーマンスを披露したBRIGHTなのでした。
倖田來未など多くのアーティストを手掛けるトラックメイカーも太鼓判！
BRIGHTの「My Girl」や「Girls Party Time」などを手がけるクリエイターがSTYさん。彼もBRIGHTの虜になった一人で「4人それぞれにしっかりした下地とスタイルがあるから、僕も本気になれる」とか。彼が感じるBRIGHTの魅力は、歌唱力と表現力、そして柔軟さ。「突然、“ここにこんなアドリブ入れてみようか”とか、“ここはメロディを少し変えてみよう”といった、ライブっぽいレコーディングセッションに彼女たちは即時に対応できる。いや、それ以上のフィードバックが返ってくるときの方が多いかも」とBRIGHTに太鼓判を押す。曲を作るときは「全員が素晴らしいダンサーでもあるグループなので、ステージ上でダンスを含めたパフォーマンスをするという事を前提にしてビートを打つこと」を心掛けているというSTYさん。「それぞれがとても個性的な声をしているので、そのパーソナリティーが一番素敵に響く落ち所を探すのが楽しい。クリエイターとしては、そんなレコーディングがスリリングであり、刺激的でもありますね」。
4人は生まれついてのシンガー。Natural Born Singstar。MI-MIはこんなことをブログに書いたことがあった。「“歌えなくなる”と“喋れなくなる”だったら、喋れなくなるを取る」。最後はBRIGHTの4人に究極の質問を---。
Q12：あなたにとって「歌」とは何ですか？
NAGI 歌は一緒に人生を歩んでいくパートナーです。人生を歩むのに必要なもの。もし今、音楽が私からなくなったとしたら何をしていいかわからなくなる。死ぬまでずっと携わっていきたいものやし、なくなった途端に死んで倒れちゃう、みたいな。歌は私を支えてくれてる柱みたいなものです。
MI-MI 歌は体の一部。歌がなくなったらっていうことを考えたことがないし、もしどこかで1日歌うなとか、1日聞くなって言われたら必死で逃げだしちゃうと思います。学校とかでも、気づいたら歌っちゃってるんです。ボーッとしてたら口動いてる、ぐらいの感じなんですよね。
MEG 歌は私に夢を与えてくれたもの。歌がなかったら夢もなくて、この先、どうしてたかわからないです。あと、歌は常に変わっていくものだから自分を成長させてくれるだと思ってます。歌は聴くのも、歌うのも、どっちも好き。これからもずっと歌で夢は見続けます。
NANAKA 自分の命と同じくらい大切なもの。歌は人に気持ちを伝えるときの道具やし、自分を表現するのも歌じゃないとできないです。日常にあるものに例えたら、空気。空気を吸わないと生きていけないけど、いつも触れているもの。自然なものなんですけど、でも、いちばん大切なものなんです。

Brightly Point of BRIGHT
1. VOICE
大阪出身、平均年齢17歳のコーラスグループ、BRIGHT。
デビュー前の彼女たちは京都を中心に約1年に渡ってストリートライブを展開し、持ち前の性格(声格)の良さで多くの道行く人たちを振り向かせてきた。
メンバーはMEG、MI-MI、NANAKA、NAGIの4人。
改めて、彼女たちの素晴らしい歌キャラ＝声格をご紹介。
Q1：メンバーのパート／歌声の特徴を教えてください。
NAGI MI-MIとNANAKAのパートがメゾ（中音域）です。MI-MIの声はハスキーで、ちょっと柔らかいです。昔はさらにハスキーでした。NANAKAの声は上にスコーンと抜ける感じの声ですね。あと、ファルセット（裏声）を使ったら4人の中で一番高い声が出ます。MEGがソプラノ(高音域)担当しています。MEGは昔から地声が高くて、超音波オンナって呼ばれてたくらい（笑）。彼女の声は、声変わりする前の男の子っていうか、かわいい曲に合うと思います。あと、言葉のひとつひとつがクリアで、聴き取りやすいです。私、NAGIはアルト（低音域）を担当しています。
NANAKA NAGIの声は4人の中では、いちばん太くて力強いです。歌い方の特徴は、力強いロングトーンですね。ゴスペルのフェイクとかによくある、声張り上げて一緒にどんどんフェイクしあっていくっていうのがめっちゃNAGIにはまります。
Q2：それぞれ他のメンバーの、その歌声がいちばん発揮できてると思う曲名を教えて！
MI-MI NAGIの「Stay」の声がめっちゃ好きです。イントロでのロングトーンや、最後も力強いロングトーンがNAGIって感じですね。あと、ロングトーンではないんですけど、「My Girl」のBメロのNAGIの声も好きですね。
NAGI MI-MIには「Missin'U」が特に合ってると思います。最後のサビをMI-MIが歌ってるんですけど、そこの高音が特に好きです。
NANAKA 「いつまでも・・・」の最初の部分が、MEGのかわいらしい声が活きてるなって思います。MEGは元々地声が高いから、「Tears」の♪二人照らす♪の部分も全部地声でやってて、3人で「高っかーい！」って言いました（笑）。
MEG NANAKAのクリアな声は「Brightest Star」が特に発揮されてるって思います。あと「Free Your Mind」の最後のフェイクもめっちゃ高い音を出してて、それも聴きどころです、ってなんか自画自賛グループみたいですけど（笑）。
2. FRIENDSHIP
BRIGHTの4人は小学生のときからの幼なじみ。同じレッスン教室に通い、時には励まし合い、ふざけあって、たまには涙しながら、ダンスと歌のスキルを磨いてきた。苦労も喜びも共に重ねてきた4人だからこそ生まれた強い絆。彼女たちは言う。「BRIGHTはこの4人じゃなきゃダメなんです」と。
Q3：自分以外のメンバーのBRIGHTでのポジション（役割）を教えて！
MEG MI-MIがお母さんで、NAGIがお父さん。NAGIは亭主関白なんですけど（笑）、BRIGHTの活動をまとめてくれる大黒柱です。で、NANAKA が長女で、MEGが次女。それは精神年齢順（笑）。NANAKAの方が実際には私より年下ですけど、ライブのMCをやったりとか、考えが大人っぽいんです。
NAGI MEGはムードメイカー。NANAKAは天然入ってるから、ツッコミどころ満載の（笑）ムードメイカー。MI-MIはしっかりしていて、結構頑固なところがあるタイプ。メンバーを精神的な部分でまとめてくれてます。
Q4：自分以外のメンバーは、あなたにとってどんな人？

MI-MI この4人やからこそ、言いたいことが言えるんです。「ここはこうやで！」ってキツく言われても「うちのために言ってくれてんねや」ってそれをポジティブに考えられます。この4人だから遠慮がないし、だから、いいものが作れる。いい意味で、喧嘩ができる4人なんです。

NAGI デスティニーズ・チャイルドさんの「Emotion」や「If」のコーラスはすごく好きです。「If」は主旋律を追いかけるコーラスが基本なんですけど、その感じがすごい好きです。「Emotion」のサビとかも3人のハモりがちゃんと軸にあって、いいなと思います。
MI-MI デスティニーズ・チャイルドさん。バック・ストリート・ボーイズさん。日本だとゴスペラーズさん。デスティニーズ・チャイルドさんは3人の合わさった声がすごく好きです。彼女たちの「Stand Up For Love」が大好きで、BRIGHTでもカバーして練習してました。
MEG TLCさんの「Waterfalls」。3人が横に並んでで海の中で歌ってるビデオクリップを見たときは衝撃を受けました。BRIGHTを結成してからこのビデオを知ったんですけど、自分たちもスタンドマイクを置いて横に並んでやってましたし、そういうフォーメーションでコーラスをやってるっていうのがかっこよかったです。
NANAKA デスティニーズ・チャイルドさんの「Emotion」。ヴィブラートのタイミングまで一緒に合わせてるコーラスがすごく好きで。「Emotion」はもうほんまに“コーラス！”っていう感じがして、いちばん好きです。
Q8：普段、コーラスワークを作るときに大切にしていることは？
MI-MI お互いの息を合わせるっていう部分ですね。メンバーが半円になったほうが歌いやすいんです。お互いの顔を見ながら、ブレスを確かめながら歌ってます。昔、他のアーティストさんがメンバーの気持ちをひとつにするのと息切れせずに歌えるように、スタジオをぐるぐる走り周りながらコーラスの練習をするっていう話を聞いたことがあって。BRIGHTでもそういう練習は結構してました。
MEG 人の歌を聴くことです。音程はもちろんですけど、音色とか歌の表情とか音を切るタイミングとか。それは曲調によって全然違ってきますけど、主役の人の歌に自分の声を合わせていく。やっぱり歌はメロディがメインやし、コーラスを活かすためにはメインを活かさなきゃならないんで。歌ってる人に合わせて、自分はちゃんと脇役に徹するようにしてます。
Q9：「I’ll Be There」の聴きどころは？
NAGI サビは4人が同じメロディをユニゾンで歌っているんですけど、それがBRIGHT初の試みです。あと、2番からはハモってる部分が多くなるし、今までやってきた曲の中でもいちばんゴスペルっぽくなったかなと思います。
NANAKA いつもは“ソロを引き立てること”を一番考えてハモってるんですけど、これはみんながソロっていう感じです。ソロの人もコーラスの人も同じテンションで歌ってます。あと、2番からは、Aメロ、Bメロがソロが歌ったあとに同じ言葉をあとから追いかけていくコーラスになっていて。コーラスの面白さが出た曲かなって思います。
4. DANCE
歌より先にダンスレッスンを始めた4人にとって、ダンスはパフォーマンスに不可欠。彼女たちは声を揃えて「ダンスと歌はセット」と言う。ほとんどのミュージックビデオでダンスシーンを採り入れ、ステージでも華麗かつダイナミックに舞うBRIGHT。4人は目でも楽しませてくれる。
Q10：ダンスシーンが印象に残っているビデオクリップは？
NAGI ジャネット・ジャクソンさんの「Rhythm Nation」。スクールの発表会でやったんです。小学校のときはジャズダンスが中心で、こういう踊りをやったことがなかったので、すごいインパクトがあった。あとはデスティニーズ・チャイルドさんの「Lose My Breath」もめっちゃ好き。3人対3人でバトってるシーンとか、すごい好きです。
MI-MI ブリトニー・スピアーズさんの「Me Against The Music featuring Madonna」。迷路みたいなところでブリトニーさんがマドンナさんを追いかけるシーンのフリが激しくて、食いついて見てました。あと、2人のキスシーンも食いついて見てました。見たのが中1くらいだったから、ちょっと刺激が強かったです（笑）。
MEG クリス・ブラウンさんの「Kiss Kiss featuring T-Pain」。バスの上でバック転とか、体育館で全員で踊ってるとか。あとはジャスティン・ティンバーレイクさんの踊り方も好きです。顔の表情もフリの一個、ちょっとした手の置き方もフリの一個だと思うんですが、それがジャスティンさんはすごく奇麗なんです。
NANAKA デスティニーズ・チャイルドさんの「Lose My Breath」はめっちゃ好きです。特にバトルしている相手にかかっていく、ビヨンセさんの“食っていく”みたいな顔がかっこいい。ジャスティン・ティンバーレイクさんのダンスも好きです。彼はポップ～ロックのカンカンカンって決めていく系のダンスで、自分はそういうダンスはあんまりしないんですけど、好きです。
Q11：自分のフリ／ダンスで気をつけていることは？
NAGI 曲によって表現方法を変えていくことを気にして踊ってます。BRIGHTは、ジャズ、ロック、タップ、ガールズヒップホップ、ハウスと、いろいろしてきましたが、私はヒップホップのテイストが強いので。力強さとか躍動感がちゃんと出るようにしてます。
MI-MI 踊るときは手先までちゃんと意識するようにしてます。ダンスの種類で言ったら、私はジャズが好きです。プリエとか、ちょっとバレエっぽいのが好きだから、力強さというよりは、しなやかさとか体のラインの綺麗さとか、そういうところに気をつけてます。
MEG 背丈が３人と違うんで、腰の位置とか3人とのバランスは大切にしてます。得意なダンスはジャズとガールズヒップホップ。女らしい感じのほうが好きなんです。自分でダンスをするときも綺麗さや女性のかわいい感じを出したいと思ってます。
NANAKA 意識してるのは柔らかさですね。柔らかさとか滑らかさはきっちり出したいなって思います。あとは顔の表情。曲に合った顔の表情をつけながら、ダンスにも表情をつけたいです。バンバンって叩く音でも、それは怒って叩いてる音なのか、楽しんで叩いてるのかっていうのを考えて、それをちゃんと表情として出すように気をつけています。

BRIGHTの歌声はGPS発信機！？
4人と行動を共にすることが多いヘアメイクさんによると、いつもBRIGHTは楽屋で歌っているんだそう。鼻歌みたいな感じで一人が歌いだすと、それに合わせて他のメンバーがハモり出すんだとか。「BRIGHTの楽屋からはいつも歌が聞こえてくるので、現場でも迷わず楽屋に辿り着けるんです（笑）」。
苦情を乗り越え涙のライブ！
2007年に行っていた京都新京極商店街でのストリートライブ。商店街から許可はもらってやっていたものの、ライブの場所に一番近いお店から、ライブ初日に苦情が入ってしまったBRIGHT。メンバー自ら必死にお願いをして了解をもらい、地道に活動を続けた結果、1年後の最後のストリートライブでは、そのお店のオーナーとも大の仲良しに。一緒に記念撮影をして涙の卒業ライブとなりました。
ラジカセ一台で300人を集客！
ラジカセ一台＋生の声で行っていたストリートライブ（マイクなし）。商店街ということで、セールの時期はお店の呼び込みや音楽で声が聞き取りにくくなることもしばしば。そうなると、一番伝わりにくいのがMC。考えたメンバーはスケッチブックに「私たちはBRIGHTです」「次に歌う曲は」というように手書きで書いて紙芝居方式でめくるという方法を考案。約300人を集客するようになると、結局、人垣で見えなくなり途中でやめましたが、人に伝えることの難しさと素晴らしさを教えてもらったストリートライブでした。
10時間ぶっ通しで練習！
初めて出演した2007年の「a-nation」。前日は朝9:00からのリハーサルを終え、その後はリハーサル風景を録画したビデオを見ながら反省会。反省するうちに「もう一度細かく確認しよう！」となり、4人で楽屋の机を端に寄せて、再度自主練を開始。歌って踊って「もう一回！」と続けるうちに、最終的に自主練が終わったのは夜20:00。朝に会ったライブスタッフには「あれ？ まだいたの！」と驚かれてしまいました。12分のセットリストでも、練習は自分たちが納得いくまで10時間！ 翌日の本番では堂々としたパフォーマンスを披露したBRIGHTなのでした。

BRIGHTの「My Girl」や「Girls Party Time」などを手がけるクリエイターがSTYさん。彼もBRIGHTの虜になった一人で「4人それぞれにしっかりした下地とスタイルがあるから、僕も本気になれる」とか。彼が感じるBRIGHTの魅力は、歌唱力と表現力、そして柔軟さ。「突然、“ここにこんなアドリブ入れてみようか”とか、“ここはメロディを少し変えてみよう”といった、ライブっぽいレコーディングセッションに彼女たちは即時に対応できる。いや、それ以上のフィードバックが返ってくるときの方が多いかも」とBRIGHTに太鼓判を押す。曲を作るときは「全員が素晴らしいダンサーでもあるグループなので、ステージ上でダンスを含めたパフォーマンスをするという事を前提にしてビートを打つこと」を心掛けているというSTYさん。「それぞれがとても個性的な声をしているので、そのパーソナリティーが一番素敵に響く落ち所を探すのが楽しい。クリエイターとしては、そんなレコーディングがスリリングであり、刺激的でもありますね」。

NAGI 歌は一緒に人生を歩んでいくパートナーです。人生を歩むのに必要なもの。もし今、音楽が私からなくなったとしたら何をしていいかわからなくなる。死ぬまでずっと携わっていきたいものやし、なくなった途端に死んで倒れちゃう、みたいな。歌は私を支えてくれてる柱みたいなものです。
MI-MI 歌は体の一部。歌がなくなったらっていうことを考えたことがないし、もしどこかで1日歌うなとか、1日聞くなって言われたら必死で逃げだしちゃうと思います。学校とかでも、気づいたら歌っちゃってるんです。ボーッとしてたら口動いてる、ぐらいの感じなんですよね。
MEG 歌は私に夢を与えてくれたもの。歌がなかったら夢もなくて、この先、どうしてたかわからないです。あと、歌は常に変わっていくものだから自分を成長させてくれるだと思ってます。歌は聴くのも、歌うのも、どっちも好き。これからもずっと歌で夢は見続けます。

I started listening to this group after reading through this thread and have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I agree that they do have a CSJH vibe but that's a good thing in they can actually sing (compared to the other girl groups in Japan)

I'm sorry to say this but the MV sucked. The flashy disco lights at the beginning and the 70s-esque clothes of the girls made it seem tacky.
But the song and the girls rocked!!! *o* I won't lie that songs like this are more of my liking, so yeah, I'm loving every second of it!^^ And the only best part in the MV was the girls dancing in front of the crowd.
Methinks Bright should be given a higher budget and better promotion from Avex.
Ugh, why do all the good groups given sucky treatment from major labels while crappy ones are given more spotlight than they deserve???
