Story

Jin Kazama is a young and talented fighter with a dark energy within him. The Devil Gene he has inherited from his father, Kazuya Mishima, is slowly tearing him apart and consuming his mind with evil and hate. He now realizes that the only way he can save himself is to not only confront his father, but his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima, as well. Both Kazuya and Heihachi have their own agendas for what they want with Jin's power. It's coming to a head at The King of Iron Fist Tournament: a fighting tournament sponsored by Heihachi where the winner will receive 1 billion dollars, ownership of Heihachi's company, and be crowned the greatest fighter on Earth.

I honestly think this movie despite the amount of good martial artists that fit their characters
is gonna be asstastic, but I guess with crap like "Legend of Chun li" and "Dragonball" coming out that's gonna suck even more it's gonna make Tekken look good so it might do well.

LOL. The actress who plays Piper from Charmed is Michelle Chang! XD Oh man, the cast here is interesting and slightly better than the other game-turned-movies that's coming up...I actually recognize some of the actors/actresses here and at least most of their physical features slightly fit their game counterparts.

BUT where's Hwoarang? You can't have Tekken without Hwoarang! Or Lei Wulong...there's actually a lot...but I guess you can't fit all of them in...

Not too familiar with the casting, but lets just have hopes It doesn't become a major flop like the other gaming/anime turned live Action movies...

I'll watch this for the martial arts cause the Tekken series has always been one of the closest in terms of real life martial arts and cause Tekken is probably my favourite fighting game. Chiaki Kuriyama as my favourite, Xiaoyu. Niceeeeeeee. (H)

He was also the guy that did capoiera in the fire fight against Tony Jaa in Ong Bak.

^ Yeah, the makers drew inspiration from Eddy Gordo, hence hiring him for that awesome fire scene.

Nathan Jones and Lateef Crowder were the only real good castings I guess. I like how they use a lot of unknowns though.

Is this for real? I thought the idea was scrapped up. Great, now they're totally going to taint my favorite video game of all time. Oh, geez. As stupid as this movie looks already, I know I'm going to watch it.

What the hell is Holly Marie Combs doing in a movie like this? (Guess I'm just too used to Piper, lol.) I like how they included Dragonov and other recent characters but not Hwoarang. And who the hell is Kara and Sapphire? Last I remember, there were no characters with those names.

It'd be cool though if these "Kara" and "Sapphire" were made into actual Tekken characters in the game later on, like how X-Men vs Street Fighter incorporated Charlie after the original Street Fighter movie.

I found promotional shots of Bryan Fury fighting I think Jin, but I can't seem to find them anymore. :S I only remember that the guy doing Bryan was WAY to skinny to be a buff cyborg maniac.

I loved all the Tekken games... But I'm not sure about this movie yet... I'd have to say it's going to be hard to get good reviews for this movie.

Actually the Japanese already made a Sailor Moon live action series. It was very similar to the first season of power rangers

I really hope Namco or something releases a CGI film instead like Final Fantasy. CGI always looks better than live action anyway, in my opinion. I mean, how are they going to do Heihachi's hair in this movie? And who, or what is going to play Yoshimitsu, or Toshin, or any of the other crazy beasts from the game? Plus, if they do a CGI, I think the movie would relate to the game more... I just don't want this movie to turn out like crap, honestly.
