Wondering has anyone else besides me here have heard or been listening to this guy. His real name is Aubrey Graham and he played Jimmy in Degrassi. The stage name he goes by is DRAKE (supposedly a name his first girlfriend used with him, who passed away) and I think he as been signed by Young Money. He has two albums already out called Room for Improvement (really good) and Comeback Season (really recommend) . He has a mixtape and album coming out this year. His is a rapper, but is a versatile artist, so he can do RnB, and others genres. Just wanted to create a topic for him because I know he deserves one and the guy is pretty sick.

Anyway, I found out about him and want to others to know about him because he is a great artist and offer a refreshment within hip-hop. He is also original, which is much needed. He has song for everyone, male and female. He is just smooth.

I just want to share opinions, thoughts about him. What songs you like/dislike the best and if you haven't heard him, alot of his songs are on YouTube and Imeem if any is interested. If you want to make the effort, his songs are out there to download and such. Criticism is fine, as long as it isn't racially motivated, hateful, etc.

Favorite song as of right now is The Presentation and Think Good Thoughts, but ALL of them are pretty good to me.

I guess the "Every Girl" song is bringing hm to the limelight now. He's actually quite good. I really like "Best I ever had" and "Brand New." I was surprised to hear him sing.

i remember when he came out with a single a couple years ago (i wanna say around 2005?), and i thought it was so odd to see him rapping since i was used to him in degrassi. then i heard nothing else about him as far as music, and then BAM this year he just blew up. it seems like he's pretty popular here in chicago; i know a lot of people who love his mixtape. dude is really good. :]

i partly wanted to go to lil wayne's concert cause of him, but then i won tickets to meet t-pain at the same concert so ... he kind of went on the backburner until he performed. he's not too great, but i like him.
