1) Can you take self shots? (is there a camera in the front that is not only for video call)
2) Can it type in Korean? (*impt!)
3) Is it better than LG Viewty?

i just change my viewty to cookies 3 days ago..

1. there's no front camera.
2. i think it read can, but write no. but you can write in tradisional and simplyfied chinese.
3. for me i like this phone better than viewty, cos its more slimmer, lighter, the flash animation more catchier, and theres accelerator and widget! but, theres no front camera, it only have 3 megapixel.

honestly i more enjoyed this phone than my viewty.

But not sure whether it can be written using the keypads things.........

The camera isn't as good as the viewty, I think the viewty has 5mp.
But it's so much slimmer and lighter.
The chunkiness of the viewty put me off.

Yea... my sis just got herself a viewty (pink). It looks nice especially the camera but it's so... thick. That's why I'm going for cookie

btw if u turn on the sound in the profile, why it always theres a vibration when i touch something?
i already turn off the vibration, but the vibration thing is still on when i touch the screen..

I'm used to not a fan of touchscreens, because a friend of mine have a samsung omnia and she is always complaining about it. But when I saw the LG cookie on tv I was in loove! I think I'm going to get one soon, it's a quite simple phone and the price is reasonable.

My friend just got a cookie last week, I think its' design is pretty trendy and the price is reasonable for a phone with touch screen.
It is slim though...
With a 3mp camera, the quality of the picture is just average, plus it doesn't equip with flash light,
but overall, I love this phone...but too bad I just have a samsung F480 half years ago T^T

the camera on the viewty is better yes but that's not much of a difference and it doesn't really matter if you don't use your phone as a substitute camera. i like the cookie better also because of it's slimness and user interface which is why i just ordered one in pink it should come on april 9! when it does i will do a full on review : )

I got the LG Cookie a couple of days ago. I got myself a pink one which is completely cute. I would have gotten the white one but couldn't wait. hehe. To me the 3mp camera is perfectly fine (no flash, though). Everything is okay so far. Its smaller than I had imagined. xD

And yes, you can text in Korean (among 30 different languages o_o) its the last one on the list. I wish it had Wifi, though. LOL.

I just got this phone yesterday. So far I like it. Simple to use and it's thin and light. I'm just trying to figure out how to setup the mms for tmobile. I'm able to change settings for the samsung, but I can't find it for the cookie.

I have a black cookie with silver lining... i thought they had a red lining, but it's ok. Also, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a case for this phone. Thanks!!

you can get the case for it on ebay! i ordered mine last week from a seller i'm familiar with. it's very reliable. heres the link it ships from HK but it just takes about a week to arrive because the seller ships fast.

i bought this phone before it was released.. it got pretty boring after a while since it doesn't have wifi or whatever. you can use an mp3 as a text alert. the case that you can buy is clear or rubber but its pretty bulky. the quality of the camera is kinda pixelated which is sometimes annoying. the one thing that i hate the most about this phone is that since i bought it before it came out, there was still problems with the software so it restarts sometimes.. and that the pink one came out months after the other colors =(

I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to where I could purchase one the LG KP500? Any online sellers you trust? BTW, I'm in NYC and I'm planning to buy this phone (hopefully in pink!) but I just wanted to get some soompiers' recommendations first.

Yeah, it's hard to find the pink one. There's two versions of the pink though. The hot pink and the baby pink. The hot pink one is more common, but the call and end buttons on the bottom aren't like the others, they're not square.

I've got one. Mine's pink lol. You can write in all sorts of languages... chinese (traditional & simplified & HK-style!), thai, vietnamese..., polish.. russian... whatever your heart desires.
but japanese. (the one i need!) XD

I don't have my phone cable to show a picture, but if you hold the LG Cookie steady, you get fair quality pics. Quite clear~

I just got my pink LG cookie yesterday and, after playing around with it all last night, I've got to say... I love it! It's so cute and easy to use...

I do have this phone with AT&T and I have yet to get it working!
I realized that the problem was with my 3G card. I've heard that the phone will work with the older 128k sim cards... but those are pretty difficult to find. The sim card that you should invest in is the sim card that has a more square/rounded-square shape on the back (the actual gold part).. since the LG Cookie tends to like that better, I hear.
The sim card I ordered should be arriving tomorrow.. and if I get it activated and all goes well, I will be sure to come back here to update!

Hey, I got a question about the LG Cookie.

I'm a proud order of a pink one, lol. But I recently had problems. I tried to put some music on via USB Cable, and 2 tracks just make my phone turn off completely, whilst 1 works?
So I deleted the 2 tracks that dun be working and my 1 track still works.

Could it be the song files? or is it the phone? Anyone else had this problem? :X I've only had it since April 9th (my bday) and I ain't dropped it or nothing.
