Super Boys is NOT a boyband. Most of them are solo artists. There's Chen Chusheng, who composes 99% of his own songs and whose single song "Has anyone ever told you" was downloaded as ringtones more than all of SHE's songs combined in 2008; Allen Su, whose R&B singing and composing provide a huge contrast with his adorable dimples; Jason Zhang, whose love story is almost as beautiful as his voice; Wei Chen, whose smile is so sweet that a judge described him as vanilla ice cream; Lu Hu, who writes half of Wei Chen's songs; Wang Yuexin, who's as hyper as his dolphin voice is high; Yu Haoming, who's as handsome as Rui, his character in the mainland Hana Yori Dango; Amu, who brings with him the vastness and natural beauty of Inner Mongolia; Top Combine, the boyband whose most popular song was written by one of its own members; and many others.

Super Boys is an American Idol-esque show following the success of Super Girls. The winners of Super Girls and Boys have since then dominated the mainland music scene, changing it rapidly. The top 13 all signed under EE Media. 11th place Zhang Yuan and three others then underwent training to form the boyband Top Combine.

Yu Haoming and Wang Yuexin were too good of friends before to really have the two be paired with anyone else...everyone close with them were tagged along as daddy (Zhang Jie) or brother (Su Xing)....

Does anyone know a good program to cut programs to put on youtube? There was a variety show episode of Kuai le 2008 where they were on two different teams for swimming, and Wang Yuexin was on the losing team (An Youqi's team, which doomed them because she can't swim and doggy paddled her way slowly to the finish while wearing floats. XD)

The punishment for losing was throwing the other team into the pool. Then the boys on the winning team slowly set An Youqi in the water, and Yu Haoming then threw Wang Yuexin in. Then Wang Yuexin pulled him in.

I've always wanted to put that episode up. It was so fun. I loved that show! And the boys were shirtless. XD Yu Haoming didn't look bad. Wang Yuexin of course looked fit.

download this pdf. It has links to all the video editing programs you need. Haven't tried any of them since I use a mac. But Hurtwou, the one that converted to all rmvb to .avi files, said she had good success with the applications. A splitter is on page 13.

I saw a tieba for SuYu. That's what it is called, just SuYu like their last names. Yeah...MingYue has too much of a stronghold over any other pairing. But alternative pairings are sometimes good.

For Mac, MPEG Streamclip is good. I know better applications but in terms of easy to use and price (free), MPEG Streamclip is the best option. The one shortcoming is that it doesn't work like other "splitter" where you can tell it to split into how many parts, how many minutes in each part. You'll have to physically move the cursor and 'extract' the specific clips you want. Its more of a chop and slice.

Edit: And yay it splits flv? That'll definitely be useful for those really long vids on tieba.

I'm a bit busy the first half of this week, but I will be back to post goodies in this thread toward the second half of the week.

I own all three versions of Wang Yuexin's first EP because this is what happens when there's no release date in sight for a new album) and I might try my hand at scanning although I suck at that. ^^

nodds. his fans are probably the most dedicated of the Super Boys...when they were filming Le Huo Nan Hai, his fans devised a meal-by-meal perfectly nutritiously balanced menu for all three months, with different dishes every single meal, and then had various fans make/buy them for him every meal...

his overseas fans also got him this 80,000dollar microphone from the US... (yeah...poor Zhang Jie doesn't have awesome sponsors like Jane Zhang who gives her one per year for free)

^^ i think you're probably one of hte few taht like haoming through metoer shower hehe, when i watch meteor shower i kinda find it draggy i watch the first 10 eps completely but then like 11-30 i only watch for duanmu scenes and 31-36 i watch them completely, i guess i was watching this at first b/c it was related to HYD but then storyline is quite different so i continue it because i just want to watach it for haoming's acting, not bad for a first big role in a drama, too bad i think if it was his real voice he may have appeal better

SO apparently news have came out about a remake of Huan Zhu Ge Ge by Hunan TV?

I think that the only way it'll be good is if they make it a musical or if they go back to the Han/Tang/Song dynasty, where they had pretty clothes.

But if it's just MS-like advertising, Hunan does have a script about a prince and a modern guy who somehow switches places that they were going to do two years ago...could that be it? That script is rumored to be in the Qing, though, and I hate Qing foreheads.

But if they do HZGG...

Huang Ying should be HanXiang (Princess Fragrant/the butterfly princess in HZGG2).

Wei Chen should be WuAiGe because he reminds me a bit of Alec Su. ;b If eeMedia hates him so much, he can be Er'tai and Huang Ying Saiya.

Zhang Han or Yu Haoming can be Erkang.

^^ yeah zhangjie is a great singer, i thought for the competition he would have place higher than suxing and weichan but yeah it's all the votings, talent wise he could have been higher

by the way, anyone know where i can go download the National Preliminaries Episodes (快乐男声48小时突围赛)of Super Boy competition? i felt like rewatching it again but also want to keep a copy and not just watch it at tudou.. i try bt sites and yeah the files are like dead b/c no seeds... if u know where i can go download please direct me

BUT, BUT, i LOVE his 'Perfect Match' song when it came out,
my roomy told me to listen to it and i fell in love with it,

^^ the winner is no longer in the same company as them, the only one i have listen to in super boys are wang yuexin and haoming

does anyone know if chen chusheng have an album out? the only super boy that have an album out is zhang jie right?
