I think I drink a lot more often, but it's more social drinking. I almost never get drunk like back in college.. I can't take it like I used to, must be getting old o.O
Sometimes I really like having a beer after work though, esp when I get home after 2-3 am. It's not even so much the beer itself that is enjoyable, I think it's more the symbolism.. hahha, it's like 'your day has officially ended, congrats!'

I find I drink on a more regular basis but much less than I used to, if that makes sense. Like, I will drink 1-2 drinks a week but I very rarely drink to get drunk anymore.

about once a month.. not a big drinker

I don't drink as much as I'd like to.
Probably b/c I'm a social drinker and all our buddies are moving away, there aren't many people to hang out with anymore (at least not enough of the ones I actually want as company).

I guess it depends on how we define "drinking". I think many of us consider "drinking" to be a party, get together, night out, etc. In that case, I'd say maybe once every two months on average (not even). Now if its just a bottle of beer during a game, glass of wine during dinner, or a small glass of liquor to just relax, I do it quite often; 3-4x a week.

I only drink with friends or with my brother & dad. Not very often. Never did believe in drinking by myself
I've never been a big drinker anyway, but it is less than when I was a teenager even...

Lol i'm like that too. Since I graduated high school I drink less and less. I never drink to get trashed and when I do drink something I have like a beer or a cocktail. That's not that often either. Maybe a couple times a month. I've never been the party type.

A drink a day.
Studies have also indicated that one drink a day may prevent some sort of disease for men according to British studies. Makes it more of an incentive to drink!
Yes, yes..I know my limits and I am not an alcoholic (Though they say these are the exact words of the alcoholic)

Since I've turned 21, I've been drinking a lot more. About a couple times a week. I don't drink for the sole purpose of getting buzzed or drunk... I'll have a beer to substitute for that one glass of wine that doctors recommend everyday.

i'm the opposite.. i have been drinking more since i turned 21.
I have a beer or 2, cocktail, or glass of wine almost everyday
(not an alcoholic! but.. only time i question myself is when i come home around 8am after night shift and have couple of shots of vodka.. haha of course, it's to help me sleep)
i don't drink to get wasted.. that happens 2-3 times a month
ironically at work, i take care of people with liver failure from ALCOHOL.. then I go home to drink

I go out drinking almost every weekend. Now that I think about it..that may just be the source of my weight gain..I've never been a victim of the "freshmen 15" or beer belly when I was in college (in fact, I was about 20 lbs lighter in college than in high school) yet I've put on about 8-10lbs since I graduated college last year..I blame the mimosas+screwdrives at brunch..the sangrias and wine during my Saturday lunches, and the Patron and Goose shots+beer+soju+girly sugary cocktails on Friday nights. I should cut back..it's hurting my wallet+waistline

Well..it's just social drinking so it's something I
can try to live without or reduce..I'm not the glass of wine with dinner every night type or sipping on bourbon while reading my book before bed type either. whew.

Every day or else I'd dehydrate.
As for alcoholic beverages, it's once or twice a month. It ranges from 2-6+ drinks, depending on the occasion.

Man, I really agree with the OP..
I used to drink about 3-4 times a week (Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun) or so.. now that I'm corporate, I barely drink at all. At most maybe once every few weeks (socially), or a glass of scotch when I'm in the mood.

I only drink occasionally...even when I was in my teens... I wasn't into alcohol. I didn't need it to have fun or to fit in even when my friends pressure me. Now probably when I go out and social, of course it depends on the place I am going.

When I was younger I was drunk 4 days a week, including exam weeks. Now, I drink much less. A lot of it has to do with pleasant company or lack thereof. Another is dealing with how to get home from the bar now that you've got a car to take care of. I like to drink in places where there's dancing or anarchists or, you know, trouble in general. Unfortunately, there aren't that many grimy places to drink in now that I'm in law school.

i used to be a crazy drinker like every night then go to work the next day lol. after I turned 24 I started slowing down a bit and now im just really lazy lol.
I think it really depends on how crazy you go drinking when you were younger. The crazier you were, the earlier you would start quittin lol

I'm one of those weirdos who never drinks and has never been drunk.

I'm not religious or allergic, I just have never liked the taste of alcohol. The smell of some types of alcohol is enough to make me want to throw up (Baijiu, I'm talking about you!). Needless to say the bar scene isn't really my thing

unless they've got a happenin' dance floor.

Really, you can only drink so much watered-down coke.

Here the age limit of drinking is 18, so everyone starts sooner (illegaly of course). When I started drinking it was legal to drink alcho for anyone at any age. Two years after that that rule came..
And when I got legal in my country I got bored of partying and drinking. Now I rarely drink, and if I do, I do it just for the taste itself. Sometimes a glass of wine goes well with my meal..
