i've moved from internet explorer to mozilla firefox and i've stayed with firefox for a really long time because it's so reliable. but now i've moved onto chrome just to try it out and it's working wonderfully for me. the layout is nice and some of the features come in really handy. however i find that it's still not too popular but people should give it a chance.

I'm currently using it, but with Windows 7 it tends to have quite a bit of bugs. I get a bunch of page crashes. I still like it though.

scrolling is really crappy on Chrome...I'm so used to the smooth scrolling on FF, if Chrome gets that feature, then it'll probably get a 2nd shot from me

Hmm... I changed from Opera to Google Chrome
But on Opera, i'm so used to pressing Ctrl+Z to get back tabs and google Chrome doesn't do that xD
When I first got Google Chrome I also got annoyed that I couldn't change the theme colour
But I do love it.

I'm just SO loving this, love the layout, clean, sleek and simple.
Although they still have some things that are lacking but they'll improve in the future.
I'm loving it so far, far more than firefox? Hmm.... but i still use both firefox and chrome. Both are good stuffs.

chrome looks promising but i really feel no need to switch from firefox to chrome. firefox works perfectly for me so there's no point to switch. plus like someone said, firefox has tons of plugins.

Mar 28 2009, 12:13 PM
I like it, used it for about 5 months and it's pretty good!
Pros:
Very fast loading, simple layout
Layout isn't as cluttered like FF
Nicely detailed history ^^
Con:
Heard that Chrome has some issues on online banking and they might get your info.. so just use FF if you're gonna make purchases on the internet with electronic banking/payment.
Took me a while to find the bookmark manager
I think Safari 3 bopped off of Chrome a bit xD

I use Chrome. At first I didn't like it but it's much more convenient in terms of speed... But there are a lot of bugs that I can't seem to fix. Like Java and logging in to some of my accounts, so I just use Firefox for those. ):

I'm liking Chrome so far. I've only started using it yesterday, but it's very promising. It's so sleek and fast. I was having some problems with Firefox anyway, so I made the switch. Chrome > Firefox > IE
The only issue I have with Chrome at the moment is the scrolling; it's not as smooth as Firefox. :T

I've been using CHROME ever since my stupid FF crashed on me

! But back on topic, CHROME is very fast compared too all the browsers.
& for everyone who has scrolling problems, I usually don't have that unless there's madd images on the page i'm viewing, besides that, great -thumbs up- ! oh & almost forgot, I don't think chrome has a WORK offline option, is there? because I'm dying to work offline :/!

Mar 29 2009, 04:37 PM
oddly enough, FF crashes more than Chrome for me. i'm only using Chrome because for some reason, FF won't get a connection.
i hate the fact that if i try to double click on a word or line, it freakin highlights the whole page. that and it doesn't have the plugins or the auto fill in FF does.

I haven't tried it, im not sure if i look forward to trying it.
FF is.. kind of convenient for me,
all the tabs, the bookmark menu, and the increased performance i went through in the scripting.

Looks great from my experiments (with my crew)! But still has a lot of things to fix, internally. So I wouldn't use it now but definitely later when it will get better. I believe they will improve it.
Firefox for the moment.

I like it due to its simplicity and it's faster.
I like that Google search function where you don't have to actually go to Google.
You just type whenever in the box and that TAB function when you are typing the url.
Only think I dislike is loading and looking at hotmails =[

Exactly. If you guys are having IE or FF that keeps crashing and stuff, those problems can be fixed.
But with Chrome, crashing when loading pages that contain a lot of stuff would be Chrome's own problem.
And it can't read certain codes in some websites. More problems.
They try to be too simple and wanting to make things loading too fast. Like as if you wanna put an elephant into a tiny box within few seconds. Crash.
They're on their way to fix those problems.
In terms of security, me and my crew have been working on finding the whole "weak points" of google chrome.
It has some scary weak points, but hopefully nothing compared to an old un-updated IE.
I'd still stick with FF for best security for the moment.
But as I said, I still believe Chrome will improve a lot like crazy.
What I mean by scary weak points, here's an example. An un-updated program (or a new product) can become vulnerable for professional hackers. Pro hackers have been hacking through some un-updated programs such as adobe readers (people always skip those updates) in order to hack their victims. In fact, a program that scans for any weak point possible from another program exists as well so it can ease the tasks for the professional hackers. But I'm not gonna mention about it here. Only in my own website and forum. Anyway, crazy huh? Well we've succeeded against Chrome, still even if they are updated.
More scary weak points. But then again, I'm too advanced. I admit Chrome is very far from being as vulnerable as an old un-updated IE <--- It was so weak, even simple things were easy for rookie-hackers.

I love incognito window.
Esp, the delete all history thing is REALLY fast on regular chrome.
Chrome is the best~
Except for when pictures don't show up.
You have to view in new tab instead of "show picture" )x
I would have switched over a while ago IF there was a gmail plugin for chrome. That's the main thing that keeps me on firefox.

I used to hate Google Chrome, but I use it all the time now. I eventually got used to the menu on top and its very nice and clean! Probably the only thing I dont like is that you cant right click on a picture and select "set as background". But is not big deal ^^
