My friend received this email about Breast Larvae Infestation From Undergarments
and there was a photo of a part of a breast which had clusters of holes with larvae in them
it totally grossed me out, the picture made my skin crawl and i couldn't get the image out of my head and i just felt all squirmy
my friend got over it, but now i start to feel sick everytime i think of clusters of holes in the skin and over the body
well.. they say there's a phobia for everything..
and apparently the phobia for clusters of holes is trypophobia

Yeah, I read that it was fake on the site too but it still hits home. I always washed my new undergarments before wearing them but not new clothes. Which is icky when I actually think about it. How many people could have tried them on? Eeek!
I am so going to start washing EVERYTHING I buy from now on...

How to overcome this? Hmmm, make sure you wash everything properly and thoroughly so you feel safer.

I have it, too.

I can't look at certain meat patties, because of the pattern of holes punched in the top.

Same with lotus plants, wasp nests... ugh. Makes me nauseous.

i saw that picture back in the day and i couldn't stop thinking about it for days either. try to watch some tv or something. get ur mind of things.

omg there's actually a term for this phobia?? I had a friend tell me that she felt sick looking at these sorts of things, but I had no idea that other people had the same problem! amazing

I saw the picture when I was like 11 or 12 (either way, it was a million years ago), and I still can't ever forget what it looked like. I wasn't even afraid of holes before that, but jeez, the picture just scarred me for life. My cousin brought me back an Aero bar from Canada that same year, and I couldn't even eat it properly because it was full of holes arghuasda

I probably have that phobia too. I'm not really scared though.. a bit creeped out, and annoyed, whenever I see like those little creatures in the holes I just want to rip them out. It's even more creepy when it's like holes in your body. Interesting.. never knew there was a term for it.

OMG, me too. That's the same thing I have.
I can't stand looking at like clusters of small small dots or holes.
I start to get itchy and get goosebumps and freaked out.
Omg, I had to do this lab last year with onion cells and when I looked through the microscope and saw those thousands of circular cells all with a smaller dot inside (nucleus), I wanted to like jump outta my skin. Good gawd.

None of my friends get me cause they don't have it.

It disturbs me so much, also reminds me of this deformed baby I saw on youtube where it had just a round hole for a mouth, that made me feel horrible as well T_T
I hate holes. Just reading all the replies gives me the creeps.

edit: OMG! Now I realise why I felt so sickened when I bought a papaya and cut it open for the first time ever. It wasn't that the taste was that bad, the horrible feeling I had was because of all the seeds and dots >< I had one taste and had to chuck it away and cover the top with tissue so I wouldn't see it anymore
