Their major debut with futuristic imagination! Formed in October 2004, had their first live in December that year and released their 1st and 2nd demo albums in May 2005 & May 2006. April 4, 2007 sfp released their first mini-album school food is good food. Their first single will be released on the 27th of May, 2009.

I love SFP's music + Yumi's vocals. I’m happy that they’re with a major label now, and I wonder what kind of stuff they'll be releasing if they do come out with a new album this year since they're always experimenting. I still think that their first two mini-albums were beyond awesome, most songs less poppy than the new single.

School Food Punishment to perform at Japan Expo 2009 in Paris, France (July 2-5) on July 4th. Other artists to perform: AKB48, Puffy, TRILL-DAN, Ra:IN, Yui Makino and SUNS OWL.

Despite the release of their major debut single futuristic imagination on May 27th, school food punishment have already planned the release of a new single for July 22nd. butterfly swimmer, which is being used as the CM song for "Helthya Sparkling", will feature three songs, including title-track and the b-side beer trip, and its first press will also come with a special sticker.

On a side note, the songs feedback and Futari umi no soko, both released in their third mini-album Riff-rain, have been chosen as the opening and ending theme, respectively, for the BS-i drama "Joshidaisei kaikeishi no jikenbo".

i've been listening to this band straight for the past 2 days! i'm just obsessed with "futuristic imagination", lol. i love "feedback", "flow", and "egoist" as well! they are such a great band, and i can't wait for their new single.

okay, I think I fell even more in love with Yumi XD I really like the ambience in the beginning <33333 I love it I love it.
did anyone notice those effects during the chorus? backing vocals? sounded abit weird to me at first. oh well, the chorus is really catchy :P
ah I love butterfly swimmer! now I'm just curious to hear what the b-side will sound like. beer trip, anyone?

Me too~ I really like the beginning of the song.. Perfect!

I love the slow motion during the chorus in the PV.. Yumi looks like a goddness to me~

what I like about them is their music.
but what turns me off is the vocal, listening to school food is good food album made me realize, yumi cannot sing.
but I guess their song are hard to sing.

hmm, never have I thought that Yumi couldn't sing. She might not be the best singer out there, but I think her voice definitely suits the music that SFP makes

Pop-rock band school food punishment have announced the release of their fourth single, light prayer, for November 25th.

light prayer, a rock tune with the supervision of Kamiyama Kenji in the recording process, was chosen as one of the tie-in songs to the movie of the anime "Higashi no Eden", called "Higashi no Eden Gekijouban I The King of Eden". school food punishment's major debut single futuristic imagination was previously used as the ending theme of the anime.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan on November 28th. The single, though it does not have an actual tracklist yet, will be available in both CD+DVD and CD editions.

I think they pushed back the release date for 'light prayer', now it'll be released on the 2nd of December instead of the 25th of this month. I wonder why they haven't released a PV yet?
