Wasn't there a rumour/news that Paulina was fired? It was on soompi...I actually like Paulina's critiques, they're honest even if blunt.

#113 (pour Paulina) was not on my list though, I thought her posing was awful. XD

Supermodel Paula Porizkova said she was fired from “America’s Next Top Model” due to what producers called an ego problem.

In a new interview for Access Hollywood and “The Billy Bush Show,” Paulina opened up to Billy about her dismissal as a judge from the popular reality series, created and hosted by Tyra Banks.

“I must admit I was having a little bit of an issue with Tyra being late for every judging,” she told Billy. “It’s six hours later and I feel like I am being told my time is not as valuable as hers. They pointed out that I should shut up and be grateful for the job and that Tyra is really busy.”

“I think that my little hissy fits about ‘Well, we are all here on time. Why can’t she (Tyra)?’ didn’t go over all that well,” added Paulina, who replaced the previous judge, supermodel Twiggy.

When asked if there might have been an issue that she was the only other woman on the judging panel, Paulina said she didn’t think that was the case, especially when it comes to Tyra.

“I don’t think that in Tyra’s universe that’s even a consideration. I don’t think she cares,” she said. “I’m not even sure she was aware that I existed way out there in Siberia, much like I am not sure she knew Twiggy existed.”

And while Paulina and Tyra clearly didn’t get along in the professional landscape, did the two have any off-camera conversations?

“I wouldn’t know [what kind of person Tyra is] because all I know of her is literally when we are on set talking to each other in front of the cameras,” the supermodel said. “That is the only time she would speak to me.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Paulina first revealed the news of their squabble during an appearance on the “Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson earlier this week.

“Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles?… Because I am looking for a job,” Paulina told Craig. “I was fired by ‘America’s Next Top Model’ on my birthday.”

When contacted by Access Hollywood and asked if Paulina had been fired from the show, a rep for The CW would not confirm she was fired. The rep did reveal Paulina is “no longer” with “America’s Next Top Model.”

Access Hollywood has reached out to representatives for Tyra Banks and is awaiting comment.

Wow.. that sucks about Paulina. I liked her critiques and tips too.

SPECULATION
- Casting and auditions ran from February to May, and casting week took place the first week of May. Therefore the finalists have already been chosen and filming is already starting. This also explains how Paulina will not be a judge for Cycle 13, as she was let go just weeks before filming took place.

- Apparently there will be 14 contestants this cycle.

- The theme for casting week and the auditions will be job interviews, with all the semi-finalists dressing in suits.

- Cycle 13 will be back in LA.

- Supposedly the final 14 consist of: 4 blonde girls; (apparently one has extremely light blue eyes, one has a weird, uncoventional face and the other two are more conventionally pretty. One of the blonde girls is also believed to be diagnosed with bipolar. According to sources supposedly in contacts, the "hottest" Cycle 13 girl was one of the blonde contestants, who looks like Kate Hudson.

- There are two Asian girls, one of which is believed to be the shortest Cycle 13 contestant.

- One contestant is emo looking, with dyed black hair and green eyes. Ms J apparently questions her at her audition and she cries. There may be a story there.

- There are 4 black contestants, though one may be mixed race. One black contestant is bald and is believed to have somewhat of a strong look.

- One of the contestants has a round-ish face and reddish hair. Sounds fierce!

- One of the contestants is Middle-Eastern, with her parents originating either from Iraq or Iran. She has dark-ish tanned skin, hazel eyes and brunette hair.

- One of the contestants is believed to be Latin and born in Spain. She has curly brown hair.

- 9-year old Diva Davanna, who has appeared on The Tyra Banks Show, will make a guest appearance and teach the girls to walk.

- New credits are in order and maybe a slightly different theme tune, as tradition serves that every three cycles the credits change slightly. Cycles 1 - 3 had the original credits, Cycles 4 - 6 had the next installment, Cycles 7 - 9 had the newer credits with a slightly jazzed up tune and images of previous winners shown, Cycles 10 - 12 have had an even jazzier tune and quite a different, trendy style to the credits.

- Babycakes says he/she was told production had been pushed back a couple of times and apparently had not started filming until 2 weeks ago, due to chaos of the New York auditions and the possibility of a new judge, though no word on whether Paulina will be replaced or whether they'll continue with the panel how it is.

- Too much speculation about the international destination. Rumours are ranging from an Asian country to Russia to Mumbai.

- There has been speculation that the prizes will change this cycle, due to a shorter winner more than likely only being represented by an agency with a petite division. From what Nigel said in a recent interview about certain agencies such as Wilhemina representing petite models in their division, and petite models being very successful for beauty shots such as for perfume or jewellery campaigns, and height not being an issue; I feel Wilhemina could perhaps be part of the prize the winner could get signed to. I wouldn't have thought CoverGirl would be too fussed about the height of their winner, but I'm not so sure Elite has a petite division.

JOSIE MARAN is a famous petite model (5′7″) who has appeared on the cover of Glamour and was featured as the Guess Girl in a summer/fall 1998 campaign. She is most recognizable as the face of Maybelline Cosmetics. Episode airs October 7.

The winner of Cycle 13 will receive a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, a contract with Wilhelmina Models and a cover and six-page spread in Seventeen Magazine.

EP 3 - WHO GOES HOME SPOILERS

"I am going to make this quick. No, I have not watched the episodes in advance but like I said before, I did get a chance to work with the production company of ANTM. So I was able to see and hear a lot. I cannot give too many details but here goes.

**2 eliminations
**1st to go is Rachel, they ask her to do something at the drop of the hat, she froze and her ass got sent home from the agency.
**Tyra talks about smize, smile with your eyes
**Next photo shoot is to pose topless in panties with a horse. The long wig has to match the mane of the horse.
**They are looking for the Tyra smize
**Best pictures IMO were Brittnay, Kara, Rae and Erin
**First call out went to Erin
**Courtney gets sent home and her picture was not too bad. A lot of girls FAILED to smile with their eyes, there should have been 2 more girls to go home, john teshed up eye or not! I actually saw the unretouched photos, I was a littled peaved at what I saw.

That's interesting, haven't watched this show in a long time.

I think the religious freak went home cause she's CRAZY! Not cause of her religion or anything, but she seemed not very stable.

But WOW, I am actually LOVING this cycle. Its strange, but for first photos? The girls did remarkably well. Maybe they all are trying harder 'cause this might be their only opportunity...But their height, thus far, hasn't seemed to make them seem any less modely to me...in PHOTOS. On runway...I dunno yet. But the photos, these girls brought it. There were only a few photos I didn't really care for...

Speaking of the photos, I love the photoshoot! I liked the varied sets and clothes and everything, it made me more eager to see the results. Off the top of my head, I really liked Jennifer's, Rae's, and Nicole's photos. I thought Sundais and Lisa's were the worst, and really, they were the only bad photos of the bunch.

And strangely enough....I LIKED the makeovers. Even the bleached brows! Biance was complaining about it, but what else were they gonna do with her? She looked fine anyways, she did look a little alienesque...but she thinks that is a bad thing? Not in the modeling world hunny.

I find the majority of these girls are very very pretty. Some of them I think look better in photos, like Rae. Dont really think she looks like a model in person but that picture was STUNNING.

I am excited to see how the cycle progresses, cause I do think all the girls show potential...to do at least some sort of modeling.

Aaaaaaaand none of these girls are pretty. Imo.

Bianca looks like nene (is that how you spell her name?) from past seasons. I havent watch the whole show yet so i can't form an opinion yet. The model judges are a nice touch but I liked Paulina she kept it real she didnt sugar coat her words, knew who she like and who she didnt.

Alright, here we go with cycle 13! There is a lot of unique contestants this cycle which I am happy to see Not going to point out any favourites at this moment, but the ones that have caught my attention are Nicole and Erin.

Nicole does seem really awkward, but I think she'll make a lot of progress along the way, and come out strong. She has amazing features that make her stand out from the others, not just the hair. I just hope she can show enough personality for the judges to see her true potential. But hey, it's still early on in the show, we'll just have to wait and see. As for Erin, she has such an adorable face. She really stands out to me Somehow, she reminds of Allison from last cycle!

Episode 3 was kind of a disappointment during elimination time. I didn't think Bianca deserved to stay, she causes too much drama. I don't even know why Tyra keeps giving her these chances. I just hope this cycle doesn't turn out to be a disappointment for me like last cycle.

I was soooo sad when Rachel got eliminated, I think she would have rocked this smize bullmini cooper photoshoot cause she has beautifuuuul eyes!!!

I didn't really like Coutney that much, but she didnt deserve to get eliminated. We all know who did, she was in the bottom two last week...and...well her photo sucked this week.

So far though, I think I am liking Erin, Brittney, Rae, and Nicole. I am warming up to Kara and Lulu and Laura and Jennifer. Not sold on Sundai (shes cute but I dont think she photographs all that well.) I cant decide if I like Ashley or not. I dont like Biance, personality aside, I think she has too many factors working against her to be a petite model. She's bald, which is a strong look, and that might not be the best thing for petite models...

Sundai reminds me very much of Danielle from cycle 6? So far, my favorites are Rae and Nicole and praying that Nicole will win but knowing Tyra and ANTM, usually the least deserving girl comes out as top model.

I think this is one of the better seasons in a while. The photoshoots have been good for the most part and a lot of the girls take exceptional pictures. My favorites are Rae and Nicole and I'm starting to warm up to Brittany.

Yes!!! Sundai is finally out. I honesty don't see her as a model. She is just cute and nothing else and her photos were never that great. I rather take Erin's complaining and cockiness for another week to see the spot wasted.

I think Nicole has the biggest chance of winning and I also rooted for her since day one. Like Jennifer said she is everyone's biggest competition.

This season's competition is pretty good! haven't had a season as good as this in a while

I dunno I didn't feel like the models this season really represented "petite." And in the last episode with Marissa Miller and she said "I'm only 5' 8"!" I was like "uhhh, wow I can't relate to that. THAT IS NOT PETITE LOL"

I understand they're models, but still. That's why I was so devastated when Sundai got eliminated because she was the only real petite model there imo. And she's so adorable )): was totally rooting for her. Now only Jennifer is left for me to cheer for... OTL

lol i agree. that's tall for us normal people but i guess not in the modelling world. I agree that ____ was the only real petit model, it's too bad she (imo) lacked real model qualities. she was cute but that's it.

Nicole is def. the most model one imo. Jenn and her wonky eyes and buck teeth really bug me. She really need to learn how to close her mouth like what Marissa said. Was there so little Asian applicants to choose from that Jenn is the best they can come up with? I was browsing thru the 411's and half of the people there look way better than her.

I was disappointed when I heard that two contestant would be eliminated in the next episode.
Here's hoping it'll be Laura and Nicole in the final two.

the past couple of episodes have annoyed me so much! i don't understand what the judges are really thinking. i mean week after week the judges have commented on how bad erin's photos have been/are but they still haven't eliminated her. i really hope she is in this double elimination. i think the other 3 girls have great potential so i'm great with any of them being top 2.

^ i think it's because she was at the top , they can't just suddenly eliminate her after one bad photo. they have to criticise her for a few weeks and then kick her off - works better with the public audience

I actually really want to see Jennifer win! : ) I'm glad to see an Asian go so far into the competition. Nicole also takes really great pictures as well as Laura : ). They're all super cute this season! I really want to see Erin eliminated though... she's such a brat.

I don't know who to root for. I think so far, Jennifer and Laura are the only two people with a personality. Nicole definitely takes good pictures. And so does Erin, but I don't like her attitude.

edit:OMG wow it was pretty tough. i didn't know who the judges chose for the final two besides nicole. i really thought that it was going to be either erin or jenn since laura didn't do too well at the photoshoot, and then i thought that they were going to choose jen because of her personality and erin's inconsistency/self esteem issues..then BAM they choose laura! lol surprised me... anyways im rooting for nicole!!
