Don't you guys hate it when some girls use a fake voice to act "cute"? Maybe it's not as annoying in others' eyes, but to me, it's really annoying.

I have a friend who always uses her "cute" voice. How do I let her know it's annoying? Or do you guys think I'm absolutely crazy and overreacting?

Yeah it's quite annoying. They use that voice when trying to sound cute to a guy or something. I have a friend that has that kind of voice. The thing is..that is her actual voice! lol.

A lot of people say "Why do you have a fake cute voice?" lol and every single time, we have to tell them that it's her actual voice

I know that a girl for Hei Se Hui Mei Mei has a natural "fake cute" voice. Her name is YaTou I think.

Anyways, this girl is actually my friend, so how do I tell her NICELY to stop using that voice?

For some reason, guys like that voice. Probably because most guys like their girls to be innocent and cute LOL.

I wants girls to be more mentally stronger, and more aggressive type. Guys are more attracted to their intelligence, and personality in the long run than just a pretty face with a cutesy voice.

I think it's okay sometimes, for fun BUT if it's too much it can get annoying.

lol, I have friends that have 'cute' voices but they don't use them on guys, they use them for teachers o.o kind of like, respect and politeness.. I'm not really sure, we always mock them for it hahaha

I find it rather annoying, depending on the situation. If it's the girl's natural voice then it can't be helped haha. But if a girl tries to use it to grab attention, ANNOYINGGGGGG.

I think the whole fake voice concept is pathetic. If someone is doing it on purpose for the fun of it (or to suck up to someone for a short moment), I don't care. But if someone does it all the time (as though it is their real voice), it annoys me a lot.

It is one thing to do it on purpose, and another for the spur of the moment.

I can totally relate to you. Seriously, I have a friend who does that like 24/7. Like around me and my girlfriends she wouldn't do it but she would do it around GUYS, and she even emphasises her "cute" voice around them >__>" like seriously. it's not "cute" OKAY?! Bloody hell..

I know quite a few girls that use this voice, though not all personally. There's one though, that goes to my school. She has a cute face and all, but the she has to use her super high annoying fake little voice! Holy cowbeans. Me and my friends make fun of her and imitate her for it. x) She even tries to make cute little faces when we walk by her. Eegad. And then there are those girls on youtube who use that voice. Dear lord. I use a demonic voice for fun! (;

I'm a guy and there's this girl who always TRIES to talk all cute, it's so annoying. I was like "why the hell do you talk like that?? Stop it!!".

ugh i used to have a friend who does a spanish/black ghetto talk when shes around spanish or black people. when shes around her white bf, she acts white. or in front of a bf in general or a guy she likes she acts all perky and like. um......squeaksifies her voice. shes asian. but when she's just around me, she acts normal. dont know if she notices it. but then one day she told me how she was ridiculing this guy for acting ghetto and basically called him out on it in public. biggest hypocrite, and a huge fake. needless to say we dont keep in touch anymore.

Yeah it annoys me too. I know someone who also has a fake laugh, it sounds really fake and really annoying. I've heard her laugh "normally" before and it sounds nothing like it

I wouldn't mind if girls used the cute voice while they were alone with their boyfriend, but I hate hearing it in public or on the phone. This is especially worse in Korea.

I have a friend who doesn't use a cute voice like you think but a more mocking japanese voice like "hai hai" in a deep tone. I find it really cute actually hahaha.

Do not say "you're annoying when you do that". Say "look you're my friend and you are not unattractive at all, but when you do the cutesy voice for some reason I kind of cringe a tiny bit. I'm sorry do not be mad I'm only saying it out of respect." How's that?

I've never seen anyone use a "fake cute voice" though.......or maybe I just haven't heard their real voice yet. o.o My voice fluctuates all the time and goes really high when I'm talking to adults because I get nervous around them..... Man, I don't think you guys would appreciate Japan too much. You just can't avoid it there. It's even worse when you talk to somebody on the phone... from the moment they speak to you, the pitch of their voice goes so far up it's like they inhaled a helium balloon.
