o-0' too tired of people grabbing my phone and looking through the messages as if to confirm i don't have a life. so i delete 'em all.
but i never got around to deleting the [msn] chat logs.
though it has always irked me that people [mostly girls] often read their chat logs somewhat repeatedly in times of boredom or nostalgia or sadness.

but i guess "what else would you do with chat logs".

i only recently started to save the chat logs since sometimes my friends would tell me details of a party or watever and i accidentally close the window without writing it down somewhere [i'm really forgetful]. So yeah. Going back to the chat log helps instead of asking them again since they hate repeating them to me xDD

my phone deletes messages after 15 days. i dont keep quotes/forward messages and all. lol. errrr... and I don't really save most of my chat logs, not unless its really really important - like if it has details that Im too tired to copy.

I only use mns so my chatlogs are automatically saved. As for texts I can never be bothered to delete them.

I Usually delete them. If i don't delete all the sms and emails i get on my phone it lags.

I save my chatlogs and delete them after they get too full. It's always amusing reading them after a while. =)

it's fun reading back and laughing on what kind of conversations my friends and I had more than a year ago.

My text messages are on auto delete, I've never had a text message I ABSOLUTELY HADDDD to save~

My MSN chat logs aren't on auto save either because I like having as much space on my computer as possible. If I have a particularly funny convo, one with instructions or links, convos/interviews with clients, or anything I might need to save for proof of whatever at any point, I'll save them, otherwise I just save them in my head.

I keep them until my phone gets full. Then I delete it all. Yup, I'm lazy like that.

I only keep it if it has some important details. Other than that, I'll just delete it.
Even if I choose to keep it until my inbox full, it's quite useless because I never get back to that message.

With my cellphone, I usually do save stuff..
Until my inbox and outbox are both full.
But I do delete random texts like "Okay" and "Lol", or whatever.

When it comes to MSN, I used to always save my message logs.
But now that I have MSN on my laptop,
I'd rather much save space for other things.
If a conversation is really funny, I'll just save it on Notepad or something.
But yeah, no.. Not anymore.

i save my chat logs because my friends and i are all really forgetful, so it's good to have a saved copy of our conversations to check back on, if needed (which is quite often).

my phone automatically deletes text messages by itself after it exceeds 150.
why save chat logs? takes up computer memory.

that's a waste of time since some of my convos with my friends are really random anyways and there's no reason for me to save them. unless if it's someone really important and he/she said something that needs to be remembered, then yes, i do save it =) most of the time, i don't really even think about saving the chat

text messages, yes i do keep some. but the chainmails and all that random crap gets deleted

I usually save conversations that I think were really funny, or interesting and if I ever feel... nostalgic, I'll reread them.

My chat logs are automatically saved. I haven't bothered changing the settings. It's convenient though when I need to look up sites my friends tell me to look at (that type of stuff).

As for texts, I usually delete them every day.

I used to save since like '06. But ever since i got my new laptop, iv only have records of late '08. theyre useful cause i constantly forget what people say : P

i dont save my chat logs,
coz when i first made my msn;
when the thing popped up asking
whether or not to save,i said no lol.

i delete my phone msgs
but i save the msn ones, because it does that automatically
and you can always bring them back up if soemone decides to say you said something when you didn't.

i didn't keep my chatlogs..

I don't even keep my chatlogs anymore.

I've kept Chat Logs in an archive expanding over 3 years.

I keep them because:
-Great thing to look through for random memories.
-Quotes (ex. I remember you told me last year ...etc.)
-Links and information (ex. Passwords and such) so I don't have to write them down.

I don't save them unless it is really funny, or a really long argument, so I can laugh at them later.
Plus I don't want my mom to see how I speak online LOL.

I save the best ones. I would keep all since I'm too lazy to organize and delete, but it only holds so much. As for chat logs on AIM and stuff, it automatically saves it for me. And it is fun to go back and read conversations from looong ago. x]

I used to. I even saved conversations I had with people face to face. I would like re-write what was said and stuff...WHICH WAS HELLA WEIRD, I HATE MYSELF FOR BEING A WEIRDO. Then my crush made fun of me with my brother and their friends. Now, I only save some online chats or whatever. Right now, I only have one conversation saved. It's when my friend told me she told Taemin that I loved him and he nodded his head XD <3 lmfaaaao.

I save the important ones. As for text messages. DELETE. people go through them. Like my cousin. aish. he's a dork.
