As we all know there are many different kinds of chopsticks for us to use.
For example wood, bamboo, metal, plastic, etc.....
Which type do you prefer to use????/

I love using the metal Korean chopsticks...they're unique.
Though the last time I went to a Korean restaurant they gave us wooden chopsticks...what kind of Korean restaurant does that?

I use metal.
The thought of wooden disposable ones give me goosebumps o_o (the texture x_x).

I use plastic.
My dad wants to switch us to bamboo ones.
I have two metal pairs. But it's hard to use 0.0 'cause they're a lot heavier and harder to hold. Or maybe 'cause even though I'm Asian..i never masted chopsticks. haha

We use either plastic ones or wooden ones(if we want to dispose of them after one use).
We have 2 pairs of Korean chopsticks but we don't use that often

I prefer the boxy wooden ones. Not the crappy disposable ones you get in restaurants. They feel better and have better grip on the hands than that of the plastic ones. I want a set of the metal ones though, they are usually thinner and I bet they have better finger feel than the plastic ones.

I like the plastic ones the most. Metal will be second, and wooden will be third.
Regardless of the type, I am bad at using it.

I <3 wood. not the disposable kind..the really high quality kind. The only thing that could be disgusting is if noob people come to your house and use your chopsticks and bite onthem or something...eww!!
Wood is light and has a nice texture! ^^ Everything is sub-par!

Plastic chopsticks. o_o
I find the metal ones to be heavy and I'm not used to those.
And I have bamboo/wooden chopsticks cos I'm always scared I'm gonna get some kind of splinter when I use them.
Haha, that's why I'm always careful when using wooden chopsticks. lol

wow so many different opinions but does anyone else think those disposable wooden chopsticks are weird because
when you break them apart they are unproportional or splinters get in your food???

I like using the wooden ones (not the disposable ones).
My microbiology teacher told the class one time how he did a test to see just how many organisms were still on certain types of material after he placed raw chicken on top of it and cut/sliced/chopped the meat, then cleaned the material w/ soap.
Plastic did not do well at all, even with thorough cleaning, but wood did (hardly any was found on wood).

I like the full sized bamboo type traditional Chinese chopsticks
they dont slip like metal or plastic, wood grips the food better and tastes better with bamboo for some reason?
the full sized bamboo chopsticks also work well for cooking and stir frying, because you can stir with them in a wok and they are long enough to use for frying food ansd picking it out with the long wooden bamboo sticks.
more practical and they are cheap

Hm I have wooden (not disposable) and plastic ones. I feel like the wooden is dirty after a long period of time eventhought it's washed thoroughly. the plastic ones is just annoying when I eat something slippy like pho.
I would love to try the metal ones someday. wonder where I can get a pair.

i used bamboo one with the longest time
and than recently my church was giving out metal chopsticks, not like the korean ones
....i forgot metal attracts heat, so whenever i put my chopsticks into my mouth wondering what i should pick, - a habit-
i tend to burn myself, ahahaha...

right now its easy for me to use wooden chopsticks because I cook with them too. I sometimes use plastic. the least that I use is metal. one time I used it and ate rice (freshly cooked) and it made the chopsticks hottt and burned my mouth.

but I like either or
