i havent finished listening to the Come Outside EP, but i loooved the song "In the Night" with the whole Spanish-y guitar bg =D

"Alone" is ranked high on many music charts in Korea, also the hot shot debut in our soompi chart this week. The album is selling very well, just ranked No. 2 behind SHINee. I think the mass audience will get to know him now. Pretty soon he won't be "underground" anymore.

I just watched his performance from Music Bank!!! He is SO good! I'm definitely a new fan.

Mastero is No. 1 on the Hanteo album sales chart now.

a lot of sniper sound artists are going mainstream, and it doesn't look like outsider is any exception. personally i never thought his fast rapping could ever beat amazing flow like with kebee or hwana. it seemed more of a mainstream talent, like with crown j. in any case, it's good to see him becoming successful, but i hope he doesn't end up trying to act like a g like crown j.

on a side note he looked better with dreads like in his first album and the motivation video.

I heard him on musicbank or some other show and was like woah that's some fast rapping so I thought I check out his Maestro album and was pleasantly surprised, this genre isn't went I tend to listen to as well.

Ever since his official album release earlier this month, Kpop’s premier rapper
extraordinaire, Outsider, has stymied fans and haters alike with his ravenously rapid
rapping style. It has been concluded (& recorded), from his hit song, “Alone,” that
he is able to rap 17 syllables in 1 second! Jumpin’ Jehosaphat! How is that humanly possible??



Well, the Bionic Tongue (his superhero alias, I hereby coin) tried to explain the secret
to his amazing ability by saying that his speed-centered rapping (soksapo rap)
simultaneously combines two rapping styles. On the one hand, he focuses
on “distinctly and correctly rapping each word,” and on the other, he tries to convey
the “natural, full feeling and meaning”of whatever he’s passionately rapping about…hence
the freakishly fast pace.

His agent announced that in early August, Outsider will host a special event where
he will allow his fans to “follow along” his unique style of rapping. Apparently,
fellow Kpop artist K.Will attempted to rap like Outsider and failed after desperately
trying for 10 straight days.

I’m still confused on how he can rap like this without his tongue falling out of his mouth
from sheer exhaustion, but I gotta say, boy has got some mad skillz! His rapping of
the second verse is totally mind-blowing:

Outsider quickly became my favorite rapper after I heard him on the One Nation compilation: Outsider with Blockbuster Allstarz - B-Busterz.
Not only is he mad fast, he has flow and perfect rhythm while rapping 17 syllables per second. I just feel bad for him that he has to battle for awards with little kids (and lose).

i don't totally understand why arirang labels him as a rookie... yeah, he's a rookie in the mainstream charts, but still an experienced underground artist.

I watched his interview on Arirang and he seems very nice too. I like how he explained the concept about the lyrics of 'Loner'. I think the lyrics are very touching and it's great how he didn't add the speed rap randomly in the song, he explained the reason for the speed rapping in that song.
He's very talented!

omg thank you all for posting links! I've become an overnight fan after watching just one of his performances.
I love his music so much, i've already downloaded both albums and i've ordered his 2nd album maestro from yesasia just a while ago, i'm so excited!!!

I've got mad respect for him, being underground for 8 years and perfecting his skill through 10 years of practice
he's amazing, I love how he's breaking into the mainstream and i love the fusion of genre's in his music.
I love kpop and all, but with the sudden influx of idol groups it feels so tiring listening to the same concepts and styles over and over again. Thank god i stumbled upon outsider's performance, my ears finally have some new candy <3 haha
