anyone into fixies? share photos and stories about your first fixed gear bike.

i always wanted a fixie, but never had the money. i watched vids on youtube, about converting road bikes into fixies, sounded cheap and fun.
my friends and i got some vintage 70's road bikes off craigslist for under $100. we already converted our 10 speed into a single, now is left get new wheels, perhaps a flipflop hub, new cranks, new tires, sand and repaint our frames, etc.
