Leonardo DiCaprio Told To Drop 30 Pounds

Not as fun as running around with hot, young models is it?

Leonardo DiCaprio is on a strict crash diet for his role in the new action flick, Inception, written by Batman director Christopher Nolan.

A set on source tells Radar that "Leo needs to shed at least 30lbs. He's gained weight recently and looks almost a bit flabby, which isn't good, especially as the camera adds pounds."

Leo plans on losing the weight with a strict diet and tons of exercise. The source reveals, "There's an action scene coming up at the end of the year in which he needs to appear emaciated, so the pressure is on."

30 lbs is a bit too much, in my opinion. i think only 7-8 pounds would do, since he doesn't look that chubby. O__o

the trailer looks badass! can't wait!
and im liking the other cast members as well...too bad james franco vacated the role..or else this would have been a double-hottie treat! but i think joseph looks cute too...

oh and yeah i cant wait to see the 'emaciated look' on leo..wow 30lbs by the end of this year..he can do it!

YESSSS, I've been waiting for another Christopher Nolan movie! Solid director and solid cast...hopefully it will be successful.

as for the losing weight issue.. the comment about how the camera adds pounds made me laugh ahah.. i agree, i think he's a bit bigger now but i don't think he's fat at all.. but i'm sure he'll be able to pull off losing 30 pounds.

That must be crazy pressure to lose 30 pounds but I definitely think he can do it.

What's worse is the opposite when actors/actresses are required to put on 30+ pounds for a movie role. I would diee... if I had to do what Renee Zellweger had to do for Bridget Jones... TWICE... and now they are talking of a third movie.

Anyway.... this movie looks pretty awesome. Awesome sneak peak trailer, awesome cast, awesome director..I definitely want to go watch it when it comes out.

Well if it's for a movie...yeah, whatever. Part of the craft.

But in real life he looks GREAT as he is. Personally, I like bodies like that =D I don't need any washboard abs, kekeke.

He looks so much better when his hair isn't slicked back like it usually is.

JGL was one of my major celebrity crushes as a kid. Loved him in 3rd Rock but he's completely blossomed now. Even as a tween I had great taste.. heh heh.

Joseph has been in a lot of films lately, or at least that's what it seems like

His face aged strangely. When he was a teen, he was absolutely gorgeous, but like...his jaw seemed to get wider and just...I don't know. He's still one of the most amazing actors of our generation, though.
