So, anybody here heard of them? I just recently heard of them after watching the New York, I Love You's trailer. They're really good! They played on Letterman recently I think.
Their recent album is Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix and the recent single from that album is "1901."

I haven't listened to their other albums, but WAP is a really good album.

I love this band! I found them because the lead singer is married/domestic partner to Sofia Coppola, who I'm a really big fan of - which also makes him the cousin to the lead singer of the band Rooney, which I really like as well lol. My favorite off the new album is Lisztomania.
God, Wolfgang Amadeus is such a good album. So well crafted.

agreed, it actually doesn't do their live performance justice, they sound incredible live, love 1901/listzomania/lasso/girlfriend/etc really one of the best albums of the year

Lasso, I've had that on repeat for how many days a while ago.
Absolutelyyyyy amazing band. Their latest album is such a different sound from all their other albums. While I do love Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, I still have to say, my favorite song will always be If I Ever Feel Better and You Can't Blame it On Anybody from their old albums.

I'm so glad that Phoenix is getting more recognition. They definitely deserve it and I love them. I remember squealing in joy when I saw the trailer for New York, I Love You, and hearing their song! <3

i love their Wolfgang Amadeus album! Its so unique and nice and i can listen to it over and
over again!

how hardcase is that? I wasn't expecting to see them here but yes I am a fan of their music too and I agree "If I ever feel better" is one of my favourite all time songs, good lyrics and funkya$$ beat, I don't go for too long without listening to that songyep they're definitely underrated, and you are fortunate to see them live
enjoy their performance
