quarter-life crisis here. i'm turning 24 next week and it seems like my time after graduating college has zipped by. it just helps me realize how much freedom you really get while in college.

Age is just a number. What matters is how you feel on the inside.
How you interact with others, the people who surround you, the activities or sports you take part in.
All play a role in influencing the way you think -
the feeling of getting the most out of life and still feeling youthful.

ha! I'm 30 but I'm still enjoying myself like i'm still 23-25. I've done uni twice, travelled a bit, moved countries, nearly killed myself a couple of times and I still find that I haven't seen or done enough. My advice is, do things while your young... while you still can.

Yeah, a lot of times. Turning 21 in a month here. I keep seeing younger people around, makes me feel so old. But good side is that ... I make decision to do whatever I want to do when I'm still young. No more "buts" or "wait until", "later on".
Maybe things will change.

I'm 26 and I feel old. The reason for me feeling old is that I did a lot of things too quickly. My dad used to always tell me that I should do whatever I wanted while I had time, so I did. Now I feel like one of those old gramps sitting on front porches playing chess and talking about the good old days. Things just seem so boring now. It's stuff that's been done before. If only I had good eyesight, I'd probably take a run at pro wrestling 'cause man I've loved it since I was a kid.

For men, 30 is a great age. Because for some reason, women think boys magically turn into men at 30 although that cannot be farther from the truth. Not that i'm complaining lol.
30 kind of sucks for women though... obviously.

I wanna go back in time to when I'm 16 too

Unfortunately, that's not possible. At least not yet, anyway!

So just cheer up and try to look at the glass half-full instead of half-empty. Instead of thinking that you've lived 20-something years, see it as having 40, 50 or 60 more years to live your life to the fullest.
That's how I comfort myself, anyway

Sometimes I feel sad when I think that I'm getting *older* but then to be optimistic I think *older--> wiser*, and remember all the stupid stuffs I did back then lol.
Right now, I just do all the stuff I want to do while I can so I would be satisfied in later life. NO "WHAT IFs.."

I am also on the same boat. Twenty-one this month, twenty-two the next. But then again, I lived in a household with two people who are in their 80s...honestly, even if you are feeling old - just one look at them and that thought will immediately vanish.

By the way, how come nobody mentioned "He-Man"?

Seriously? I'm 24, if you're old then I must be ancient!
You're just "old" compared to a lot of people who post here but in the real world, you're still quite young. And anyway, you're only as old as you feel

I do sometimes long for the days when I was younger & more carefree but that's a toxic way of looking at things. Everyone's going to age at some point. It's inevitable.

I do agree that you're only as old as you feel. I'm also 24 and used to be gerontophobic. In fact, I almost had an anxiety attack when I turned 20. I think sometime last year I realized it was a waste of time to worry about age. Time will pass me by no matter what, so I do my best to try to enjoy it.

I LOVED Sailor Moon. Had the biggest, biggest crush on Tuxedo Mask! He was probably my first TV crush

First saw it when I was in what 6th or 7th grade? Then later on, they started airing it on USA network and I'd watch it every morning before going to school. Wow! Feels like a lifetime ago
I also watched the old X-Men, Captain Planet (tottally adored it since I thought the "wind power" and "earth power" stuff was cool and the "saving the planet" message totally went over my head), Power Rangers when it first started (still remember the episode when Tommy-what's-his-name finding out he's the white ranger). Didn't notice it then but now that I think about it, they had a black guy playing a black ranger, an Asian girl playing the yellow ranger, a white girl playing a pink ranger

Non-cartoon shows I always, always watched after school were Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Family Matters, Full House....
Can't believe I'm saying this but I miss the 90's!

God, hate going everywhere and people addressing me as ma'am now! How dare they!

Compared to most of the soompi members, you may be "old," because the majority are teenagers, but in the real world, you're still young. I'll be 29 in February. I'm dreading it because it'll be my final year as a twentysomething, which is why I'm going to go all out during that month, haha.

Sometimes I feel old too....especially since I entered school late since I was born in decemeber so I'm usually older than everyone else in my grade. Also because sometimes I forget my real age and think that I'm a year older than I really am (happened twice and I was so embarrassed and shocked when I realized!

)
But I think I feel old because I haven't accomplished much in life and wish for a more fulfilling life....Now I'm like eh....

But I'm sorta growing up still even now I've given up my dreams so that I can actually get a job in. I've slowly stopped going to things that I loved going to. yup I feel older.
